My food was delivered with 2 small pieces of fish and no fries. The person who brought the plate was not my waiter and left the table faster than I could process what was missing. We were told there would be a half hour wait and since we were way early for the game (bobblehead day) we took the buzzer and found a place to sit and wait for a table. Pretty sweet place. Our first beers in St. Louis were right here as we took two seats in the bar and watched the place fill up with red jerseys for the upcoming Cardinal game. They sell lots of beers from under the Busch umbrella, I tried some sort of a Kona beer that was light and super refreshing. We went during the week so it wasn't busy. The location is great because it is right in that Baseball Village area. Food was good, and definitely a beer lovers place. In town for a few days for work, and one of our team suggested the Budweiser Brew House. I was a little skeptical, especially after reading quite a few bad reviews. Nice burger and "bar-restaurant" options, and a full list of the InBev (corporate mothership) "craft" beers, like Goose Island. We all ordered the same burger - I don't remember what they called this one, but it had bacon and caramelized onions - and we all enjoyed them. These were what I consider classic, good quality, "chain" burgers. Not "gourmet" burgers, but good burgers. Funny enough, these burgers were MUCH better than the ones we had a a local place a few days ago that I also reviewed--a place that has "Hamburger" in the name. The fries were good. Presentation was good. As with every single burger place in the world (it seems), you do need to ask for a side of mayonnaise, so avoid the wait and do that when you order. Just a tip. The Brew House is part of the sports complex here, so if I were to come here during a home game, I would expect to have an entirely different experience. I suspect that's the reason for some of the very negative Yelp reviews. In fact, I would not try to eat here during a home game without expecting rushed service and food. Just came to have dinner and drinks. The door was good and great beer. Being a baseball fan, I fell in love with this entire area. I can't get over how close it is to the stadium. I saw there is an upper deck that you can sit at, drink and watch the game. Since it's winter and off season it's closed to the public. I talked to our waiter Matt and he told us it was closed but he would talk to the manager and see if he could take us up there. This place was super cool! We were in town for a Cardinal's game and sat at the back bar close to the stadium, but still inside. The server/bartender (a redhead, didn't get her name) KILLED it. When we first got there, her corner and the bar were pretty slow, but the closer we got to game time it started to get pretty packed. I ate here this past winter after working all day outside. Had a fresh Cobb salad which was very good. No preservative on the lettuce, and the dressings are made in house. You can taste a huge difference. And the gooey butter cake is a great end to the meal. So I came back in September to see if it was as good as I remembered it. And you know what? It is. So much to take in! When the idea of a Budweiser Brew House coming to Ballpark Village was introduced, I was a little pensive. I know that many resent the whole In-Bev thing, but I was going to try this place with an open mind. In the end, some of my concerns did become reality, but I still think that I will like this place. Budweiser Brew House is enormous! From the main dining area to the countless bars to the stage to the third floor outdoor deck, this venue might have something for every Cardinal fan. I started in the main dining area and wandered the complex after lunch, and I was awfully impressed with the design and space. I came in right at eleven. Patrons didn't waste time getting down to the Brew House, having trouble just finding a spot at the back bar. The bartender was nice, leading me through the beer menu and the different options that they have in size: taster, pint, stein, and growler. I ordered a pint and my meal, then did some serious people watching. I was sitting next to the waiter station, so I got to her the workers talk. Not even an hour into the shift, someone had already walked out on her tables, saying that she wasn't making any money. The waiter tickets weren't printing out for the bartenders, so waiters had to continually call out their drink orders to the bartender. Needless to say, the kinks had not been worked out. I ordered the Farm House Burger, a cheeseburgers with a friend egg and bacon. It was amazing! Despite a little wait, the burger came out to my specified temperature, and everything was fresh. I look forward to exploring the menu further. The beer prices are a little ridiculous. AB products start at five dollars for a pint, and anything else is more expensive. I asked the bartender about Happy Hour, and he said that the management hadn't finalized anything yet on discounts or times. I understood, being the first day, but I was still anxious to know the best times to have a drink there. When this idea was introduced, I was given the impression that we would see more local beers, but BBH lacked the local flare. Few Saint Louis breweries were featured on the taps, and the ones that were available were only at the main bar. I truly hope that they expand the selection to include ALL local breweries. It seems essential. I am definitely a fan, but some things need to be changed quickly. Celebrate the creative of our local breweries! Well we have been here a few times now, and it is always a good choice when trying to fnd something to eat at Ballpark Village. We mostly come on game days so the whole place is usually pretty crowded, so good luck finding a table in the main part of BPV. Brew house is also usually pretty crowded when we go, but it is fairly large, so we typically don't have long to wait for a seat. Obviously, they have a good selection of Bud family beers. The food is also pretty good, and the usual sports bar food. Burgers, sandwiches, seafood, pasta, apps, etc.. We really like the lobster bearnaise fries. The burgers are really good, especially the farmers breakfast burger which has bacon and an egg on it. IF you are looking for a good place to watch a game or grab a drink, this is a great place. I came here on a company (more of just my department though) luncheon with probably around 20 people in our party. Keep in mind that if you are going here with a big party, they do require each person to spend a certain minimum amount. The parking were located conveniently next to the restaurant and you get to park for free when you come in for lunch as long as you get your parking ticket validated. The food was pretty good. When we got there, our group had already placed some appetizer orders that we ended up sharing. Out of the 4 different types of appetizers, I tried two which were the pretzels and cheese and the shrimp ceviche (I think). The pretzel was soft and warm and the cheese had some unique flavor but a little on the bland side. For my main course, I ordered some Cajun seared mahi which was well-seasoned. It is a little difficult deciding how the service really was since we had a couple people helping our big group but both ladies were very prompt with the service, and they were friendly as well. First, we were sat at a table where not everyone could sit down, some liquid covered out seats and table was no where close to being thoroughly wiped down.
