Stopped here on a Friday night on the way home after my cousin stood us up at Midway Airport. He was flying from Cleveland and somehow ended up in Minneapolis. WTF? Anyway I digress. For a place that is named after the mighty buffalo wing, they were just OK. First off, they came out room temperature. I liked that they had a huge selection of wing sauces, but the medium buffalo sauce was much hotter than expected. Buffalo Wild Wings is a restaurant located in Willowbrook. Walking into this restaurant, I noticed the mass amount of tv's hanging on the wall and around the outside of the dining area. In the back of the restaurant, there is a high top bar, with even more tv's. This place is all about sports, and any sports game going on during the time of a visit will be on one of the many tv's. They have a variety of food selection to choose from, including wings, boneless wings, burgers, etc. I ordered 15 boneless honey barbeque wings, and they were phenomenal. The service was just ok, and the food was out within 10 minutes of us ordering. However after I received my food, the waitress never came back to our table. The restaurant is a very family friendly kind of restaurant. There are many tv's around the place, they have tablets that have games for little kids to play on, and a few arcade games in the corner if any kids are into that stuff. The staff keeps the restaurant very clean and organized. The wait time was basically non existent the last time I went, however during the time when there's a big game, the place is packed, where every single seat is taken in the place. The food can be a little pricey when ordering a lot of wings, however, they make up for it for the other cheap entrees. It was around $15 for an order of boneless wings. Overall, I felt that the place had a nice friendly atmosphere with a friendly staff, with very good food, and just ok service. I enjoyed being able to watch the NBA playoffs while I ate. read more

The wings have had very little sauce and both orders were missing an item that was ordered. I thought I'd give this place a second chance as they significantly messed up my last years Super Bowl party order and sadly, that was still the case this year. I placed and PAID in advance for a large order for Super Bowl 3x days in advance. The transaction already cleared on my credit card statement. Went in to pick up the order at my scheduled time of 4:40 and after waiting in a ridiculous line of 30 minutes just to pick up my prepaid food, they informed that I was one of many orders that they lost. I asked showed them both my confirmation from the order, the receipt, and even pulled up my Visa app to show the payment hit my account the day earlier but they didn't care. They did inform me that I could wait ANOTHER 1 hour and they would fill my order then. REALLY?? This was an order for a party and I've already spent way more time here than this should have taken. I asked for a receipted refund since I didn't have the time to wait around and had to figure out another plan to feed my guest who were already at my house. The GM, Jenny Truj... (Willowbrook, IL location) then proceed to tell me they were too busy and absolutely would not process any refunds then and would only do so later that night , but felt that giving me her business card was sufficient. So...you lost my order, yet kept my money, and refused to issue me a refund? Completely unethical and unprofessional. So, now I had to spend another 30 minutes on the phone with my credit card company disputing this charge...all after spending over an hour here for nothing while I had a party going on at my house that I missed out on due to their incompetence. Oh, I would also like to note that they decided to turn off their phone service on this same day so that you purposely couldn't get through and that same GM listed above both confirmed and acknowledged this. This particular location doesn't blow me away (Bollingbrook is better). Part of it is the set up - it is as if the room was purposefully designed to be as obnoxiously loud as possible. Part of it is also the clientele - tons and tons of high school kids mixed in with families coming over from Hinsdale. Most of the employees have been pretty nice. Their cooks definitely don't know how to cook a black bean burger. They must be used to cooking actual meat and have no idea how a non-meat patty should look.
