Good pizza and meatballs, ambiance could be better. We ordered meatballs as an appetizer, and the secret is in the marinara sauce. Meatballs were so-so. I could tell they weren't fresh and rather were pre- cooked. As for the pizza, its pricey but worth the taste... once again the marinara sauce was delicious. Nice place with a good atmosphere and good service. Had a delicious Greek salad, Bruno's Meat pizza, Italian Beef Baguette and Lasagna. The only thing that wasn't fantastic, was the lasagna. The portions were large and we left very full. Prices were reasonable too! Go check them out. read more

R-U-N!!! We were the only two people sitting outside and it took 30 minutes for TWO paper-thin pizzas to arrive. Terrible service! And the "pizza" is even WORSE!!! It had no sauce and it was dry as a bone from being over cooked. We LOVE thin crust pizza. Bruno's crust literally tastes like "The Aspen Times" newspaper filled with bad news (no offense "Aspen Times!"). And we were starving after we ate each of our pizzas because they are so insubstantial. Stay away from this abomination of a "restaurant" that insults its guests with disgusting food and non-existent service! Or, suffer fools gladly who intentionally rip you off with the driest definition of pizza, leave you hungry, and treat you like poo by awful service. You have been warned! read more

We have been staying in Aspen for the week, we tried to make a reservation here for 3. There were none all night, so we made a pickup order! We arrived to pick it up and the restraunt was empty (maybe reservations were for later I didn't ask it was about 7:30-8:00 pm) But the staff was all really kind, they gave us 3 extra ranches to dip in. My sister got a calzone she said it was a 3 star zone because it was dry and had much more crust than anything else and had pretty hard crust. I got a customized pizza and it was really good, I did not like the spinach though and I usually love spinach, it was pretty chewy/stringy. My dad got the paisano and said it was really unique and SUPPERRRR HOT!!! overall good pizza, nice staff, ok calzones, I was confused about the inside seating but it's all good! read more

It was packed for President's Day weekend. The owner personally sat us and took our order with a smile. He had us in and out quickly, so my daughter wouldn't miss her Dance Aspen performance at the Wheeler. He even hand stuffed the olives for my WCD martini making the experience that much better for this mom:) before entering Brunelleschi's we went to 2 other establishments that just dismissed us. The food was amazing, the service was spectacular, and we can't wait to go back! It's the perfect spot for locals, like us, and visitors in Aspen. Food was ok. Menu price says $10 for a calzone but they charged $17. They charge separately for each topping. Chicken was listed at $2 but they charged $6. They also charged $17 for the calzone. Good pizza, not so great of an experience. We had just arrived to Aspen and we were starving. This cute little pizza spot came recommended and sounded appealing to everyone in our group so we walked in. We were greeted by a very friendly hostess who seated us quickly. It smelled amazing and the space wasn't very crowded at all so we were hopeful we'd get our food quickly. Enter our waitress. It took our server about 5 minutes to come ask us what we wanted to drink. At that point we just wanted water. The rest of our party joined us and we had to get her attention to order and for more water and another time to place our food order. I don't think our order was complicated or demanding at all. For 6 of us we split 4 pizzas. The pizzas were all delicious and tasty. We ate every bite! Once finished not only had our water been out for awhile (again) but the restaurant was now almost empty and we had to go up to our waitress to ask for our check. The pies were on the pricey side ($21 for essentially a personal pizza) but they hit the spot so we didn't mind. What we quickly realized was that no wonder she doesn't care, her gratuity was already added in at 20%! If I were to go back it would be for a to-go order only. read more

Firstly a quick review of the restaurant: Ambiance - Romantic with great music Food - Yummilicious Service - Fantastic Price - Slightly expensive We went here to celebrate our 5th year anniversary. Being a tourist destination and sunday night, there were not too many people and we got their utmost attention :) The staff was super nice and friendly. We started our meal with lentil soup, bruschetta and cucumber green salad. The soup was just perfect for the cold night and bruschetta unlike other restaurants had a mix of cherry tomatoes, fresh mozzarella in basil pesto. The bread was super fresh and tasted really good. We ordered Ezra a la penne with vodka reduced marinara and white sauce with veggies. This was a huge portion and tasted divine. We ended this scrumptious meal with molten lava cake and whipped cream. The cake was melt in the mouth and was super delicious. The prices were little expensive, being a popular tourist destination this was kind of expected. The 3 stars is purely for the food. The service received was abysmal. My family and I went here looking at all the reviews but our waitress Kaisha was ABSOLUTELY rude. It came across as RACIST since she was smiling and talking with every other table she waited upon. We ordered 2 pizzas and she slammed them on our table. After giving us our bill, she had charged us for something that we didn't order. When I brought it up, not even a word of apology. She just snatched it saying I have given you the wrong bill. If this is the attitude towards people who want to come and eat at your restaurant, I am sorry to say that you have lost every ounce of respect from me. UPDATE: I did speak to Emily and she was extremely nice about handling the situation. She took care of the overcharge on my bill as well as the complaint against the waitress. read more

My entire life I've spent the week between New Years and Christmas in ski towns. From Park City to Vail and Jackson, I've gotten a great taste for the Rockies. It seems every ski town has a pizza restaurant and bar with quality pies in a low key atmosphere. I finally found the classic pizza dive in Aspen: Brunelleschi's! I went in late on a Friday night and luckily there was one open table in the bar. It's a rookie move to ask for a table in the main dining restaurant in this type of establishment - the bar is where the energy is. We ordered the beat salad, meatballs and made our own pizza with caramelized onions and prosciutto. I loved how thin the pizza was. It was kind of like a cracker. The caramelized onions were sweet and they use a great tomato base on their pizzas. I even asked for extra of the tomato sauce it was so good. Beet salad was fresh and simple and meatballs were old school and hit the spot. A nice change of pace with all the fancy establishments in Aspen! read more

Don't expect bargains in Aspen but you will get some of the best food in town here and it's reasonably priced. One person will have trouble eating a standard serving. Ordered the Asparagus and Mushroom Risotto with sausage, a mixed green salad and the cheesy garlic bread to go. My wife and I were craving some Italian and not wanting the outrageous prices of so many restaurants in Aspen. The food was amazing. The bread was so flavorful and crispy, the salad could use more dressing, but there are lots of carrots and tomatoes in it, so good verity. The risotto was amazing. Smelled amazing as soon as we walked in. We only came for a quick bite around dinner, as we had eaten a late lunch. Server wasn't rude, but didn't seem overly excited about us and our tiny order. I get it, whatever. The pizza was good, not amazing. I was skeptical of the paper thin crust, but they actually pull it off really well - somehow it holds up under the toppings, and it adds a nice crisp. We had the classic caprese/margherita, and the toppings were just ok. Overall, I wouldn't avoid returning here, but I might give somewhere else a shot first? read more
