We love bubble tea, so why not try it out in Kauai? We ordered the Tiger (Brown Sugar) and the Thai Twist. Not the best looking presentation, but the taste is decently satisfying. I originally was going to have mine with brown sugar boba, but they ran out. Time I ordered was at around 3 pm on a weekday, so i assume the lunch rush got all of it first. They did note if I wanted it, I would have to wait an additional 20 minutes. I ended up adding fruit jelly and picked lillikoi and it mixed well. The Tiger was definitely sweet, definitely tasting like a brown sugar drink with a hint if lillikoi. The Thai Twist, my husband says was just too sugary for his taste (do keep in mind though his favorite was back home and that taste was subtly sweet). You have the option of having it in regular or large. Couple notes: It is right next to the Musubi Truck. They do have parking right behind it. There are also tables available, but it is usually taken up quick and there is only 3 available. Wait time for drinks was about 15-20 minutes. They did warn us about that and stayed true to that time frame. Overall, I recommend! read more

Wanted something sweet after a late lunch and opted for boba. After asking the gal what she'd recommend for drinks, my partner and I ordered the speciality pink drink and avocado drink while my in-laws opted for the bubble ice cream. Our drinks and food came out quickly, and my little niece played with the daughter of the owner while we wait and indulged in our purchases. I enjoyed my pink drink and my in-laws loved their bubble ice cream, but my husband wasn't too impressed with the avocado flavor of his drink. Very very cute little boba truck/shop in this outdoor food area. I love that they are able to make so many different flavors and even have some specialty drinks of their own despite the small storefront. The boba is fairly good and good flavors of the drinks. We got the Ube (good Ube flavor and perfect for the island) and Lava Flow, a fruity concoction that was so pretty (on the sweeter side). The main con I have about the place is that it's fairly slow given that it's just operated by a single individual - something to keep in mind as it's not just a quick stop. Would definitely come back again if in the area though! read more

We came here on a weekday afternoon and got the guava bubble tea. It had a nice flavor and was not too sweet. Our server was also nice and friendly. Our drink came out pretty quickly. I think our only complaint is that the boba was not as soft as we are used to coming from the mainland where there is probably more churn. But the boba here is solid and so is the service. read more

The service overall was not that great, but a huge issue peaked in the 2 times we visited. The only type of boba they had ran out both times. Both times we came near 5 o'clock to grab a sip of boba. At first, they only had boba for one of my drinks, and not enough for the other. The other time, we waited in line for around 20 minutes just to be disappointed with the boba issue once more. Service was great and the area cute and seemingly clean. I was pretty disappointed in the boba drink. The boba was hard and still hot. There was a ton of boba, too bad it was lack luster in flavor. The menu was messy but luckily I always know what I want to order my first time at a new boba shop. Also, the flies were terrible. I had to run away back to my car as soon as I got my drink to escape from them. I'll give the place another try next time I'm in Koloa. We ordered: 1. lychee milk tea with boba 2. decaf mango milk tea with boba, lychee jellies, and aloe vera The lychee milk tea was really light in lychee flavor/sweetness and I can taste the tea really well (tastes like jasmine). The mango was ok, probably wouldn't get it again. Based on the drinks alone, I would have rated this three stars because it was right in the middle for us when it comes to boba but the girl working the shop was really nice and sweet. This place has super cute and simple aesthetic, small but has a wide range of exciting flavors. I felt bad because only one person was manning the whole thing and there was a flood of customers at one time. Therefore the wait was kinda over 20 mjn but but! IT WAS WORTH IT. Sadly I didn't get to try any boba tho as they were out but I had the strawberry matcha with strawberry jellies and i loved it. Perfect balance of flavors and sweetness. Tried also the tiger which was really good too. Didn't have that powdery taste like other boba spots on island. Also the owner was super lovely and helpful. A seriously cute boba truck with tasty drinks! So glad to have stopped here for a boba fix. The first thing that made me excited was seeing three cup size options! Finding a keiki sized cup is a rarity, and I love that this is available because my kids always get a regular size and it's wayyy too much. Keiki size was just right! My 7-year old enjoyed her Unicorn milk tea and thought the colors were pretty. I ordered an almond milk tea (you should too because it was delicious!) You get the choice between black or jasmine tea. Definitely recommend. Had the strawberry matcha with strawberry jelly. You can taste the matcha but it's not too bitter, yet it's not too watery (for my taste), and you can also taste the strawberry. My toddler had strawberry milk tea with strawberry popping boba (asked for no added sugar and it was perfect amount). Very nice gentle strawberries and cream flavor. Sister had milk tea with boba. The boba was perfectly sweet and chewy, no hard pieces, the tea wasn't bitter, but still had a steeped tea taste. Maybe ask for light ice. But besides that, very nice.
