Went there last weekend an hour before they closed I placed a to-go order and only ordered a 10 pc boneless wings with Wild sauce & some ranch + Garlic Parm on the side. I leave to get something to drink at a nearby gas station and return to collect my food. I get back to my room at the Hyatt to find that they separated my order in half, putting sauce only on half the wings and leaving the other half plain. They also didn't include any Garlic Parm, just an excessive amount of ranch. They were at about 16:30 and the waitress brought back two vouchers for our next meal. I guess they really mean 15 minutes or less! The food was hot and spicy. I got the mini tacos and the Mr got a buffalito and fries. Nice, friendly, and quick service got us in, fed, and out in under 45 minutes. I can't tell you how many times I have been here, but unfortunately this place has gone downhill fast over the last 5 years or so. This time was one of the worst. We were waiting about 40 min for our wings before our waitress informed us that she lost the order. A few minutes later she comes back with our platter of wings stating they were in boxes at the to go to counter. And boy they sure look like they had been sitting in boxes for a while- the sauce was dried up and the wings were cold. The other issue is they dumped them all into a pile with no stickers so we couldn't tell spicy from non spicy apart. When we asked our waitress about it she said "use your fingers to taste around". Ooook wow. Let's stick all our dirty fingers in our food that we are sharing. My 3 year old son got one of his honey bbq wings mixed up with the Nashville sauce that has the same color and that was not a good scene. This is nothing special, but does satisfy my wing cravings every once in a while. I always prefer coming in on Tuesdays when they do the Traditional Tuesday deal (buy one snack or small wings, get one of the same size free). They are a bit busier on Tuesdays during dinner time, but the most I've ever waited for a table was around 10 minutes. Now, service does fluctuate a lot here. It really depends on who you get as your server, because I've had amazing 10/10 service, but also the worst service where I was ready to never come back. They need to do something about the training to make sure that their service is much more consistent. I can't really complain about the food because the traditional wings I get are always delicious and filled with sauce. I prefer coming to this location over the S. State Street location because they've never messed up the wings here. The drink selection is decent and if you're into the whole sports bar vibe, BWW's got it down. I'm sad to say that my son and his group of friends had a horrific night at this restaurant. All due to a waitress named Alex. She not only did not provide excellent customer service (visiting their table only twice) but it took them 45 minutes to receive their food and then, upon receiving her tip, she came back to the table and demanded more because "you have to give me at least 10%! Those are the rules!" My son and his friends are respectful, well behaved kids. I have taught my son how important it is to tip servers/delivery people as they make less than minimum wage. I myself have delivered pizzas and even though I've always been a great tipper, I'm even better after that experience. However, you get what you earn. This girl is lucky she got anything at all. To top it off, a girl in the party left her work clothes behind and when she came back to retrieve them, found them in the garbage covered in food. BWW doesn't have a lost and found? The only saving grace was Charlie, the manager. He apologized profusely and gave out gift certificates. When I called at 145am, after my son told me what happened, he, again, was very apologetic. He told me had even dug the clothes out of the garbage himself. I told him that I had lived in this area for 20 years and never heard of something so unacceptable at a restaurant. He assured me the girl would face disciplinary action and that the general manager would be informed of the waitress' behavior. I can only say, I hope he follows through, as I will be calling to make sure. My family (myself, wife & 15 month old) went to the restaurant as usual, ordered the foods & a drink. As the first dish was served to the table, we started feeding our son we prepared from home (boiled broccoli, a boiled egg, and a bit of rice). In the middle of the feed, waiting for the second dish to be served, the waitress dropped by saying "No outside food is allowed in the restaurant." I asked, "What do you suggest that we do?" She responded, "We have kid's menu you can order." I responded, "He's 15 month old and not ready for meals from kid's menu." She responded, "Then you can pack your stuff and leave." I responded, "Then please cancel all the foods ordered." She responded, "No, you still need to pay for the foods." I demanded to talk to the manager. As the waitress was leaving to get her manger, she said, "Nothing is going to change. The manager will tell you the same thing." A few minutes later, a person wearing a baggy khaki pants and a green t-shirt dropped by introducing himself as the manager. I started explaining what happened until the manager responded "Yeah, no outside foods. It's the policy. I can waive the drink and you can take the food to go." This wasn't the first visit to the restaurant with my family and not the first time feeding my son but the first time wrongfully treated. I was shocked how rude the waitress and unprofessional the manager was. If the policy states NO OUTSIDE FOODS which includes baby foods, then it must mean that no employees understand the policy until this incident. It's a Buffalo Wild Wings and like most Buffalo Wild Wings there are certain things you can count on: the wings you like at the BDubs in Charlotte are going to taste like the same ones here, there's trivia (TRIVIAAAAAAAAAH!), annoying college kids, fairly quick service, bathrooms that have a slight sketchiness about them, especially late on weekend evenings... This location is pretty standard although can be tricky to get to if you've never been/don't know the area. And while I'm not a huge fan of chains I do like that they have a pretty good beer selection and 24 hour trivia (the electronic kind). I like trivia. Probably too much. I prefer the BDubs downtown (State Street and... Liberty? No, Washington? I think Washington) but if they are packed or if it's a home game day this is a suitable second choice. The only real gripe I have is that it seems to have a standard layer of grime. Like it could use a wipe down, sweeping, vacuuming besides just after close. There are always crumbs and sticky spots and things on the floor... I don't know. Just a little grungy. Like they don't really care because they know they're the only BDubs on this side of town and people who are going to go are going to go anyway. read more

No thanks. On 2 occasions, we've ordered take out for game days. As other reviewers have mentioned, check, double check and triple check your order before you leave. We were missing food both times, that we were charged for and paid for, but didn't discover until we got home the first time. The second time, I checked in the parking lot before leaving - and had to go back in and wait for my missing food while the rest of the food got cold. No Bueno. I waited as she took other people's orders, answered the phone, and checked people in. Eventually she disappeared into the restaurant. By the time I got my order, it was 45 minutes past my scheduled pickup, and the food was cooled when it came out. A seated patron who arrived at the same time could have been halfway into their meal by this point. The lobby was filled with others grumbling about the delays in their orders. The quality of the food was nothing to complain about, but I got the impression that either the workflow was disorganized, or that the place was understaffed, or both. In case you missed it, this Buffalo Wild Wings took over the old "Damon's Grill" location on State St. right across from Briarwood Mall... it's actually the second location in Ann Arbor after the one up the road. Obviously as part of the BW3 chain, this location has the same exact food options as every other BW3 location- once you've been to one, you've been to them all. However, the atmosphere is definitely much better than the old Damon's used to be. That place was a wreck. This place has been fully modernized and updated, has a giant outdoor patio with lots of TV's (even outside!) and the full bar with standard beer and any standard drink you could ever want. As for the food, when I came in for lunch the past two times, there's plenty of good food options- the burger is mediocre yes, but the fried chicken sandwich was great- plus you could have any wing sauce be the actual sauce on the fried chicken sandwich- my Asian Zing sauced- sandwich was good, satisfying, and the fries were hot and fresh. They also have a 15 minute express lunch option, probably to cater to all the office staff of the office buildings all around this place. The last bonus when comparing this location to the other Ann Arbor location is that this one has plenty of parking, whereas if you go to the one that's deep on campus, i'm sure this location is a lot easier to get to if you are in a car (obviously if you're a U-M student, then you can probably walk to the Washington St. location much easier than getting to this one). Food is consistent with all other locations, and I am definitely adding it to my lunch rotation. read more
