Ordered wings online for pickup, clearly specified dipping sauces (blue cheese and ranch), and even paid for an extra side of a different sauce flavor. Guess it was my fault for not checking the bag, but they literally put nothing inside besides the wings. Literally nothing. Just confused because this is the standard that comes with all of their food. I literally only order from them for their sauces. Additionally, the wings suck, too. They're cold and chewy. Great casual place. The hostess is friendly and the waitress is so helpful. The entire staff works hard to make sure everyone is satisfied. It was crowded for a Wednesday night. They are all so friendly and always smiling. We decided to order the sampler as an appetizer. We chose buffalo wings, mozzarella sticks and nachos. It was a large portion and perfect. I placed online order for in-store pickup. Customer service was okay, but my order was packaged in a manner that didn't allow for me to inspect that my order was correct (long plastic sticker was placed over the bag which necessitates tearing the bag open). Upon arriving home, and tearing the bags open, I was disappointed to discover that half the order was in fact incorrect. Just a quick update--this Buffalo Wild Wings has started to redeem themselves for me in my recent visits. At my last visit yesterday, I had the best service I've ever received from this location (and I've been here a ton). On top of that, I had some great wings. These days, I find their Buffalo and Chipotle BBQ dry rub to both be great. The Chipotle BBQ has got this really nice sweetness to it--in a way that reminds me of Desert Heat. The Buffalo dry rub is pretty straight-up classic--a nice buffalo heat. Both can be a bit salty, but I don't really mind that. If more visits to BWW are like the one I had yesterday, I'll be feeling better and better about coming back here more often again. read more

This review is strictly on the food. We got takeout last night since my in-laws are not going to come in to a noisy place like this. It also doesn't help that we are not sports fans rooting for the teams people who go here are rooting for. I imagine if we were, it would be a different experienced. I'd seen signs for this place & thought the menu might be good so we finally decided to try it yesterday. That turned out to be a mistake. I got chicken fingers, fries and had some chips and salsa along with a parmesan garlic boneless wing. My stomach ended up killing me afterwards but I think this may be due to the fact that it can't handle tons of grease, I normally eat at home and the food at most chain places makes us ill. However, today we decided to order out for first time out since the pandemic was declared in N.Y. After deciding on Buffalo Wild wings, we ordered. There were times where this restaurant was delightful and peaceful, but those are over. Also, high schoolers are the only people who go there, so you can enjoy teenagers spitting on you every 5 seconds! If you like that, just wait! A large range of taps, $6 for 23oz. Blue Points, Blue Moons, Stella's, etc. Not bad, but not worth revisiting. This meeting place for friends, my group of seven sat quickly at 9:30PM. I counted 20 staff on duty. We each were able to order separate flavors in groups of six. Tuesday night advertises 40c.pear wings, and large coors beers were 3.75. Only sports on TV's there is one in every periphery no matter which direction your head is turned. The immediate feeling was like visiting a bar from out of state and it was a bit cramped. No real booths to sit in. The room had tables freestanding with small chairs (I'm very brawny). Between them there was about two and a half foot clearance you needed to share space with the neighboring table. A table with a children's highchair blocked the isle way. The food took a while to come out. Average 12 wings per person times seven people = 84 total wings. Then divide these by orders of six and ten or so flavors and you get 14 different plates. I love BWW but this Centereach location is absolutely the worst! They are dirty, with rude lazy staff, and the "cooks" are clearly either drunk or stoned! I placed an order a chicken wrap (they forgot to put chicken in it) traditional wings that were so burned the meat was gone (I thought it was honestly a joke at first!) And all the wrong sides. This was a To- go order. When I spoke to the 12 year old Manager he acted like a complete jerk while showing off infront of his female coworkers. I was told "Corporate told them to not put as much chicken in their wraps" when I said ok but they legit forgot to add chicken he laughed! I was shocked and honestly just gave up bc I was pissed and didn't feel like arguing. Even though we didn't get to watch the fight, we DEFINITELY had a greatttt spanking time! I ordered the street tacos with the Caribbean jerk sauce, tasted so good that I ordered it a second time but this time with their new Sahara sauce, not too hot, not too spicy, just right! While I am a huge fan of organic local faire, I have to admit frequenting B'Dubs (that's what either the cool kids, or the marketing manipulators want you to casually refer to it as) on a monthly basis. I can't help it. I have a problem. My name is Dan, and I'm a sauceaholic. You could serve me cat turds and if they came with a choice of a dozen sauces or rubs (Fresh Step dry rub?) I would empty that litter box faster than the time your toddler got into it (that's a lesson for you new parents out there... really) I always get the boneless wings. Yes, I've seen the pink-slime-video. It's an addiction, remember? If you like your stuff hot, their max heat level should actually suffice (unlike some other places) and even the mango habanero (my preferred poison) will have you blowing your nose and wishing their blue-cheese dressing actually contained blue cheese in it to quench the burn. I tend to mix in real blue cheese with it when I get home (because I'm a snob). The Caribbean jerk is also flavorful, though not even approaching hot. As far as the other food goes, I pretty much have no idea how it is. I've gotten the fries once, and would again since they were the thin shoestring kind, and crispy. But what addict goes to their dealer and gets variety? I'm here for one thing, and unlike SOME people I might have known, they're never 'out' of what I need - and I don't have to worry about what I say over the phone. Oh yeah, order over the phone in advance. I've been doing this regularly and I don't think they've EVER messed up an order (for that, I leave a tip at takeout. Management take notice if you read this - they're doing a good job at a sometimes-hectic place). On football Sundays, the wait could be 30mins but since it's Long Island, it'll probably take you that to drive there anyway. I always get to-go, but the bar area has a pretty nice selection of beers on tap, TONS of TV's, and that trivia game that's so damn easy it makes even me feel smart. I've used the bathroom on occasion, and wish they'd throw a paper-towel dispenser in there. The door to exit is a 'pull' and they only have a hot-air-dryer for your hands, putting all that aseptic technique you've utilized at the mercy of everyone else who's used the bathroom when you touch that handle. Why am I anal about this? Well, if I am eating wings on the bone, I'm NOT using a damn fork, and I like to lick my fingers clean of the sauce - being the classy gentleman I am. ORDERING TIP: They use the term "wet" to denote extra sauce. You can use that term to seem like a real insider! (The enthusiasm there is entirely self-mockingly sarcastic.) Really mixed reviews, and I think there's truth in everything. With a place like this, either you're a fan, or you're not. If you're into a "local" feel, then the chain-elements of BWW will turn you off. If you "live by your wings", then maybe you'll find these a little on the small side. But here's what I like about the place: 1) Bartender. I don't know him/her, and wouldn't recognize them if I saw them. I don't sit at the bar. But my drinks come from there, and they are SOLID pours. I like to drink J&Gs, and I get my money's worth, every time. These are not weak drinks. I don't order fancy stuff off the drinks menu, but my wife does, and she enjoys them. 2) Sauces. The flavors are good, varied enough to be interesting, but not so many that you don't know what to order. I really like the dry-rub options too - makes for a nice crispy wing. Try the Desert Heat - very tasty. 3) Nachos... Now - these are not "fancy" nachos, but I have a love/hate relationship with this app... Many places use much better "quality" toppings, but they never put enough on, and you're left with a mound of dry chips. What I like about the ones here, is that there's stuff on 'em beginning to end, and you're not hunting around for something to put on the chip. Tasty, satisfying, and priced decently. 4) Kid Friendly - It's loud enough that if you have a few kids with you (and they're not being insane brats), you won't disturb people near you, and there's plenty on the menu that they will like to eat (cheese sticks, chicken fingers, etc). They also really enjoy the NTN trivia games (truth is, my wife and I kinda have fun with that too :) Plenty of TVs so whatever game you want to watch, you can catch. Service is usually attentive and quite good (though there are the occasional brain-dead servers, but you get anywhere you go these days) So make up your own mind, but IMHO, these are good, tasty, enjoyable wings in a setting that's lively and entertaining. If you want fairly standard wings for fairly standard prices or a random assortment of other bar food, this is your place. You can get a snack (5 wings) small (10 wings) large (15 wings) or party (20 wings) in the sauce of your choice. You can also do half and half if you want.
