Places an order to be ready at 7:50pm arrived at the location at 8:00 they told me it was almost ready . Food came out 8:05 not bad. I checked my order and they made the wrong hamburger. He apologized and said he would make a new one and would take 6 minutes . No problem I'll wait . 6 minutes passed and he brings me the same hamburger all they did was add the lettuce , tomato and pickles . The same BBQ sauce was on the burger and the bun. So he said let me get you another one . He goes back and cleans off the onion tries to clean the BBQ and put a different bun on the hamburger. You can still see and smell the BBQ on the Hamburger . To be honest, I'm not even sure where to begin with this review. The meal I had was hands down the worst meal I've had in months. I'm scratching my head wondering how this place manages to stay open. I ordered the Bird Dawg, which I've had at the Rockville location before which was actually pretty good and similar to its photos. But this time it was just a hot dog with some grilled onions on top. We may FINALLY have a large hang out restaurant and happy hour bar in the center of Gaithersburg! There have been a lot of attempts, but other than Dogfish (which is great but get's pretty crowded) everything has failed. Have been here a couple times now and the food service continues to be SLOW. The servers are friendly, but don't expect to go for lunch and expect to be in/out within 45minutes to an hour...it is likely to take that long to get your food the first time, and longer when they bring what you actually ordered. Huge beer selection and the large menu you can read about on the chain website. The wings are very good. They come in an array of styles with specials every day of the week. I like the hotter sauces and they are actually very hot! Which is rare. Hot, flavorful and edible. I like the Mango Habanero. This is a total redesign of the Chevy's location. Completely opened up with a large bar area, DOZENs of televisions and DOZENs of friendly energetic staff waiting to help you out. It is a chain, but the one up in Urbana has become a great neighborhood hangout. Hopefully this one doesn't get too ghetto as there are some sketchy neighborhoods in the vicinity. With the new L.A. Fitness in the same mall which draws a crowd, I hope this does okay. Nice to have choices. read more

We called and placed a carry out order on a Thursday evening around 8:30 PM and were told it would be about 20 minutes till the food was ready. I still could not find anyone to help so I went back to wait up front. Finally, a server comes over and ask us what we're waiting for, when we said a carry out order they said "just a few more minutes" and walked away without even having asked what our name was or what we ordered. So how would they know when it would be ready? 30 minutes goes by and we are still sitting there, at this point some patrons had left and servers had walked by us multiple times but no one ever acknowledged us. Finally we asked to speak to the manager who was actually out front smoking a cigarette and have yet to acknowledge us either. When he came back in I asked what the holdup was and if we can have a refund because we just wanted to leave. He absolutely refused to refund us our money, laughted in our faces, and two minutes later magically brought the food from the kitchen. The food was okay, BWW is not my go to for quality food, but I'll go if my friends want to go, and it can be a fun environment, but this experience has made me feel significantly more hesitant to visiting in the future. The waiter took our orders (4 of us in our party), the food was taking a while and by the time it came out, he only came out with our appetizer and only two of the four orders. He then asked us something along the lines of "Alright you guys are all set, Do you guys need anything else?".... Two people at the table had no food in front of them. We thought he was going to mention our orders were coming right up, but he proceeded to ask us what we specifically ordered, so that he could put in the order again. The two people that did not receive their food had to wait even longer to get their food and at that point, it did not even feel worth waiting for. In the midst of all of this, it was hard getting water, so I walked to the bar twice just to get a refill of water. We decided to continue to be patient and we ended up ordering dessert. He comes out with the dessert and brags/jokes that this one was special because he put it together himself. We realize that he did not make it correctly because there were no cheesecake bites included (which it states on the menu to be topped with cheesecake bites). He apologized and said we were correct and he brought out the cheesecake bites separately. We couldn't wait to leave, but we couldn't even find him to get our check. This was another thing that we had to wait a while for. All in all, he was a friendly guy, but not the best server. We were constantly looking around for him and he was not attentive to serving us. The only reason why this location is getting a 5 starts from me is because Gina is one of the best waitresses we've ever encountered. I live in Rockville and I would travel to Gaithersburg just to be served by her. She's so bubbly, full of personality, and a very good listener that actually seems like she cares. One of our pet peeves at places is when people don't refill or ask to refill our cups... she did it without even asking. Our food is hot, delicious, and definitely worth the money. My first three star review - cringing as I write this because this is my first and I hate to do this. However I have only taken off a star for each very important thing. Number one, when I walked in with my friend we were not greeted for a while. We sort of stood there awkwardly as multiple people who worked there walked by us. Finally someone came over and let us know there's a self seating section now (that's new to us despite us having come here before). We were not walked over so we had to wing it and hoped that the table we sat at was still apart of the self seating area. Worked out! Number two, our water came in these plastic cups which BWW always provides with a straw. This time the cups had this cream colored liquid on the rim of it. The restroom also wasn't at its best, but i'm sure it was because it was a busy day. The food, the largest disappointment I've experienced at a Buffalo Wild Wings. The appetizer was the highlight, the Wings were disappointing beyond all measure. Either over sauced, or under sauced depending on which flavor it was. My orange chicken flavored ones were horrible. My girlfriend's teriyaki tasted off, it was just unpleasant. I'll end on the cleanliness. We walked in and were greeted with chairs that clearly needed to be replaced. Chipping, messy, and just a disaster. Number one the service is terrible. I understand it's a sports bar and it gets busy but it's like they don't even try. Our plates and empty glasses were left in our table for an extensive amount of time along with our used napkins. They didn't worry about removing those things and giving us more space and never once asked if we needed anything. The only person that did this was one of the managers much later. When we got there yesterday my wife and I met two other people that had already been served and the waiter took a long time to come over/acknowledge us then he finally came over and asked me what I wanted and I told him I wanted a particular beer I saw on the menu and he said he had to check to make then when he returned to tell me they had it he didn't wait to see if I wanted anything else (food wise) or ask my wife what she wanted to drink/have. It was a really poor experience. One is the worst I've ever experienced at a BWW. I also asked for a regular beer and he gave me the larger version. Did that to my friend also. He forgot multiple things, utensils, condiments and the limes we asked for. If he was so overwhelmed he should have asked for help or a manager to assist. Then a different server towards the end of our stay said she was taking over and by that time we were getting ready to leave anyway. We asked for separate checks and they accommodated that and most of us had our cards/cash ready to go except for 1 because he was into watching the game and the new server asked if he was ready to close out and I thought that was a little rude because if he was he would have had his payment ready when she came by. She could have given him a little bit more time or when he said "no I'm not" she could have said something like "ok, no problem I'll come back" but instead she just waited there at the table for him to pull our his wallet. I've never been anywhere where they have done that. If I don't have to I will not be visiting this place again. Very poor customer service. Also when you walk in there's a certain scent like old carpet that hasn't been cleaned in a while which is not pleasant. Came here after they reopened for COVID dine-in. They have outdoor seating and the weather was nice so we sat outside. We were the only ones on the patio but there were several tables inside which was somewhat surprising, considering. Gotta be surrounded by the TV screens, I guess. They have digital menus that appear when you scan the QR code. Nice forethought instead of disposable menus . Ordered fried pickles and some bone-in wings. On Tuesdays they're BOGO free so we only ordered a 10 count (their 2nd smallest order size IIRC). Really appreciate how they sell them in counts now instead of sizes! Always hated that. I prefer dry rubs over sauces and they have a variety of both to choose from here. We got the dry buffalo and lemon pepper. They came out much faster than usual but I assume business is slow because of the pandemic. I've been here before many times and the service is sometimes spotty but I've never had my order wrong and they're always pleasant so whatever. I'm not at Morton's and I know that. I've read some of the other reviews and don't know why people have such high expectations about bar food and cheap beer; I just don't get it. Usually when I go to Buffalo Wild Wings, I give them a okay rating! However, I am only giving them a 2 because it made me give a star and because the manager saved the day. My family went yesterday and Lataysia or Laytavia (on the receipt) was our server and she was horrible!! I have never received such bad service in my life. We ordered drinks from the bar , water, appetizers, 2 adult meals and a kids meal. She forgot the bar drinks, the waters, the kids meal was wrong, and she forgot part of the adult meal even after being reminded. My child's food took forever, came out wrong,sent back and took forever to come out again. I had to contact the manager, which I found out was a new manager (Peter) he fixed all of the servers mistakes, down-to bringing us napkins! Comes back.. they dont have nacho chips. The wings were dry overcooked and overbreaded. Nothing good about them. They charged me for celery.. and ranch.. at a wing place.. I mean.. really? .. and the jerk sauce was just gross and hot. Shame.. I love jerk chicken. The buffalo sauce was good.. but the wings were so dry and overbreaded that no sauce could save them.. I didn't bother to finish either. Hers was an equally unimpressive, typical fried flavorless shrimp and little slices of fried potato.. the flavor came from the ketchup and cocktail sauce. She didnt bother to finish hers either. We gave up. Asked for the check.. another adventure began. Charged for drinks we didnt get.. had to take the nachos we never got off.. Stopped in at 5pm on Wednesday 4/17/19 for a beer. Walked into the bar area, there were 4 people at the bar and we sat at a bar table. Service staff was in slow motion like it was a 5am shift! After 7 minutes of sitting and watching the bartenders talk, I asked if I need to order at the bar. Then I was told the server would be right there. The server showed up and took our order for 2 draft beers....again we wait for the bartenders to chat, pour the foam off and final after 14 minutes we had a beer! Never waited that long for a beer, especially in a place that had 6 customers, 2 bartenders and a waitress. So ask yourself.....would I go there??? Our food is always brought out quick and our beer is always full. If you like craft beer like I do they have a scent selection for a chain place as well. 1. Ambiance: It is a lively sports bar with an abundance of TVs all around. The restaurant is quite spacious with ample tables and seatings. It is a great place to watch any sports on TV while enjoying your meal with friends/family. 2. Food: I had ordered the size large, which consisted of 20 wings. They ran out of my favorite flavor, mango habanero, so I had asked for 10 wings to be immersed in hot garlic flavor and the other 10 wings to be immersed in asian zing flavor. The wings were a great size! I am used to restaurants with tiny wings so I was shocked when I saw the size of these wings. They're definitely bigger than most restaurants. The wings were delicious and I highly recommend these two flavors. 3. Service: The waitress was really nice and helpful. I forgot to take my receipt, so I am unable to recall the name of the waitress. She was very apologetic when she had informed me that the restaurant ran out of tater tots and mango habanero flavor. She did a great job with our table and was very attentive. I do have to say that the food took awhile to come out. Granted, our order was quite large as there were five of us, but there were not a lot of diners at the restaurant. I would reduce a star for the delay in food delivery, but the waitress did great so this review really is 4.5 stars. I have read other reviews that the food took forever to come out as well, so I hope that BWW will try to fix that problem as it is a great restaurant. 4. Costs: 20 wings equate to $21.29 so it is a little over $1 for each wing. It is reasonable for wings, but if you would like a discount, boneless wings are priced at $0.60 on Monday and Thursday. On Tuesday, the wings are $0.60 each. 5. Overall Experience: I thought my experience was good, and would be even better if the food delivery was faster. I had a great time with great company. The food was delicious and the service was amazing. Side Notes: Go on Monday/Thursday (boneless wings special at $0.60/each), Wednesday (kids meal at a special rate), or Tuesday (traditional wings special at $0.60/each) for discounted rates.
