This is my first time here and was so disappointed. We were seated and it took 15 minutes for the server to come great us. We ordered drinks and appetizers. When our drinks were ready (15 minures later) we ordered our meal. Our appetizers and meal came out at the same time. I ordered another drink. It takes A LOT for me to feel the need to write a negative review. The service is miserable, and it is obvious that nobody wants to be working there. As a server and/or manager you should make eye contact with all of the guests to assure that they are taken care of. Rather than my boyfriend & I having to wait 10 minutes for silverware because we couldn't get anybody's attention. To the owner- if you want this place to last...you have to create a better work environment for the employees in order for them to WANT to work. Retrain your staff to scan their tables, have time standards for greets rather than 15 minutes, and find managers that want to improve things. I'm not even going to threaten me not returning, you have enough of those. Just make an effort to improve! read more

Just left this place and will probably not be back anytime soon. Went for lunch and ordered their quick lunch - it's out in 15 minutes or it's free, guaranteed. They even put a little timer at our table. The place was empty so we figured there was no way it would be over 15 for our quick lunches. We were wrong. The reason for the negative review is not for the food or our server but the management. We pointed out to our server that the time was up and she acknowledged and walked away. The bills came and the server said my manager took 15% off but if you want to complain they will adjust it more. The manager should have come over and addressed our table or acknowledged something. Don't advertise something if you can't follow through. Why do we have to complain for something you guarantee? read more

Two stars for the food, which was good (we ordered the Parmesan garlic wings, teriyaki wings, mini corn dogs, and some potato wedges). Everything else was meh...and of course I'll tell you why. But first, some tips to management (if they read these sort of things). 1. Make sure people know about quicker seating in different areas i.e. the patio. 2. Turn down the music a tad. Yes, it might be for the atmosphere, but it needs to be enjoyable, not deafening. 3. Stop by the tables yourself sometime. This can turn someone's bad experience around. Now for the rant. We came during dinner, and the girl at the door told us it would be a 35 minute wait, which wasn't bad. However she did not inform us if we chose the patio that we could be seated right away. She gave us a pager and we walked around the side, at which point we discovered there was plenty of patio seating. After we were paged and seated, the hostess left us with our menu's and we did not see another person for about 15 minutes, at which point our waitress introduced herself and asked about drinks. Luckily we ordered, because we waited 35-40 minutes for our food as we watched 2 other parties in our area that had been seated after us get their food and finish it before we received ours. Once we had our food, a waitress came to our table and slammed some beers that we did not order down and then asked if they were ours. The place was chaotic and nobody knew what they were doing. After we ate and sat around longer waiting for our waitress, to ask her for the check, she finally came and left before we could ask for a box. Needless to say, we left with a headache and disappointment. Despite all the hype about the other locations, this Buffalo Wild Wings did not live up to expectations. read more

Usually me and my friends will go to the one in Oxnard, but the service there is horrible, managers are rude and not just to the customers, but the staff as well. So we decided to come out to the Simi Valley location expecting it to be different. It was almost like the staff from Oxnard worked at this location as well. The manager in shift Jason was a prick to say the least. We waited over 45 mins to get our food and some of us even an hour. When Jason walked over and asked how everything was, we let him know. Maybe just a bad experience, but for NBA Finals is almost inexcusable. Understaffed on the most important game. We got seated an hour after putting our name in to a table that was assigned no server. Took initiative to actually get served half an hour later (what if one of us never spoke up?). Justin our server was just flirting it up with a bunch of 16 year old girls and wasting time, then he comes up and gives us more sass than a New York Italian grandma and throws in a little cuss word here and there that was spicier than the Blazin' Wings. Granted he was working since noon and it was about 7 o'clock by the time we pulled him to us and threatened to be fired (warranted?). The attitude was almost enough to punch him. Food was just as cold as the service. Management's fault. I hope they take this to heart. I gave you two stars just so people wouldn't think it was a rage review. My boyfriend and I are in the restaurant as I am writing this. I couldn't even wait because I am so disappointed in the service. This is not a ding to the food because it was awesome, but our waiter, Pablo, made it a poor experience. We were sitting for 10 min before he took our order, which was okay because he apologized saying he got stuck in the back, which we thought was understandable because it's a pretty busy night. But then every time we saw him he was standing around watching the ducks/kings game. We asked him for a refill and the second he left our table he stood off to the side and watched the game. I then saw him walk to the drink machine so I thought he was getting our drink but didn't. He stood further back to watch the game. Then came over 5 min later and apologized for the wait. We just got the bill after 10 min of being done eating and he apologized for the 3rd time saying he got tied up in the back, even though we can see him watching the tv. Oh My Goodness... BEST Night ever!!! Took hubby to dinner for his birthday with our 9 year old grandson. What a wonderful night. Our waitress, (her name was Genna) was spectacular. She was so fun and friendly. She kept our drinks full and made sure we were well taken care of all night. We had a wonderful girl come by early and do a "sauce taste test", so that we could order our wings with our favorite sauce. She too was so much fun. These ladies really made our evening. Whenever we asked for anything, it was always "of course" with a big smile. And oh my goodness the FOOD.. out of this world. We ordered a platter of "tradional wings", and "boneless wings" as well. Our waitress asked us if we wanted any of the "Happy Hour" tastes. My grandson begged us to bring him back tomorrow. You can not go wrong here. If you want to have a great and fun experience go here.. We have not had this much fun, had such great food, and this good of service since I can not remember. Great job BWW. By far the worst service I've ever had. I downloaded yelp for the first time just to write this. First of all this is my second time and last time ever going there, both times the service was TERRIBLE! The staff sucks!! They crowd you in to these tiny spaces and you wait an hour to get your food and practically have to drag down your waiter for more water even tho our ENTIRE table has been out of water for at least an hour. Not to mention the waiter gave us all separate checks, then charged the whole tab on my card and then told me it was my fault becauE I didn't tell him! He gave us seperatw checks each with a seperatw bill for our own food and then said I made the mistake. So then I call the manager because my money did not go back to my card because it was a weekend and the manager said "well I'm happy you will be getting your money back" like a smart ass. I don't have my money back, I have to wait 3 more days because of the holiday. She didn't even offer a discount or anything to try to make me want to come back! She was absolutely terrible. I'm giving this a one star for the hostess who commented on my scarf. My sister and a group of our friends came in on Sunday night and after waiting for an hour to sit (with only 9 of us) we were refused service. After we were finally seated, they sent one of the older male waiters to take our drinks since we wanted a beer sample. After he took our order for drinks, we found our actual waitress (after 15min of not seeing her and still waiting for our drinks) for her to tell us we needed to speak to the manager. The manager then came to our table and proceeded to tell us that we were being refused service because someone in our party smelt like marijuana. After one of our party goers decided to leave since he was the one who smelt like weed, the manager still continued to refuse to serve us. Walked in on a Sunday evening (Jan 24), was handed a buzzer, was told the wait was 30 minutes. We thought great, we can tell the kids to roam the mall and we'll saddle up to the bar and have a drink. We found a couple stools to sit at the bar and ordered drinks. We had been sitting there for five minutes when the bartender kicked us off of the bar so that two people that wanted to order food could sit down. We thought it was strange because having been around bars in restaurants for 25 years of my drinking age existence, I was just booted from a restaurant bar for the first time. So there we stood, my party of four in the middle of a walkway holding our drinks in a restaurant lit up like a walmart. And then we stood there some more, and more, and more while dodging servers...for an hour waiting for a table. I started feeling bad because at the urging of those in my party, they warned me beforehand that this particular Buffalo Wild Wings location had given them crappy service before. At one point the manager even walked by and apologized that we were kicked off the bar. But she didn't offer to do anything about it. After over an hour, we finally got our table. I am a frequent customer but after this experience I do not see myself ever visiting this location again. I arrived at the Simi Valley location around 7 pm. The man who helped us asked if we wanted to sit in the bar or a table. I took a look at the bar and did not see any tables immediately so I requested a table. The man responded that we had to sit in the bar in the corner. No problem. He walked us to a high top table in the bar. After we were seated I looked at the menu for a few minutes, decided and began chatting with my girlfriend. After a while I noticed that nobody had been to our table to greet us yet. Again, no problem. I work in customer service and I get it, sometimes things happen. We continued to talk for another 10 minutes with no sign of any server even looking at our table. With numerous failed attempts to flag down the server who was helping tables around us I began to become annoyed with the service in the bar. After not even being greeted for 35 minutes, we got up and went back to the front. I told the same man that I would like to be seated at a table in the dining room because we had been waiting for over 30 minutes. He looked visibly annoyed and grabbed two menus and proceeded to walk us back to the same bar table he had originally put us at. I thought he was joking but when I asked why he only replied that he would find our server. I did not come here by choice all 3 times. And all 3 times the food was awful and the service was equally awful. I give it one star for having tablets for the kids to play on and keep them occupied. But the food is overpriced, and sad. I ordered their "new" BBQ chicken sandwich for $10.99, and when it arrived it was the saddest looking thing I've ever seen! Thin piece of unseasoned chicken, flimsy thin bacon, mounds of shredded lettuce, and a cold bun probably pulled out of a plastic bag. Bland bland bland! It was easily a $3.99 chicken sandwich. Kids meals came out and one had the wrong side. My boys said the hamburgers at the Habit are way better. And they forgot the drink. My girlfriend ordered a mediterranean salad with balsamic dressing and no pita chips. Instead they forgot the hummus and kept on the pita chips. I think this was because the waitress was writing down the order on her notepad and was scribbling words everywhere in different places. The service here absolutely sucks!! If you plan on going with a party of 6 or more expect to wait more than an hour. I had a party of 10 and waited 2 hours to get a table because the idiot hostess couldn't put two tables together. Twice they skipped over my party because they accidently sat someone else at the 2nd table. The hostess Morgyn is very rude! She couldn't tell me a wait time because she couldn't figure out how long it would take to put two tables together. Since when did it become rocket science to push two tables together. I complained to the manager twice and she was no help at all. I get the place is new and if it had been the first day or first week okay fine but its been a couple weeks now and they are still lost. They have all these kids working there and none of them know what the hell they are doing. Morgyn is the worst hostess...she is very rude and has a bad ass attitude. She told me for 30 mins they were cleaning the table, 30 mins to wipe a table down REALLY! Then she says " okay he's done just go sit down" really could you be more rude! I will never go back to this location again, we would have left but we had already been waiting over an hour. being a new place in Simi its very busy so you just have to accept the wait times for now. you cant hold that against them. I did like the food however the service was horrid. Many may expect the service not to be good for about the first 6 months but it just wasn't worth it. my wife ordered a non spicy bloody Mary. guy said no problem. comes back with a standard SPICY drink. so we ask for some regular tomato juice to mix in so its not so spicy that's when he tells he they only have the one mix and they don't have plain tomato juice. note this is a full bar.. sort of. I could go on and on like about how I got a large tray of wings to split and when I asked for silverware and a napkin he dropped a few small bar napkins and walked away.. tons of wings and a few small square bar napkins.. that's someone that doesn't know what he's serving and how to help. i also could tell you about how we ordered fries and when the wings showed up we asked the guy where the fries were he said "i believe they will show up".. the didnt. the manager fixed everything when we grabbed him and told him what was going on. so i do believe they will one day get that all corrected. however I will wait till summer to go back. read more
