I asked for a side of ranch for our pizza and she came back with the tiniest sauce container with less than a tablespoon of ranch in it, which I originally thought was fine because I could just ask for more, which I did end up doing. Then, every time my boyfriend's soda was low she would take it and refill it, not specifying that it would cost us for a refill. Then we get our check and I see 2 charges for ranch $2 each and 2 charges for soda $6 each. She never specified that the ranch nor the soda refills would be extra especially since the ranch portion was smaller than a shot glass. Some places charge for ranch which is fine, but they give you enough ranch to justify a charge. Then on top of that there was a 22% gratuity fee already added because we were a group larger than 6. AND on top of that there was a 5% employee wellness fee. Both explain why the waitress didn't need to care about doing a good job because she was already guaranteed a 27% tip. Keep in mind this was all noticed after we got the receipt emailed and had already paid because on the software they use for paying, it didn't show us an itemized receipt. And of course, we could have waived the employee wellness fee but we didn't know that it existed or that we could've waived it until after we paid. Just pay your employees more or up the prices of your menu items to include the "wellness" fee.

Nothing specifically lacking as a restaurant but nothing really outstanding either. So when charged $15 for a small bowl of seaweed, $10 for a 3" long fried vegetable spring roll, and $48 for a small bowl rice with a sprinkle of steak (maybe 1-2 ounce) the enjoyment of the dining experience suffers greatly under the feeling of way overpaying. Based on other locations this meal might have been fairly priced at 50% less But it was Aspen and apparently the extreme pricing doesn't stop folks from attending. But value for quality should always be a strong guiding factor regardless of location.

Worse Dining Experience in My life We chanced upon this restaurant, and saw outside eating. Nobody was there, so I went upstairs to inquire about eating outside. I was met by Manny, and asked if outside service was available and he said yes. I told him I was handicapped and walking especially up stairs and he said no problem as he would make sure we were well taken care of outside. He took our order without writing anything down, then came back a few minutes later to go over what we wanted. We reminded him at that time we would like extra lime in our drinks, and napkins. Our food came but the extra limes and napkins weren't there. We asked again for them, and when he left, he never came back. After quite a long wait, I had to walk up stairs to get a coffee refill and to complain of poor service to the owner or manager. I was told none were on duty, and at that time Manny saw me and came over and rudely confronted me. I told him of his poor service, and he told me the bar was full and he couldn't get back to us. The bar and restaurant were almost empty, this was a complete lie. I asked for the bill at that time, and noticed an automatic tip was added of almost $12.00 for our party of 4. I confronted Manny telling him a mandatory tip being added for a group of 4 was pretty aggressive, and tips are supposed to be based on good and courteous service which we certainly didn't get. After a short and rude exchange on his part, he reluctantly took the added tip off our bill. As he was doing it, I told him it was not enough, his response was "too bad" that's all he would do. After I paid the bill, we noticed the price of our drinks were higher than advertised. We even showed Manny the sign our our table with prices on it, and he said "I already rang up the bill" and walked away. When we got home and saw the charges on my credit card, it was higher than my signed receipt. $6.00 was added without my permission to my credit card. I hope the owner of this restaurant reads this review, as it was the worst dining experience I have ever had, and would never, ever recommend it to anyone. read more

Not sure why this place only has 3.5 stars! The pizza is absolutely amazing - the crust is phenomenal. We travel all over and this pizza crust is hands down incredible - thin and full of flavor. Girards Artistry at $75/bottle or $25/glass is a value. They would not give us the recipe - sad face. Not sure about the rest of the food - mussels were good, meatballs were good. Pizza AMAZING, especially the thin tasty crust!!!! read more

This is a groovy spot! Freshly remodeled, the bar is now much improved! Massive flat screen tv makes this a great spot for sports, especially hockey (owners choice!). The brick oven pizzas are excellent and it's one of the best places in Aspen for kids! The beers are always cold and delicious, and the lasagna and lunch paninis are worth the trip!! What a fantastic experience. Emily took great care of us, was engaging, accommodating and fun. The food was great, we had the beet salad, soup of the day and some incredible muscles- amazing broth with those! Drinks were delicious and super reasonable.
