No. No. NOOOOOO. This is NOT how an establishment should be run. Piss poor customer service for our dinner. ***I'm writing this from my own personal experience. Please use this as a reference and try their services out for yourself.. or dont.*** I came here in a group of 8, and the wait time was horrendous. When I mean wait time, I don't mean the time to get from the door to the table. I mean, we waited 20-25min JUST to get our drink order! Like, come on! Once the waitress finally came to our table, we just gave her our drink and food order to prevent any further waiting. Here are the issues that I had with this place. 1. Long wait time for everything. (We would need small items and would have to wait so long to ask) 2. Never being checked up on (rarely any "Hey is everything ok/how's the food *add the manager to this - I'll get back to that) 3. Food was clearly sitting out waiting to be served. (Food temperature was lukewarm or just dried out) 4. Long wait time for food (YES. I put it again! That's how bad it was) 5. The prices. (Why am I paying higher prices for half-assed service!?) 6. ATTITUDE. (How are you able to provide this, but NOT actual good service. Im not begging for white glove service, but at least a respectful dinner.) As for the manager (I assume it was him clearly based on his interaction with the other large party sitting right next to us. The table had their order screwed up, and the manager came out with a smile on his face and really courteous. "Hey, what are we missing?" "What else can I get you?" "It's coming right up." All of this is great service...coming from the manager to that table. Not ONE time did my table receive it. The best coconut shrimp ever! So good we ordered more for dessert. I could be done, but have to say that the shrimp scampi with noodles was pretty good as well. I also enjoyed the Caesar Salad more than most (the anchovy flavor was more pronounced, which I miss in most versions). This location has significantly more energy than any of the others that I have been to in the past. The servers were all very helpful and would ask if we needed anything (even though they were not our "main" guy). Consumed plates were removed immediately and our water glasses never got near empty. I do wish the restaurant was located on the water side of the shopping center (all the other locations I have been to have a water view) On the other hand, this side is less busy and has almost no "ocean" smell. Twice this week we went here for dinner, both times their wasn't anyone working the hostess podium...stood around for quite awhile waiting for someone to take our name, assign a table...something. Waitstaff wasn't even interested in our table. Finely had to ask an older lady if we could order dinner. While the food was good, everything else wasn't. The staff was very friendly from the moment we walked in and it continued with fast friendly service! They have a nice menu with something for everyone. The prices are reasonable with good sized portions. The chicken sandwich was good as was the seafood combination. If looking for a good bite to eat that will fill your stomach without draining your pockets look no further. They also have a nice drink menu with specialty cocktails. Nicely themed as well! Mediocre at best. You can definitely find better food elsewhere as everything here doesn't taste as good as it costs. I would be surprised if they said the food is fresh as it has a frozen food heated up in the microwave vibe to it. I had the peel and eat shrimp, fried chicken, and grilled shrimp on a skewer. The shrimp was small and a nuisance to peal and eat. The corn was sweet but no type of seasoning. Mashed potatoes were alright they weren't creamy. Fried chicken definitely is a skip as I could of just went to a local grocery store and heated it up myself. They have this weird 5 minute rule to get to the place once your table is ready. They should extend it to 10 or 15 as there is so much around to see for tourists. The only thing that makes up for it is the bar staff. They were friendly and the drinks were good! Conveniently located in Bayside Marketplace, with outside seating & TV's so we enjoyed watching sports. This Bubba Gump location was super good to us... restaurant is clean, friendly and efficient staff. Our server was very attentive and helpful with the menu (too bad I can't recall his name but I believe is Ryan). Our food and drinks were amazing! We come here after some walks around town and it's a fun stop after a tour or shopping bayside. Recommend the bang bang shrimp and calamari with extra dipping marinara. Do not come here if you are in a rush or hate waiting a tiny bit :). It does get a little busy but you can tell everyone is working hard and getting it done. I had their shrimp combo, and it was fried perfectly. I really liked the coconut shrimp. However, some of the sauces that they provide aren't that great-tasting, and some of the fries are overcooked. The service is lacking, since I don't get a water refill, and I've asked several times for it. The service was horrible. During a stay, I believe one or two workers were caught stealing customers bag. It was a private event for us customers so no one from outside was allowed in. The only people who could have taken it was the workers and when we asked to check the CCTV footage they said that it wasn't working which was obviously a lie. My husband, son and I ate here while vacationing in Miami. First off, the waiter ws very rude!! It also took about 45 minutes to get appetizers!! The food was warm and tasteless!! After sitting down, we weren't greeted by the waitress until 7-8 minutes later. When we told her we needed a minute, she gave us a side eye and walked away. We had ordered a ceviche appetizer and a chicken breast plate. Neither plate had much flavor to it and no one came to check on us after getting us our drinks, which had been 20 or so minute. Hate to unload on an entire restaurant just for dessert but that's all we had...fortunately. Went to a couple of places trying to find key lime pie but they were all out. We saw that BG had it so we went in. First, it took forever to get the slices to our table despite only a handful of customers. The slices were all different sizes and the whipped cream on 2 of the 3 looked like it was just flung on in a hurry. I can look past the service and presentation if the product is awesome but this was not even key lime pie. It was cheesecake that had a slight lime flavor. Not anything close to being key lime pie. got seated right away. the bayside marketplace is a nice place to go relax and walk around. took a bit to get our drinks which was just water and lemonade. waited a bit to order, was busy when we arrived, it started getting busy once we had put our order in. the server was nice but took her time when coming back to tables for refills we ordered the shrimp sampler with no coconut shrimp sub fried shrimp. 9/10, good crisp to the shrimp, the coconut shrimp here is good because we've had it before just not this time. fries are okay could use less of the seasoning. also ordered calamari 3/10, the calamari was over seasoned with i don't even know what seasoning but it was too the point not enjoyable. had maybe 7 pieces and the rest i just couldn't because it was so salty. side of cedar salad 8/10, can't go wrong with cesar salad but have had better. waited about 30 minutes for the food too which i guess i could understand. at the end when we waiting for the check there was circled tip amount which i didn't mind but why do you have to remind us after we payed that the tip isn't included, we know. just seemed a bit pushy. read more
