5 stars are NOT enough for the service my family received today. (If I could give 10 I would for Nico's service alone!) We were served by 'Nico The Man' who really should be Nico The Next Manager. In my long history of coming to Buca I have always had a great time, but this was truly next level. The patience, attention to detail and level of care we were given to make my uncle's birthday magical was *unmatched* Some members of my family are a little... high maintenance (to put it gently), and Nico handled the big party with all of the bizarre requests and long conversations with immense grace. I often find myself mortified when my family 'traps' servers for long winded stories, but Nico laughed along and made everyone feel cared for and tended to. Not to mention his great recommendations! We ended up ordering almost everything he suggested and was let down by none of it. When it was time for the birthday celebration we totally forgot they have this MONSTER ice cream and they even brought out extra staff to sing along! We had originally planned to go somewhere else for another one of our bdays next week but now plan on coming back to Buca just for the Nico experience! My husband and I can't here for lunch. We ordered the baked rigatoni and the spaghetti with salad and cheese bread. The food was so good. Very tasty and our server Amanda was fantastic. I understand entirely that Italian food of these portion sizes take time to make; however the wait to eat was horrible. We probably waited 40 minutes for our food. (Not to be sat.. just for clarification) The server was also inattentive to our table, waiting 10 - 15 minutes for drinks. I'm not a particularly picky person, and pretty understandable. Truthfully, I wanted to give this place 2 stars however I thought 3 was justifiable due to the fact that the food was just decent (besides the ravioli - was excellent!) and the ambiance is true to the bucca name. Did you know that for your birthday you can get $20 dollars off your meal? Be sure to get the code after you join the eclub. You also get a gigantic ice cream brownie dessert at the end of the meal, complete with a giant candle and a staff serenade that involves a lot of clapping. This spot is great for sharing and can accommodate parties of all sizes. The servers are super kind and helpful. But be warned: their "small" portions aren't small at all. Knowing we were in for some good carbs, we started off with a chopped antipasti salad. Save some for later when the pastas come. It helps cut through the heavy stuff. The spicy shrimp appetizer was yummy as well. For the main dishes...I have to admit I am bias towards the Frutti di Mare. I've always loved linguine with seafood in red sauce. I was so upset when it was no longer of DoorDash menus but happy to see it still available in store. The Prosciutto Stuffed Chicken was okay. Be sure to get a healthy portion of the pesto sauce. It's what elevates the taste. For the baked rigatoni, we were concerned when the plate came that they accidentally gave us the large portion, only to be told that is the small. The large would have it piled higher. With a party of five, we definitely had leftovers for days. Overall, a warm environment to celebrate a birthday. read more

Great place for large party event. Different types of pastas and they have BOGO promotion now, but you have to tell the server. It's not in the menu. (Secret deals) Portion is so big. Kids love kids menu Mac n cheeses. We only ate half and take home the other half. Server was so super busy because they are short on staff. Waiter is so nice and friendly. But one waitress accidentally spilled the pasta sauce on my sister's phone. She said sorry and bring lots napkins. Over all was a good experience. $20 for two plates of pasta with complimentary breads. Parking is free. Easy to find a parking spot. read more

The location was nice and intimate, the food was hot and tasty, and the service was incredibly attentive. We even had the sweet cannolis for dessert. Our two servers ANDREA and ALDO were especially, nice, professional, efficient, and attentive. They are worthy of commendation for how good they were, making the restaurant look so good, and making our dinning experience exceptional. For that, we are very appreciative. Came last night for a final dinner with our friends from out of the country. The food was excellent, it was delivered to our table piping hot. Our server was named Jannet and she was the kindest, most attentive server we've ever had at Buca. The air in the room we were in had no AC and she so kindly moved us before we melted into a puddle. She was made our last dinner a wonderful ending to their trip. We ordered Alfredo, spaghetti marinara, spicy shrimp, and fried mozzarella. Terrible service by mgr Vet and hostess Faith. The hostess dropped the menus on the floor and she won't clean them. This happened right in front of people including us waiting to be seated. Then she picks them up and didn't wipe them at all.My husband complained to her and all she did was give my husband a dirty look and threw the menus on our table. Very rude people. I sent my complain to the corporate office, but whether they care or not who knows but at least I posted my complain on Nextdoor, Instagram, FB and now on Yelp. People like those 2 don't deserve to have jobs where they have to interact with people. Busca is a nice restaurant, nothing wrong with the food, but If we ever go back we hope there's a new mgr and a more polite hostess. read more

Food is good with good service but expensive! We got the amore for 4 deal which is much better pricing but was very surprised when the meal for 4 only had 3 chicken breasts. Are you supposed to split them? We asked the server and she said it was correct. The ad on the picture clearly shows 4 and the check shows 4 portions. Can a manager please get involved? Came back, after a year, and the food was disappointing again, that's why my rating went down to 4 starts. This time we got the fettuccine Alfredo and added shrimp. It was plenty of food for 2 of us. But the sauce is so underwhelming. To me, it tasted like the canned Alfredo sauce, with very little taste. I will be coming back to try something else. I don't want to give up on them just yet. But so far, the two items that I've tried, disappointing. I do, however, love that they give us a Sundae for our birthday. I will keep coming as long as they send that coupon. The sundae is phenomenal. The brownies are so good, and they add a lot of whipped cream. read more
