The last few times we have visited Buffalo Wild Wings, we have found it to be SO busy that our service is lacking. Most recently, my husband ordered a beer which didn't come with the rest of our drinks as our waitress forgot about it. He had to flag her down to ask when it was coming. Our wings came out barely covered in sauce, to the extend that I had to ask for a side of sauce so I could dip them which also didn't come. I had to flag the waitress down to remind her for the sauce. Additionally we had ordered an appetizer which didn't come out early. Rather it came out at the same time as our wings. I have found this type of lackluster service to be the case the last several times we have gone. And for $65 for our food, we are going to start going elsewhere. Booth seating along the walls. Prompt service. There's a little iPad type device on the table. I was hoping to be able to order and check out here but all I could see is a wide selection of games and the offer to become a rewards member. Ordered the Chicken wings lunch: There is a variety of sauces to choose from. Interestingly there is an additional choice of a dry rub instead of sauces. We ordered bourbon honey mustard. This sauce was subtle and not spicy at all. Served with choice of ranch or blue cheese dipping sauce for the carrot and celery sticks. I'd say both were fresh (another Yelper said theirs had been sitting out for a while). Caesar salad was OK. The chicken wings were very lightly coated with the sauce. Without the sauce, the chicken meat was bland. The sauce was not enough for me to keep licking my fingers. With each mouthful, I didn't think "I just have to have more....!". I really wanted these wings to be mind blowing and flavorful. After all, this is what they do! Did not order any beer, but interestingly, they state they are "the first restaurant in the country to create our own nucleated glasses...which is a technical way of saying your beer'll be bubblier". The subject of nucleated vs. non-nucleated glassware seems to have spurred some debate amongst the beer aficionados. Some bloggers have stated it appears a beer in a nucleated glass is just about flat if you take up-to-an-hour. But back to the food itself. She talked so quiet- no one could hear her. She tossed my ID across the table, made us pass drinks down instead of passing us our own drinks. Spent a lot of money on high end restaurants and bars this weekend in Anacortes, all of which were bad experiences so this visit was refreshing. We took a break from shopping and got the black cherry mojito and the long island ice tea with garlic mushrooms. Each one tasted great. I recommend the mojito. It starts with the marachino cherry flavor ending with mint but my husband thought it was a light licorice. It was a nice linger. The mushrooms were fried perfectly golden crisp and served at a perfect temp; not soggy or burning. My drink was forgot about but quickly recovered. The only downfall is that the sports casting on the large screens were a lot of loud noise pollution making it hard to relax from shopping and relieving a headache. So, not so relaxing. 3 strikes yer out! This place is HORRIBLE! We visited for the first time when they just opened. It wasn't great, but we thought they were just getting the kinks worked out. We tried again a few months after that and it was still horrible. At that point we decided we'd probably never go back. Cut to today when our daughter said she'd never been there and wanted to give it a try. Pros: Greeted quickly by the server. Cons: Placed an order for two appetizers. The pretzels came out dry, hard, and couldn't be bitten into by our daughter with her braces. The cheese sticks were cold and didn't stretch like cheese sticks generally do. Both appetizers cost nearly $8 a piece. The order is placed. When it arrives the delivery person knocked over our daughter's drink. He placed a bunch of napkins down, but it didn't come close to mopping up the mess. He did not offer to get her a refill. My husband insisted upon a refill, which was brought, but without a straw. I wanted a refill, but the server was helping a table of 20 (while the rest of the place was pretty dead), and he never noted a refill was needed. I finally asked another person and fetched my own straw. My daughter's burger was so overdone that she wouldn't eat it. She ended up leaving the whole thing and ate her fries instead. I ordered a side of mac and cheese...which was not brought out with the meal. When it was pointed out to the server it did arrive about 5 minutes later...and fresh out of the microwave. The noodles were like eating rubber erasers. My chips did not come with salsa like advertised. The tortillas that held my wraps was so dry that I dumped the contents of the wrap and tossed the tortilla to the side. I'd never been to a Buffalo Wild Wings before, so I was excited to come to the new restaurant at Bellis Fair. We came early on a week night to sample the wings. The restaurant is much bigger than I expected...particularly for a restaurant at the Mall. There are tons of TVs, this is a sports bar, after all. The staff were very friendly, those who greeted us were still working out the kinks, but still took good care of us. Our server seemed new and a bit tentative. He tried hard to take good care of us. We ordered wings (no surprise) and they came pretty quick. We tried a medium sauce to start, they have quite a few. Our waiter referred a captain to our table, who helped us sample some different sauces. We tried 4 different sauces (Caribbean Jerk, Honey BBQ, Jammin Jalapeño, and Thai Curry) and a new cherry BBQ sauce was offered. The Caribbean Jerk was the favorite at our table, a perfect and flavorful medium sauce. We ordered a snack size of wings first (we had a welcome postcard from Buffalo for a free snack size). Then we ordered some mozzarella sticks to have next and then a large order of wings to share. My son is a wings fan and said that they were really good, crisp on the outside (the first wings we had were seasoned with a rub rather than a sauce) and hot and flavorful on the inside. The large order came next with handy stickers on the paper labeling each of the four sauces we had chosen. The wings were very good...they didn't last long. We asked the runner who brought the wings for more napkins. She never returned. We asked our waiter about the mozzarella sticks, he stammered a bit and said the ordered had gotten lost "back there". We also asked for more napkins. He brought the mozzarella sticks (a paltry 5 sticks) and...we had to ask for napkins, again. At a wings place...really? 3 requests for more napkins? This is a sports bar, it's loud with TVs everywhere you look. But it's clean, well-staffed, and hoppin'. The first time I went to this location, I had a great experience. Our server, I believe her name was Emily, was phenomenal. The wait was a little long, but it was a Friday night at a new restaurant. Not to mention she was constantly checking in/apologizing for the wait. It's been a really long time since I've had that good of service. Not to mention their wings are delicious! Then for a company dinner just a few nights later, we decided to check the place out again. There was going to be 16 of us, and since they don't take reservations, our HR called ahead to let them know that we would be in around 6 o'clock. One member of our party arrived at 5:30 to get our name on the list. He was told it would be a 15-20 minute wait. The rest of us staggered in between then and 6. We checked in with the hostess around 6:15 and she said it would still be a few minutes. At 6:45, we finally left and went somewhere else for dinner. I get they're busy and its a new place, so I don't mind waiting. But tables of up to 8 were getting seated before us when they would come in 20-40 minutes after us. Something about that just doesn't exactly scream the best service to me. I would go back for the food if I had a small party, but honestly there are so many places I would rather spend my money. They workers were nice and the manager was even nicer. They worker accidentally made a mistake and ordered my food way earlier than my friends. I wasn't too bummed because it came out really quick. The manager gave those wings to me for free because he wanted me to eat the same time as my friends so rang up another order and told me to eat those wings as an appetizer. The past three times we've gone here it's been a disappointment. For the price we pay, the quality of the cocktail and food is not satisfactory. We ordered drinks first and I'm not sure if it's regulated but they were very very weak for almost 10$ each, and we don't even drink often. Then the chef cooked our food wrong which was okay, accidents happen and naked tenders probably aren't ordered often. But when we got them our appetizer wasn't with it and we never got it. We went the first time when our television went out and we wanted to watch the Hawks game. That was both the most exhilarating and loud experience I have ever had watching a game. It's super enthusiastic and everybody keeps it pretty clean, but there are about 40 television screens in case you are wanting to watch something other than the Hawks game. Only to yet get no food and when I asked told me you will just have to be patient. I'm not one to argue usually but this was a meal we bought and paid for and the restaurant wouldn't even refund me. Now I have left after being told my food wasn't even started at 10:00 pm due to a mix up in the kitchen. When I asked for a refund again I was told they do not give refunds and walked away from me calling me profound names under their breath. I feel like I was being very polite besides the rude service and now wasted over an hour plus of my time and no food to show for it.
