Mike came out today on a Sunday! We are having rat problems and he diligently went through the entire house with me to find the trouble spots that should be repaired. He was very honest and said that although he could do the work, our house was in pretty good shape and the work could easily be done by me to save me the money. Even better, he spent over an hour with me and did not even charge me for the inspection. I can tell Mike is an extremely honest guy who does his work with integrity. Mike was very prompt in returning my call, and spent some time on the phone listening to my suspected case of bed bugs. He came over a couple of hours later, and did an inspection, for free, during which he did not find any bed bugs. He did walk around the house and found several fleas however, and suggested we use our contracted provider (Terminix, who have the worst customer service ever). He even gave me instructions to pass on to Terminix, which was very helpful, as they were not going to do as thorough a job had I not known to tell them to spray the entire lawn. Mike offered to come by and spray the house for equal or less than Terminix if we wanted. Very knowledgable, prompt, efficient, and trust worthy. I would strongly recommend him to anyone. read more

Mike is fantastic! I called with a Black Widow and Cockroach problem and let him know I had small children and a dog that play in my yard where these little creatures were found. Mike came out the very next day and made sure to explain everything so I felt comfortable with what he was doing and that the problem would be taken care of. He was very thorough and I just now had to call him, about eighth months later, to come back for a second treatment. Mike was very honest with me and never tried to scare me into signing up for something that wasn't needed. In fact he let me know that the one time spraying would probably take care of the problem for quite some time and that more frequent spraying would probably be overkill for the problem I was having. We called Mike 2 years ago because of a huge flea infestation in our front and back yards. Having called and paid for two other supposed flea experts (Flea Busters was the absolute worst) our problem was not solved and was growing. Mike thoroughly inspected our entire yard and inside of our house, made a plan and executed it, eliminating the problem entirely. He then returned two weeks later to make sure there were no fleas! Mike is very prompt and extremely professional! I called Michael late in the afternoon to make an appointment to check out the rat problem I was having (saw great reviews on Yelp). He was polite and professional and said he could come by in a just a couple hours. After he came, he spent an hour checking for entrance points - he even got up on the roof, and into the garage attic. He was very thorough and finally found the entry point in a pillar out front. Michael then walked me through the process of how to plug the hole - a simple procedure that will cost me about $10. When I asked how much I owed he said, "nothing"! that my house was on his way home and it was no problem. WOW! I didn't know people like this still existed.. am still amazed. So of course I told him I'd write a review on Yelp - least I could do. Oh, and I had a rat problem about 5 years ago.. I called one of the "big" exterminating companies. They came out, charged an arm and a leg, and then talked me into getting a monthly service which I really didn't want and cancelled a year later. All I can say, is the best way to go is local. I contacted Budget Pest Control last November (2013) after rats had gotten into the crawlspace under my house and chewed their way into the heating vents. Mike gave me some suggestions over the phone on what I could do, and I made an appointment for him to come over for an inspection. Mike arrived a few days later for the appointment and inspected the entire outside of the house, as well as inside the house and garage. Then he gave me an estimate for eliminating the rats as well as sealing up areas on the house that rats could get in, and said I could think about it. But I was ready to go, and the price was competitive to what my neighbor paid to do the same thing, so I told him to start. He set up some traps in the crawlspace and came back over the next couple weeks collect the trapped rats. After he was sure all the rats were caught, Mike sealed up the areas outside the house and garage where rats couldn't get in again. I had quite a few holes in the garage I didn't know about! Mike was very knowledgeable about rat problems, answered all my wife's and my questions, and was easy to work with. So far, no more rat invasion! read more

We called several companies on a Saturday morning regarding a pest problem (mice) at a rental property in the South Bay. This company was the only one that answered the phone and was actually able to schedule an appointment later that same day. Mike, the owner of the company, arrived on time and spent about 50 minutes examining all areas of the property (crawl spaces, all areas inside and outside of the house + the garage, including climbing on the roof to check for any openings unknown to us in an attempt to determine the specific problem and discuss solutions. We implemented Mike's solutions and have found this to be effective. We found Mike to be very thorough, refreshingly honest, and we will definitely call him next time we need any pest control work. Mike was able to come to my house the same day I called him. I had a black widow in the garage TV so he helped me with that, and sprayed for spiders afterwards. He did an inspection on my house after and uncovered holes in the basement screens outside the house. Rats can possibly get in through those holes so he educated me about it and repaired them. He also put a rat trap in the crawl space under the house just to make sure rats didn't already get in. As we were talking, in the corner of my eye I saw a hornet fly into my electrical panel. I am so glad I called him, because he found 3 hornet nests there and sprayed for and fixed that problem too. I had no idea they were there until we were talking outside and noticed it...haha. Mike was awesome! For all the work that he did, he charged me the same price he quoted on the phone when we initially discussed my black widow problem! this review is way over due :( mike is a great exterminator. he came to my house to take care of my rat issue. yuck!! im a naturally born city gal and hate to deal with any critters. i rather deal with a burglar than a rodent. so there is no way i was going to set out traps. mike came over and placed traps all over the garage and came back a few times to check on the traps. he also sealed any openings so the rats can stay out of my house. he also took care of my spider issues. i am not afraid of spiders. lol. a year later i had another rat issue. stupid critters made a hole in my roof. mike set out traps and sealed the hole. the only con is that it is hard to reach him. when i have a rodent issue i cannot wait hours or days for him to call back. i dont like rodents and want to eliminate the issue asap. i wish he would get an admin to take and remind him of appointments. other than the one con i think he is great. very professional. comes to house clean. respects the house. comes on time. doesnt rush the job. also very easy on the eyes ;) read more
