Excellent, excellent food. Came here first for a special event where it took a bit for the service to even out. But it did. And when later I asked about a promised bonus, it instantly appeared. Really interesting happy hour (there's a reverse one 7:30-9 Friday and Saturday) with a huge Caesar. If you're anywhere near here you should visit. read more

Disjointed poor service in a cramped and cluttered atmosphere. We were given paper napkins while some tables had linen. Unripe melon and stringy prosciutto appetizer was a miss. A Hidden Gem in Sun City! My wife and I took her mother to Brunello on Monday night, and we were absolutely blown away. Oscar, the manager, greeted us with such warmth and friendliness that it set the tone for a fantastic evening. The food? Simply amazing. The sauce served with the bread was incredibly flavorful, and the cannelloni was pure perfection. I ordered the pollo parmigiana, and it was hands-down the best I've had in decades -- tender, rich, and full of authentic Italian flavor. The atmosphere was marvelous as well: cozy, inviting, and perfect for a relaxed night out with family. We highly recommend this hidden gem in Sun City. We've been looking for a new weekly date night spot for a while, and a friend suggested we try Brunello LV. We were not disappointed. There is patio seating which folks were taking advantage of while one can still be outdoors in Vegas. The dining room has a modern decor and black/gray/white color scheme, is full of natural light and is just the right size - enough room so that there is privacy between tables, but not so large that it feels cavernous. They can definitely accommodate larger parties, and there were high chairs available for kiddos. We opted to sit at the bar, as that's our style. We were immediately greeted by Juan (server), Oscar (bartender), and Roland (owner) and felt so welcome! We made it in time for happy hour, and enjoyed $5 glasses of house wine, and ordered a margarita pizza off of the happy hour menu for $10. It's beer and wine for the moment, but they are in the process of obtaining their liquor license and planning a cocktail menu! This restaurant has an open kitchen concept which I love, because in this case EVERYTHING is made from scratch - sauces, pastas, everything. Our happy hour pizza was literally the size of a small pizza - 6 full slices and topped with fresh basil and olive oil. The crust was thin and crispy, it had the perfect amount of sauce and mozzarella, and it was just delicious! I was stuffed afterwards, but hubs ordered the rigatoni bolognese. Topped with fresh herbs and parmesean, the meat sauce to pasta ratio was on point. The pasta itself was al dente, and the bolognese was hearty and rich - pure comfort food. We enjoyed our food so much that we ordered a chicken parm with homemade tagliatelle to go so we could enjoy it at home for dinner the next day. We will go back based on the food alone, but we will absolutely return based on the experience - from the friendly regulars who included us in conversation and Roland making sure our food was to our liking, to Juan snapping a photo of us so we didn't have to take a selfie, and Oscar's quick wit having us constantly laughing. This is what we've been searching for in a "regular" spot, and we found it at Brunello LV. read more

I was excited to try this new restaurant because this location really needs some variety in the restaurant department. I wasn't a fan of the previous restaurant that was here so my friend and I gave it a try to celebrate both of our birthdays. I made a reservation For 2 PM but it was totally unnecessary. We were there for almost 3 hours just eating and talking and honestly, the traffic was very light. Our waiter was Gio and he was very attentive. We started off with just light beverages since it was 2 PM and we still had a lot of Christmas things to do. We decided to share our selections which were a Caesar salad, the house meatballs, and a margarita pizza. The Caesar salad was lacking anchovy and was just OK. The meatballs? I hate it when I have to compare them to my own, but I did and they do not Hold a candle to mine. The margarita pizza had a nice crust, but the flavor was extremely bland. I'm giving four stars, hoping that it improves, but I'm not quite sure if I would entertain returning anytime soon. read more

Pasta was yummy! I can't complain. The pollo Parmesan was the dish I ordered and I loved that the chicken was moist and juicy. I've had some where the chicken is so dry I can chip a tooth. We were excited to try out a new Italian restaurant in Summerlin and support a local business. Unfortunately, our experience was quite disappointing. I made a reservation to take my in-laws out for a nice Italian dinner. Upon arrival, we were seated at a somewhat uneven table that seemed to be an extra addition to accommodate our party of five. While the aesthetics were off, it wasn't a big deal. Then our server, an older gentleman, greeted us and gave a quick rundown of the specials for the day. When we asked him to clarify the soup of the day, he responded sarcastically, "cream of broccoli, you know the green stuff that's healthy for you. You should try it sometimes." It felt out of place and uncalled for, but we let it slide. Later, when we asked what the chicken dish came with, he sounded peeved and said snidely, "A side of vegetables, if there's anything else I would have told you," then scrambled off. We tried to call for him to further elaborate but his attitude was clearly unpleasant and he decided not to serve us at that point so we left. If you are going to be rude and snippy, don't be a server at a restaurant. It's an odd occupational choice for someone to go out of his way to be unpleasant to a family with seniors and a toddler who wanted to support your restaurant. Unfortunately, we won't be returning, and if this is the attitude this business plans to take with customers, I imagine it's going to be a tough road for them moving forward. We ended up going to Ciao Vino down by Boca Park and had a much better experience. I'd recommend that restaurant - aesthetically elegant and much better service. read more

My wife and I had an unforgettable Christmas dinner at Brunello LV! The waitstaff made us feel welcome immediately, and our server (Please forgive my memory, but I believe his name was Gio or Gino), took great care of us, and made our day extra special. The Christmas menu was excellent - crab cakes were tender and full of lump crab meat, the Frutti di Mare was superb - beautifully presented and FULL of fresh, delicious seafood, the Sea bass melted in our mouths! Brunella was a nice little quaint place in Sun City. Four of us went last night and we closed the restaurant. The staff is very nice and the bartender or owner was a very nice gentleman. They even have a happy hour at 5 o'clock.!! the menu has many selections and several wine choices. Whether you're vegan or vegetarian, there are choices for you as well. Saw that this place wasn't too far and had good reviews so my husband and I decided to try it out. The wine he got was good and my espresso martini was also good but we did not care for any of the food we got. The bread was ok and the dipping sauce has no flavor and was also a bit cold. The calamari was just okay. We decided to share a traditional carbonara and it was not good. It tasted like bacon grease and nothing else but we were hungry and just ate it. We decided to try Brunello LV and arrived at 7:50pm, online as well as the sign they have outside says they close at 9pm. The door was open so we walked inside just to be told they had closed early. Another couple was walking in behind us and was also turned away. No early closing sign anywhere visible. We always try to support y local businesses but at this rate some just make it difficult to do so. I wonder how they've stayed open this far. We ended up dining at Amedeo Pizza Italian Cafe and what a difference in service. We walked inside at around 8:15 pm got seated right away and the food was amazing but what made a huge difference was the superb service we got. Our server was very nice and even though they closed at 9pm he still offered us dessert and coffee. We didn't feel rushed at all and enjoyed our after dinner cappuccino, we ended up leaving at 9:30 well passed closing time and told us he hopes to see us again and they will see us again for sure. read more
