I was happy to see this restaurant open in Sun City Summerlin where My Mother's Place was. I really like the changes they made to the inside. It looks more like a restaurant now and the decor is so much warmer too. If you're a Sun City Resident and like Italian food, please go and check them out for yourself. If live out of the area, it's worth the drive to experience a great Italian dinner. Our server was pretty amazing too. She knew the menu extremely well and directed us to a couple of menu items we were considering. As a former restaurant manager I was glad to see the whole serving staff was attentive in removing empty dishes and refilling water. Not the case at most restaurants where they just walk by unless it's their table. The owner stopped by and we learned that her husband is the chef. It was interesting how he learned the Italian techniques by having different chefs from Italy coming and staying with them and learning more on their trips to Italy. It was a nice change from other so called Italian restaurants in Vegas. Food was fabulous. Prices were reasonable, in the $25+ range for entrees. read more

Brunello LV Opened October 15 at their new location in Sun City, Summerlin, and my wife and I were looking forward to trying them out. We visited yesterday, Saturday evening at 7:30 after making reservations. There were a few empty tables so reservations were unnecessary, since people are still learning about this place. The place is small, seating no more that 50 diners, I would guess. We had calamari, dinner salads, lobster ravioli, and chicken parmesan. All were outstanding! The Calamari was as good as any I have ever had in my long-legged life, just outstanding. You could actually taste the lobster in my wife's lobster ravioli, and my chicken parm was juicy and delicious. Prices were reasonable for an upscale bistro. I.e. side salads were $10, house wine $11. Most entrees were $25 - $30. We were regulars at the Italian restaurant that had occupied this location for several years, and Brunello is even better. I highly recommend Brunello. read more

I was excited to visit a new Italian restaurant in the neighborhood. Upon arrival, the hostess grunted at us and pronounced, "Follow me." The place is tacky-looking. The designer tried but had no taste. The table was really small, and the chairs were uncomfortable. Still, they tried to cram two plates, another menu, glasses and a lamp on the table. There was no room for anything else. Then we waited and waited, and waited... The apparent only waitress was chatting with the only cook. After ten minutes of waiting, my wife and I nodded at each other. We got up and left without being served. As I walked out the door, I saw the waitress finally standing at our table, watching us leave. I'm excited for Brunnello's to go out of business so we can visit the next new restaurant in Sun City Summerlin. read more

Simply amazing.!! We had the celebration of life here for my daughter in law. Inga and the staff went above and beyond to make the memorial for our loved one so very special. Everything was perfectly set up when we arrived. It looked beautiful. Very elegant.. We let Inga and Chef plan out the menu for us. She worked within our budget and it turned out nicer than I could have imagined.! The food was wonderful and the service outstanding. They made a difficult time for our family so much easier. I'm thrilled that this restaurant is so close to my home! The food is absolutely fantastic and refreshingly different from typical Italian cuisine. The service was exceptional; the staff made us feel right at home with their genuine friendliness. Met friends there Saturday evening. Had a drink at the bar, then had dinner at a table. We had the Beet salad and RAVIOLI ALL'ARAGOSTA (Lobster Ravioli) and a fig Risotto. The arancini was really good ,the sauce under it was an Ala vodka sauce ,which was delicious. The calamari was just as it should be ,not rubbery And so so tender and tasty ! Brunello is a hidden gem in Summerlin. Tucked away in the very open-to-public golf course community of Sun City Summerlin, the food is fantastic (they import their flour from Italy. Incredible pizza but everything - including the wines - are delicious. This is a neighborhood-dining gem. I've been multiple times since Brunello opened. I've always loved the food and wine list but now I love the whole dining experience! Beautiful new comfortable chairs and tables, excellent service and as always, authentic & delicioso Italian food and wine. It's obvious this ownership cares about its customers and took complaints to heart because upgrades and improvements are apparent! Brunello has been opened for two months. My wife and I decided to have lunch at this new Italian restaurant. The food was excellent, the owner advised us all pastas are made from scratch on the premises, nice ambiance, and great service. My wife ordered a coke and I had glass of Cabernet. To our surprise the coke came out with lots of ice little coke so we asked for a refill and were charged $4.00 dollars for each glass of coke which was a little over the top since most high end restaurants never charge for refills. That was the only negative, the owner should consider not charging for refills since they charge $4.00 per glass. read more

Went there the first week they were open -- not good. Kitchen staff was overwhelmed -- took over 45 minutes to get our appetizer, even after several comments made to waitress. Caesar salad was bland, and their special dipping sauce for the store bought bread pieces lack any specfic taste. Lastly we had two pours of wine but on the second pour, the bottle was near empty, and the pour was short --- waitress said she would make up for it on the next wine order (not good). read more
