A little disappointed in our last visit here. First of all they stopped letting you play the handheld trivia game from the main dining area. You have to sit in the bar area to play the trivia game. In the past when you ordered wings you would get paper containers to discard your wings and wet wipes to clean your hands after the mess from the wings. You don't get either anymore. So you have a pile of bones on your plate and you use a dozen napkins trying to clean your hands. The wings were also undercooked, the skins were soft and rubbery tasting. I had a great expierwnce with my server Jacky And it was our first time trying this restaurant and I couldn't have asked for nothing more! I have never been so connected with a server the way we felt and our food came out so quick when it seemed so busy but our food was hot and tasted so good. Lately, this place has become more and more like a Chuck E. Cheese than a place for adults to hang out and watch a game or play trivia. The ads you see on television for BWW showing guys watching the game are false advertising. If they really told the truth, they would show families with young children sitting in the bar area. That's right, children in the bar area. Came here because it is one of my daughters favorite places. It was a bit of a disappointment. First, we were informed that they were short staffed in the kitchen so expect a wait. That was not so bad. The pretzel appetizer was very good. But the service was lacking, as I had to resort to waving my empty glass around before another waitress (not our own) noticed it and got us refills. When we did get our food, my fries were lukewarm at best. But the thing that really steamed me was that I signed our charge slip for $59.00 but they put the charge through as $64.01. Tried ordering online, but the menu was down, so I just drove to the store and waited for my order. Unfortunately they don't tell you when your order is ready. The high school girl who took my order told me they might find me to let me know when the order was ready (which didn't happen). This place just opened yesterday. I heard from an employee that a friend of her son was the first in line at the Plainfield grand opening and he won wings for a year. I'm not 18 anymore. But with the economy the way it is, I might just have to camp out one night. We were seated right away. But 10 minutes to 12 and the place was mobbed. I had the 12 traditional with the Asian Zing sauce and ranch. I do think that I should have kicked it up a notch to the Wild sauce. But I had an appointment after this. I think one of the keys to success for Buffalo Wild Wings is that their drink menu is pretty spectacular. And if you sit close to the bar area, you're well attended to and not many problems occur. In the four years I've frequented this location close to my work, I have found this to be the case. If you're anywhere away from the bar, you're sunk. What does that have to do with this? Well, simple- we were NOWHERE near the bar area. it was a weekend and the bar was full of people cheering on college basketball, and we wanted to talk, so we asked for a table in the dining area. Mistake No One belongs to us. Next time, we'll eat near the bar, and likely, no issues. Which sucks for those not near the bar. This past Saturday my coworker and I went there for lunch. She had a taste for the Garden Crasher (I call it "The Wedding Crasher" for no apparent reason), as she eats healthy and was craving the hummus. She ordered that. She ordered a drink and was informed that the items used to make the drink were NOT available, so she had to settle for a drink that she had gotten before. She was polite, but clearly disappointed. Our server was a great guy, in fact, our displeasure with many facets of the visit was obvious, and he kept apologizing. He was a sweet kid, but he can't fix stupid. Now...what's stupid, you ask? Having an item like "The Garden Crasher" on the menu for those who want to eat semi-healthy in a place that's not known for "healthy eating", and then changing the items in the dish to reflect unhealthy instead!. The Crasher arrived and my friend was distraught- the Naan bread (pita bread, same difference) that used to grace the dish is no longer. It's been replaced by what appeared to be a greasy, fried pile of tortilla chips. Hey, man, if you want that, you go to Pepe's! She was very displeased. It didn't look appetizing to me at all! Why bother? Something she'll never be able to order again. The nice server was taken aback. He did, to his credit, warn us that the menu had been redone, some things had been removed, and some had been "re-grooved". I say they need to re-groove their few healthy staples to stay...well, healthy. What a concept! The pleasant server told us to email the website and complain, and my friend mentioned that we'd do a review, etc. He helpfully mentioned that they had comment cards and he thought that the "pita" issue was valid. He asked if she wanted a comment card; she said yes. The dude comes back a little while later and looks embarrassed. He then informs us that they are "out of comment cards". Well... if you've just redone your menu and re-jazzed the old items, wouldn't you want to get the opinions of your customer base on how well the new items and menu are working out? I think it's kind of common sense, from a marketing and customer service standpoint. I think we got our drinks free, because he probably felt bad. But really, what else could the kid do? He was a great server, and you can't beat the hell out of the server with their serving tray because some fucknut turns it unhealthy to save money. Pretty sure that was my last sojourn with the B-Dubs. Several years ago, my former coworker and I went for lunch and were a minute past 2pm. We informed her we wanted the lunch special, which ends at 2pm. She informed us we were "too late". My friend, no shrinking violet despite her height, says "Are you fucking kidding me?" I think we ended up being allowed to get the deal because it was obvious she was pissed. That wasn't a mute point- we were in the lobby for 3 whole minutes before they found us a seat in an almost empty B-Dubs on a Wednesday afternoon- had we been seated immediately, the server wouldn't have been such a hardass about it, and we wouldn't have had a problem. There have been other issues with the service and dependent upon where you are seated. Not quite sure how that works out, but it's ridiculous. Not only that, but on a weekend when it's almost 60 out, why the hell wouldn't you have the outdoor area open? Too many chances at this location, time to find a new place to eat wings. Which is a damn shame, because their wings are pretty spectacular. So- if you don't care about service or healthy/unhealthy food options, go here. If you have to get back to work because you're on lunch break and your server appears to be playing "Tie The Apron" with their male coworker and forgetting to bring your check, go elsewhere. read more

Used to frequent this location and figured out there are only 1 or 2 waitresses worth having which don't mess up your order or leave you waiting to order for 1 hour and 38 minutes in an empty restautant. They earned that 1 star As for the food, they suck at tossing their wings and you always end up with just the tip wet, and the rest underwhelming dry. Went there 5 minutes ago, we all came in perfect fine got our seats,drinks, and orders quickly. We were respectable, when we got our order we were confused until one server told us there was a deal. Then we got our food and our server comes up asking "who called me" and we said we didn't and the server leaves swearing at us under her breath. After that she never came back asking how we were or if we needed refills but she was socializing with other customers. She would always look at us and give us a dirty look.Out of no where she gives us our checks and expects us to tip. Unfortunately we did. Here's the deal, stick with the wings and the beer at Buffalo Wild Wings. I have had several things here and the food is downright awful. My husband said the ribs were good but I don't eat ribs. Anything that is fried I'm sure is fine but definitely straight off the Sysco truck. They have awesome deals and great food! the food is always ready when we get there and even if I just walk in to order they get the food out quickly....with that being said sometimes the sauce seems to be all over the box and inside the bag. Customer service was ok. Food was ok. Most of the wings had seasoned flavors instead of sauce and is not evenly seasoned on each wing. Some had no flavor at all while others were over spiced. Buffalo wild wings has been my favorite restaurant ever since I was young, I would always order buffalo wild wings for special ocassions. Which is why I hate to see the amazing food being brought down by the terrible service. I ordered 20 wings for the Super Bowl. I planned to call buffalo wild wings and place my order 2 hours before I wanted them (knowing they would be busy with the Super Bowl). However no one answered the phone, I decided I would just order online and pick it up. 2 hours later I went to pick up the wings. When I went to the counter they said that they have no clue when my wings would be ready. I was shook. I asked the manager is it going to be an hour wait? 30 min? Just looking for some type of time frame. She went on to tell me that the food will not be ready and that I will get a refund in 5 days. As I said earlier, I love buffalo wild wings, but for anyone looking to order their food on a big game, or big fight, I would look to find a different restaurant. After waiting Thirty minutes for carry out the wings and fries were COLD and the fries tasted like they had been sitting for a hours. I DO NOT understand how after waiting so long for the food in the first place...that the food would not be fresh. How in the world do I receive dead COLD food? This location seems to be better than most, and they always try to offer samples and the managers are usually seen walking around unlike most BWWs. I wish they would bring back the legs they used to have for 50 cents on Wednesdays.... Though I did notice the wings have gotten a lot bigger when I was last in. Great service here on 8/16. Taylor was awesome. Did a great job offering beer and sauce samples. I'd go here more often but it's a little loud for us since the theme of b dubs is sensory overload. Let alone half the time they get one of our orders wrong here. The drinks are over priced for what you get. Ordered 11 wings for $12 not including a tip, so in total that's almost $15 for small wings that couldn't nourish an Ethiopian child that drinks nothing but parasitic water. I don't like anything about this place! My daughter and I went to have an early dinner at about 3:40pm. We love Buffalowwild wings and are regullars to dine and carry out at Bollingbrook,il. location. last night on Sunday at 9.37 we placed an order at Willowbrook location and it took more then 25 minutes for a small carry out of 12 wings, casadilla and onion rings.. The ordertaker even started arguing it was only 12 minutes. Then I had to show her the time order was taken on my receipt and the current time on the clock. It wan't even busy. I don't mind waiting. But we had to remind the ordertaker who was chatting away from her work area with a friend and forgot to ring our buzzer. When I asked about the delay, she got defensive and instead of being understanding, this kid offered if I'd like to talk to manager.
