Good Lord. I found the burger of my dreams today. I got the Mac Daddy Burger which comes topped with cheese, brisket, and Mac n Cheese, on a beautiful brioche bun. It was everything I didn't know I was missing in my life. I'm from Texas, we do meat, and I've eaten some damn good burgers in my day, but the Mac Daddy Burger topped them all. I could write another review just like this for the Jalapeno Wantons, and Mac n Cheese egg rolls (amazing mango habanero sauce too). Staff was super attentive, and very nice. Picked up 3 pounds pulled pork on my way home from work for dinner. The pork tasted fishy, my husband and I both noticed it. We couldn't even eat it. We were actually concerned there might be something wrong with it. I called the restaurant and spoke with Lorena (not sure if that's the correct name). She said that the meat is cooked fresh every day, and not near any fish. What I didn't get a chance to say is that maybe the meat was expired before it was cooked. Either way she said she couldn't give me any kind of refund. She did offer store credit, but I doubt we would ever eat there again. read more

This place LITERALLY has the best burgers!! I had the Western Burger with a beyond patty since I'm a vegan. The meat patty had a nice smoky flavor and the BBQ sauce had to be the best BBQ sauce I've ever head. This place is a diamond in the rough in Palm Springs. Will definitely be back. read more

WOW! Cathedral City has another great restaurant! Open for a couple weeks now, and my wife and I have eaten twice here: once for dinner and once for lunch. Loved it both times. Food portions are generous and prices are more than competitive. I really like that. What I like better is that the staff are prompt and courteous. Great environment! There's even a patio outside. There are several TVs for sporting events, and a very good selection of beers. Great happy hour menu! I highly recommend the Loaded Fry Stack and the Mac Daddy Burger. read more

I got the Korean short ribs which everyone agreed were great. I also got the Mac and cheese egg rolls with pulled pork. I thought they were good and the wrapper was especially impressive. We had a chance to eat at this wonderful BBQ place on Ramon Road in Cathedral City. Very nice restaurant and outside eating area. Care has been taken to ensure cleanliness and the interior decorations, tables & chairs all picked out with the customer in mind. We started out with the House Made Pretzel. When it arrived the presentation was spot-on and oh, the pretzel was hot and perfectly made. Soft, cooked in a brick oven, wonderful cheese sauce and I was even asked if I wanted mustard. Being a mustard lover I was delighted. The server was outstanding and didn't rush us and we were reviewing the menu to see what we wanted. We then ordered the brisket. My sides were the jalapeno pinto beans with just the right amount of heat and corn on the cob that had been cooked on the grill. My partner had the brisket as well and had the coleslaw and french fries. Not your average french fries by-the-way. Fluffy and perfectly cooked. Some time goes into making these delectable fingers of potato. The BBQ sauce that accompanied the brisket was perfect. Not too sweet, not too tangy, not too overdone - just right. A side of four different BBQ sauces were placed in front of us and they as well were perfectly done. This will be a return to place for us. The selection of beers, wine and now they have a liquor license which I am sure will add to their business. I am afraid this small place on Ramon will quickly grow. I am glad they have the outside seating because I have a feeling they are going to need it. We are definitely returning. So much more on the menu I want to explore. Good service, average food. Got a half rack of ribs, Mac and cheese and pinto beans with a cornbread side. First off the ribs are baked not smoked. They drown them in sweet bbq sauce. They are tender but lack seasoning, thus the sauce bath. Pinto beans were average, nothing special. Mac and cheese was creamy, pasta was cooked properly and added a topping of chorizo for an extra charge. Cornbread was tough and drowned honey. Not much to want to make me come back. I love ribs! It's my favorite dinner, so I was excited to treat myself delivery of a full rack of baby backs from Bubba's. I've never been there but Yelp had some good reviews. DON'T LISTEN TO REVIEWS!!! They all must be fake because this was the most disgusting meal ever. I ordered sauce on the side & noted that I like more well done ribs with seasoning. The ribs were DEFINITELY BOILED NOT SMOKED!!!! Not a chance in hell these were smoked. They were watery, rubbery, fatty (not "real" fat, but some gelatinous grey excretion that they inject into cheap ribs to make them plump and give the illusion that they are juicy). You can see details in my picture I posted. They also reeked of sewer water - a tell tale sign of boiling crappy low quality meat. They even had a layer of scum all over the top of them. The coleslaw was also watery and tasteless and had apples in it , which we thought was a gross and cheap way to sweeten coke slaw. Par for the course , the baked beans were revolting - I wouldn't give them to my dog. They looked half digested in a crappy little plastic container - all piecemeal little bits swimming in watery liquid that looks like brown dishwater. No taste- and I honestly believe they don't serve swill like this in prison. The meal was delivered in dirty generic white plastic bags (not grocery store quality) AND I got to enjoy a $50 tab for a meal for ONE plus I gave the driver $5. read more

The Mac & Cheese egg rolls were simply too tempting to pass up! The tacos were deeelish but the bomb was the Korean Ribs! In fact, they were SO good that we ordered more to go! But what tops all the good eats was the SUPERB service provided by Tanya! She was so nice and so flexible - even let us know that we just got our order in as it was Happy Hour and alerted us to extra tacos we'd receive in our order. Best barbecue I've ever had! The garlic sidewinder fries were outstanding and a huge hit with my family. They were so good we got more to go even though we were all stuffed. The brisket and the pork tacos were delicious and the tomatillo salsa was perfectly spicy but smartly served on the side so you could add as little or as much as you wanted. Also the beer and wine selection is really impressive for the prices. We can't wait to come back to try out their happy hour it looks awesome. read more

The worst bbq ever! If you ever had Texas or Kansas City bbq then you know what I mean. First, the baby back ribs are spare ribs so they got that wrong. The ribs are cooked in the oven not a bbq pit. There was no smoke ring or color on the ribs. No seasoning or taste. After cooking they just covered the food in sauce. They did not allow the sauce to caramelize. This just hides the poor quality of food. The baked beans taste like it was from a can and again no seasoning. The Mac and cheese again had no flavor. I have had better Mac and cheese from a box. We ordered lemonades and they used the powdered version. So expensive also! I forgot to mention the table and seats we not taken care of. Save your money and go somewhere else. Was not impressed with the pulled pork sandwich. It was a huge amount of meat with cole slaw topped on it. Nice brioche bun. Comes with 2 cucumber slivers on the side. I found the sandwich extremely dry. I used the bottled bbq sauce at the table to help with the taste. Good service. Cool local hangout with good selection of beers.
