Big enough parking lot to accommodate those in our car club headed to the coast. Nice staff. You order at the counter and find your own table. Rustic decor. Lots of seating. Our food didn't take long to be ready for pick up. Really good pork ribs and I loved their BBQ sauces.

Well I dropped a group at the amphitheater to see Chicago, looked sold out to me. I'll park off property and get some dinner. I've been by Bad Bubbas and tonight it's Yelp night. I parked out front on the street, my sprinter is long so... It looked like the dinner rush had settled down, good. Wow the menu is pretty good quite a few choices, combo's, and ala carte'. My first impression was this is not cheep bbq. Now I get it, food costs have sky rocketed especially after you add labor and overhead to the meal. I shop baby back ribs and they run about 7 bucks a pound. I'll wait till they go down as a loss leader and stock my freezer. I say this because it was $20 for four bb rib bones, or $5 a bone Ah...at my rib restaurant in Irvine CA in 1982 sold bb ribs at a 12 bone rack dinner for $10. Now they slow smoke bbq here and thats the real deal BBQ. So if thats your thing this the place for dinner. I ordered the Cobb Salad at $20, smoked chicken and a good portion of bacon. They served my salad in a tin pie pan, probably 8" and certainly not heaping high either. A shallow presentation is skimpy on the greens, Okay. The taste was great and every thing salad wise was real fresh the chunks of chicken small but served hot. The quality is certainly here and I enjoyed my salad but it wasn't a meal for me. The service was order, pay, and pick up and quite friendly...I'm not sure if I'll be back, I just don't see the value for the authentic bbq taste at big city prices. Thanks Bubba foodguy-martin

Really good dining experience. The jail cells are a fun way to have dinner. My kids got a kick out of being "locked up." The food was good, but the prices are high. The location internally is on good condition, but the bridge is in need of repairs.

    A forder of onion rings (I got 4, & it's a full order a forder)

What a waste of time and money. The good was absolutely terrible. It was obvious just looking at the food they cooked us. The smash burger should have been called The Hit by a truck burger. The order of onion rings should have been called the Onion Rings called The No More Than Four Rings. That's how many I got. Another person ordered the TriTip. He reported it to be dry and not very good. His onion rings order was also 4. My other friend had chicken. I found It in the back of my refrigerator the next day uneaten . Need I say I won't be back,?

You asked for a mediocre review, Bubba's Smokehouse in Paso Robles is... fine. If you're in the mood for barbecue and you're in the area, it's an option. The pulled pork was reasonably tender, and the brisket wasn't offensively dry, though it also didn't exactly melt in your mouth. Their sauces are there, doing what sauces do, adding a bit of flavor if you're so inclined. The sides - mac and cheese, coleslaw - were pretty standard. Nothing to write home about, but they filled a space on the plate. Service was efficient enough, got our food without too much fuss. The atmosphere is what you'd expect from a casual barbecue joint. It's not going to blow your mind, but it'll probably satisfy a basic craving for smoked meat without any real surprises, good or bad. It's just Bubba's.

Please get off and after making that left on 13 th St and then Pine park your vehicle and experience a life changing meal at Ziggy's - this is not an exaggeration! You have to get the Korean Fried Cauliflower or KFC drizzled with the OMG gochujang sauce! One bite and game over!! That beautiful bold, spicy n sweet addicting umami flavor! This is from the heart and taste buds of a guy who used to love steak, burgers and could eat 3 double whoppers at BK with large fries and still have room for dessert! We requested more sauce as we were just in love with this item. The very kind gentleman at the counter ( his 21st birthday day is on Tuesday 10/28) gave us a big container. We then turned to the Taquitos with the chipotle and Julio sauces and just closed our eyes and relished every bite. The chef was smiling as he saw us really enjoying this meal. The mushrooms on the burger were divine. The melted cheese was amazing. Our smiles got bigger as we realized we had more of these Korean Fried Cauliflower bites in the untouched Cauli bowl. So extra sauce and even more fun! You can order on the computer outside or walk in and do so at the counter. There are 3 tables with seating for 10 and a couple outside. Loved that NASCAR was in the tele and they had paper and crayons for the kids. They have a dual set up with Sylvester's ( non veg food) also in the same location but they prepare the food in separate stations. Love that! Ziggy's is a must stop. I will look for your 5 star review real soon. Enjoy!

My boss told me of this places a year ago and tonight was the night to check it out. The Sprinter is too big for the parking lot so I parked around the corner on Ysable St. by the coffee place. I walked in and saw the five flat screens showing pre season nfl football. Okay I'm here...A great counter Ashley greeted me and three very large flat screen menus hung above. The Ashley handed me a menu, thank you. I see a brick fired oven just behind the counter. Now I could go into detail about the counter but that would spoil it for you. Beer and wines are featured, good ones too. They pretty much have it all here, really. I ordered a small garden salad tossed with blue cheese, no housemade dressings here. An individual 9" pie, a favorite "the Rustic Carnivore". The next size up was 11". I grabbed a Tropical Iced tea and found a hi-top placed front and center with the screen. I went to the restroom, washed up and my salad was being delivered. My pizza showed up as I was nearly done with the salad oh yea. The Pie was cut in fourths, so it was a folded slice to eat, that works. Very Good, good coverage on toppings, sauce was flavorful and it was oven hot WoW I was impressed, as I was enjoying, the rest of the crowd showed up for pizza. Nice timing foodguy. 6 Star Alert. 6 star Alert. 6 star Alert. 6 star Alert…read more SIX STAR ALERT. SIX STAR ALERT. That right people, I said it.... And 6 times to be exact! Because let me tell you, the Spice of Life in Downtown Paso Robles not only deserves those 6 stars, but they truly EARNED each & every star (plus a bonus star) that I am awarding them for their exceptional hospitality. Now, let me tell you why! While in Paso for my wife's weekend birthday getaway, we had such fun time casually strolling the streets with no where to be. While window shopping, going in and out of the various shops, and just meandering through the downtown area.... We suddenly came across a little business called: The Spice of Life From the outside, it was pretty obvious what we were about to get into... ----Spices----Herbs----Teas---- Hey, they had me at Spices, but the rest is what kept me from leaving there anytime soon. Upon entering this quaint little shop, we were immediately immersed into a world that I Love. Spices, Spices and more Spices!!! Yeah, I'm that guy that at home, not in public of course, that will put a little spice on my hand and lick it off (to test it of course). I know, but I'm just a spice freak, what can I say! Yeah, give me a good lemon pepper, a blended steak seasoning or even a Kansas City Bbq Rub and I'll gladly give it the "Lance Lick of Approval". Yeah, I'm a Spice Man, & I'm not afraid to admit it. And let me tell you, this place has got spices!! Yeah, there are Jars and Jars, & more Jars of the finest, most incredible spices you can dream of. But on Top of the Spices... There are Oils, Vinegars, Teas, Tea Accessories, Herbal Supplements, Books, and More! And with all that shopping... Why not grab a quick bite alongside a freshly brewed coffee or tea at their mini cafe right on the premises. Heck, we did! (We had the Vanilla Chai Tea Latte) And it was Fire! So what makes this place earn a well deserved 6 star review?? It wasn't just their great product. Or even their beautifully prepared drink. It was their hospitality, their graciousness, and the human connection that we felt that went above the typical customer vs. retailer interaction. The lady who assisted us (forgive me but I forget her name) but she might have been maybe the owner or maybe even manager of the place was so kind, helpful and made our experience exceptional, so thank you for that! With so many great gift ideas and things that we needed for our own household, you know we did some damage and got a few things to take back home. So.... If you are a fan of spices like me, love yourself some tea, are looking for some unique, fun gift ideas or just want to enjoy a nice, quaint shop where the service hopefully exceeds your expectations like it did for me... Then take my highly recommended suggestion and get over to the... Spice of Life in Downtown Paso Robles ASAP!!!

It had raisins, red onion, crushed pistachios and the dressing had these subtle mustard seeds that gave it this bright, slightly tangy pop. It's their unique take on a Caesar and I'm officially obsessed. I'm definitely going to try to replicate this at home! My boyfriend ordered the soup and sandwich, and once I tried a spoonful of the soup, I instantly ordered a cup of my own. It was the corn and shishito pepper soup, velvety, a little smoky, and had just the right kick without being overly spicy. So, so good! Their menu changes seasonally, and since they are a true farm-to-table restaurant, the best way to see what's currently offered is to check their website. If you're looking for a perfect lunch spot in Paso, especially before wine tasting, definitely give them a visit. It's charming, delicious, and just feels good to be there.
