This is our second visit to this Bubba Gump location. 10 years ago when we got married, for our honeymoon we cruised out of Miami and went here for dinner the night before the cruise. And that is exactly what we do this time. We have continued to go to Bubba Gump locations all over the US. I ordered the larger portions of the fish and chips. It use to be two large fish fillets, now it was three half sized fillets. It's like they cut the pieces in half long ways. Food was ok. Nothing special. We were seated immediately. Service was fine. They didn't asked if we had been there before. They didn't say anything about the stop Forest sign on the table. Nothing about Forest trivia. All of the extra theming was gone. read more

We used to like this restaurant chain couple years ago. Since we have moved we have not been back, so it has been a couple years.. We came with our family hoping to have a nice lunch. We always order peel and eat shrimp with garlic bread, strawberry salad but nothing was as tasty as it used to be. The garlic bread has no flavor any more, and was pretty dry, not like before.. The only thing was nice is the salad. The peel and eat shrimp hardly had any flavor, so we were not impressed. The hamburgers were not any special with fries either. The whole experience was below average. . Miami has so many great places to eat, we will not be back any more. read more

Portion sizes were good and prices reasonable . We came on a busy Friday night. The service was very hit and miss. There were long waits. We ordered Some drinks, to include a Heineken and for some reason we were given an alcohol free one. We flagged down our server who said she would bring out another one, we waited and waited. Then our food arrived. Then we asked again for the Heineken. It was a hot day and I was embarrassed that my English family guests had to wait so long! The food was average. We sampled their ribs, that came with fries and coleslaw. They were good, but we thought especially for Miami they were a small portion. We felt for the prices that they charged, they were rather expensive. We also tried their chicken fingers, also average, but pleasant. This is establishment in my opinion is a tourist trap, and not for foodies. read more

Food- Delicious! Had the I'm Stuffed Shrimp dinner and the Makers Mark Salmon. The sauce for both were DIVINEEEEEE!!! No seasoning on the salmon but the sauce made up for everything. The shrimp were perfectly prepared and the toast was a nice touch to dip in the sauce at the end of the meal. Overall solid 4/5 (also didn't have breakfast before my flight... so... Idk how that contributed to the score) Drinks- Had a LIT, not the best. Had to send them back bc I didn't want ice nor the cup filled to the top which is exactly what I received after specific instructions. On the second round they got MY concept, less is more. If you're in the area, I'd def. Recommend eating here. There's a local 1 in NY in Times Square that I haven't been to in over a decade and now, I'm re-inspired! Service- 8/10 Lost points bc the manager acted as if I couldn't talk to the bartender bc I had a preferred way of making my drink... strangest thing ever. He fixed them according to him with a hint of tude. All was well with the 2nd round so not sure why I had to go through his (e)motions... Ambiance- the place is huge and family friendly! I am very glad that for my first time at Bubba Gump Shrimp here in Miami that it ended up being a very pleasant experience. I will say that the reason I'm taking the star off is because it was very hot inside and it seemed as if the air wasn't working and the prices for drinks and food, for what you get is decent but a little too much. But I understand that's what you are paying when you are in downtown Miami. We were seated very quickly, there was four of us. I will say that the seating arrangement that they put us in, we were in literally the corner and thought we would be forgotten about because our table was hidden away in the back. Luckily our server came over rather quickly and got her drink orders and brought over water while we waited. I got the blue Hawaiian which came with a red white and blue Shaker that I could take home with me after I finished my meal. It was a very good drink however it was incredibly sweet and tasted as if there was maybe half an ounce of alcohol in it, for $12 it was refreshing but I would not order more than one. I do like the flavor of the rum and the juices all Blended well together. For my meal I decided to get a cheeseburger cooked medium and when it came out it was more on the medium rare side which I didn't complain about because I like having a little bit of red in my meat. However when I am ordering medium I want to make sure that I'm getting medium and not medium rare. The toppings on the burger are very fresh and the cheese melted perfectly on it as well. The fries on the side were seasoned beautifully and had a perfect crunch with every bite I bit into. Overall the meal was good however at $17 for the burger it is a little steep. Overall a nice little first visit to Bubba Gump and I won't be back if I am in the area and in the mood for burger and fries. Prices are generic for Miami especially when you're in a touristy area and the service was pretty good overall! read more

Good afternoon, Me and my family was visiting Bay Side April 1,2026 just before the Heat Game and was looking for something to eat. We stopped at Bubba Gumps and was very excited because I hadn't been downtown in years. My great grandson has a seafood allergy and we asked if it was ok to order Chicken and Fries the waiter suggested we should not do that because they cross contaminate the oil in other words they fry chicken and shrimp or fish in the same oil. Very bothered by this. I really think The Health Department should check them out before they kill someone. I will never return. Thank you read more

this was my first time at a bubba gump, and i've definitely been sleeping on it! i ordered the crab & shrimp boil ($40) and really enjoyed it. the sauce was the perfect blend of flavorful, buttery, and spicy, and i loved the amount of shrimp that was included. i definitely got my protein's worth! however, i did find that although the crab was cooked nicely, the inside lacked flavor and was almost fishy-tasting (not in a good way). also, for the price, i wish there was just a little more food overall, i wasn't 100% full when i left. and i'm a skinny dude lol! but still, loved my first experience at bubba gump. service was quick, my server (who was also the bartender) was the best, she was very friendly and hospitable. i'm definitely coming back to try other dishes! read more

I was thoroughly disappointed in this place. 5 yrs ago I was there with my son and we had a great time. Remembering that, my gf and I went there after our cruise before heading to the hotel. Walking in I was kind of disappointed they had the outside bar doors closed as that's where I wanted to sit but they wanted to keep the cold air in. Why bother having the outdoor bar doors . The service was ok at best. The girl working behind the bar gave the aura that she had no real desire to be there. She did her job but in between you could hear her gossiping with another girl about the staff at this particular location. They really weren't happy. At one point the manager (at least that's what he portrayed himself to be) was super rude to a hostess telling her in front of customers and other staff that she "... simply isn't doing the job properly" and he proceeded to mock her when showing her how to do the job and let people know the location was open. Maybe not have the whole restaurant closed up and the customers will know it's open ‍. The sampler platter was the best part of the visit. The shrimps and tortilla chips and dip and fish nuggets were delicious. read more
