My kids and I eat here quite often, due to the fact that my daughter takes ballet right around the corner. It's not my typical type of food, and it's not Chez Francois, so I'd give four stars for the food. However, the staff and manager here are absolutely WONDERFUL!!! And that's why I'm giving 5 stars. And the food is REALLY good for wings, burgers, salads, etc. The staff are so attentive and gracious. The manager never fails to stop by the table and make sure everything is okay. The servers are all fantastic. They notice that we come here often, and they make sure they attend to us. That's what really makes a customer return. They recognize our loyalty and treat us well. Oh, I'm not a sports nut, but they have tons of TVs playing all the games. And I forgot the beer. I don't drink a lot of beer, but I know the good companies. They have Old Ox, Flying Dog, Bell's, Hellbender..... They have wifi, and this has been very helpful to us when the kids need to do homework before ballet class. And they always assure us that it's okay to linger to finish an assignment. We NEVER feel rushed. Ever. And I sometimes worry about "holding a table." My son is a Type 1 Diabetic. Not only do they allow us to bring in Sprite Zero, but they've memorized what he orders. AND, there was one time they forgot to bring ketchup with his meal after he had injected his insulin. They gave us a coupon for 10 free wings. Just for forgetting the ketchup. My son loves the wings, and I am quite partial to the buffalo chicken salad. Check them out. I work near this restaurant and decided to give it a try and to forgo my trusty ledos pizza next door. How this was a mistake. Problem 1. It took forever for our food to arrive. Seeing as tho we were after the lunch rush I was confused as to why it took so long. Problem 2. I didn't read the yelp reviews. I always yelp before i try new places but how could you go wrong with chicken? I soon became aware. Problem 3 I ordered the chicken tenders. While the sauce was great the cake they call batter around my chicken was horrible. My boyfriend literally pulled all the batter off each tender before eating it. We came here the other day and loved it. We ordered the medium wings and they were great. The grilled buffalo chicken wrap was also delicious, and enormous. Seriously, you will not leave hungry. My quest for great wings in the Reston area brought me here, after all, Wings are right there in the name!. I again dragged my daughter (3 yo) on this quest and her only complaint was the loud noise kept her from enjoying her iphone movie. This location seems pretty small inside and we had to wait about 20 minutes for a table. The place was packed, with what looked like high schoolers (based on the lack of beer at the tables and sketchy facial hair). Speaking of beer, they had a very nive selection of beer on tap. As for the food, I had wings with butter garlic sauce and a side of "chips". The wings were pretty good, but alas not great. My little companion had the kids nuggets and fries. She enjoyed them both. I would go back here and try more of the many wing flavors and beers but sadly, my wing-quest continues. read more

This used to be my favorite wing spot in Reston until management switched up. I decided to give it another shot after about a year. Went here on a Saturday at around 7:30 pm and the place is empty, there's one server on staff and the manager just hangs around doing nothing. Service straight up sucked. I ordered 10 of the regular wings, which were clearly not cooked to order, dry, and minuscule. I asked if they were cooked to order and was straight up lied to. My friend got the Boneless wings which were incredibly dry, salty, and soggy. Don't eat here unless it's the last restaurant on the earth. read more

The server was at least pleasant but I ordered fried chicken sandwich and fries, and received grilled chicken sandwich and chips. My friend ordered unsweetened tea and got sweetened. I've been coming to this location over the last couple of years, and I haven't had a bad experience so far. The food is always great, and the service is excellent every time. All wing sauces I've tried are fantastic so far, and I'm looking forward to trying more. The best thing about Buffalo Wing Factory is that they're definitely consistent among all their restaurants. I've recently reviewed their Ashburn location, and I continually find that the food and service is the same at all of their locations. That's fairly rare for other restaurant chains in the area, as they typically fail to remain consistent. Keep up the good work! read more

This is one of my favorite spots in Reston--especially if you want something outside of Reston Town Center. This place has a very friendly staff and the wings are awesome. They also have very good wing specials on the weekdays. They have the BEST BONELESS WINGS I've ever tasted--100% real meat and not that processed crap that you usually find in boneless wings. I ask for Laura every time I go because she provides such good service. This has become my go-to spot during football season--TVs all around and every game on tap. read more

I ordered a grilled chicken Caesar salad from the carry out menu. First of all, it was made with iceberg lettuce instead of Romain (which was odd) and the lettuce old and brown. There was only a small amount of chicken included and it was overcooked and dry. read more

I've been coming to this location since August 2014. I've come when it was empty and I've come during the All you can eat Thursday night rush, and I have never had a bad experience. The food is fantastic. I have always received excellent service, mostly from Alex and Paul, but also from every other staff member that has served me. Look I aint even playin, Hunter Woods Bwing is da bomb. Ive been to all the Bwings around and this one tops em all. The waitresses are the best lookin at this one for sure. Super fast reliable service and the wings were top dollar delicious. I was pretty hammered the last time i was there too and the servers werent disgruntled at all.. They handled me with care. (sorry about braking one of those beer glasses on accident).. Wings are my favorite food, 10 hot shenks and 10 honey bbq shenks hit the spot like no other. The beer at happy hour was not that great. The wings were sub-par for a place specializing in wings. The salad was smothered in dressing and could not even taste the ingredients as the dressing was "garlic" flavored but tasted more like black pepper dressing. Which left a horrible taste in my mouth all night. The arcade game Golden Tee was not working and no one could figure out how to get it working as they didn't care to help us. Will not be returning to this place due to the bad food. Only half our party ate and the other half didn't like the ambience of the restaurant. We soon left and went to another bar and grill for happy hour and Golden Tee. The only good thing was the wait staff was nice. read more

Go on Thursday for unlimited wings, fries and drinks. Come hungry because it's $25 with tax. The actual chicken as a bit above average but, what makes the wings amazing are the sauces. The suicide ranch is the greatest creation since the wheel. You can get wings, boneless bites, or tenders. The wings you can also order just the flats are drums which is a great idea. This is suppose to be a wing factory so the wings are key and since they changed managment the wings have been horrible, hard and dried up, basically overcooked. I even complained about this and asked that my order not come this way and it came this way so even asking for a change made no difference. If you like wings, stay away. To much noise and to many different sounds. Can't talk and food not that good for price

Last week I completed the flatliner challenge at the Sterling location. The wings were hot, but I could have kept going. The night after was not too bad, in fact I slept for 10hrs, woke up, had two "morning-after-the-flatliner challenges", then went about my day as usual. Yesterday I went to the Reston location to take the flatliner challenge. I probably got screwed by a friend of mine who told the waiter that i had already completed the challenge at another location. They either adjusted the mix to see if they could beat me, or the mix is just hotter at this location, I am not certain which. The wings came out, and looked hotter than the Sterling wings. They had more sauce, more pepper seeds, and smelled like death. Half way through the challenge, I started tearing up. This did not happen at the other location. It takes a hell of a lot of heat to get my eyes to tear up. After wing #10, I successfully completed the challenge, but I was in a lot of pain. I asked the waiter what was in the wings, and he said it was a mix of peppers and pure capsiasin. Pure capsiasin is as hot as anything can possibly be and does not occur naturally. It is the pure extracted form of the chemical that makes peppers hot. The pain subsided after about 15 minutes as usual, and I went on about my night. I went to bed around 1am and felt fine. I will now let you in on a little secret. Most people think the flatliner challenge is completed when you finish 10 wings with no other food or drink. After all, this is what they tell you at the restaurant. People who believe this can not even comprehend how wrong they are. Enter "The REAL flatliner challenge": 2:00am - Woke up to horrible searing pain in my abdomen. It was very intense. The worst part of this pain was that it was deep in my body and there was absolutely nothing I could do about it. It would come and go in waves. I also felt like I had a fever of 120F. I took my temperature but was perfectly normal. 2:45am - Fell asleep 3:15am - Pain. I stood up, only to find that changing positions makes the pain worse. This is a different pain than what I felt when eating the wings. It was not a hot pepper pain, but rather a hot feeling in my guts, as if I ate something radioactive. 4:00am - back to sleep 4:30am - I woke up in a pool of sweat. I felt ok though. I then stood up, and the pain returned. This is the kind of pain that mandates groaning in agony while hunching over into a fetal position. Changing positions of course brings more pain. Such a vicious cycle... 4:45am - I frantically started to make a "green smoothie" (if you don't know what this is, google it) which generally has enough fiber to really to get things moving pretty quickly on an empty stomach. It is also ice cold, which was nice. 5:30am - back to sleep 8:30am - I slept for two hours! Wohoo! But I woke up to intense pain while laying in a pool of sweat. I rode the waves of pain for about 30 minutes before finally getting up. 9:00am - 10:00am - I battled with the devil in the bathroom. The pain here was very similar to the feeling when eating the wings. 10:00am - Started this yelp review. I feel ok now. I have a warm feeling in my guts, but it does not hurt. We recently went to BWF&P on a Saturday afternoon when we were in the mood for bar food and wanted to try someplace "new." We'd ordered carry-out wings from this restaurant before and they were good, so this seemed like a safe bet. Maybe we made an unfortunate impression on the staff as we entered (my husband and our son had been play-wrestling on the sidewalk as we approached the restaurant); whatever the cause, I can't recall the last time we received such poor service. It almost became laughable by the end of the meal - almost, but not quite. I'm still not entirely convinced our server wasn't under the influence of some kind of sedative at the time of our visit. The server didn't meander over to greet us until we'd been sitting there for almost ten minutes, and our drinks (just sodas and waters, nothing complex) took about the same amount of time to arrive. After bringing the drinks, the server took our order. We chose two kinds of wings as appetizers and a burger or sandwich for each one of the four of us. The server made a point of asking whether we wanted ranch or bleu cheese dip, and specifying whether we wanted the wings to come out before our meal or at the same time. We asked for one ranch and two bleu cheese and told her we'd like the wings first. Another fifteen minutes later, the wings and food all arrived at once, accompanied by one cup of bleu cheese and no ranch. After unloading the tray onto our table, the server seemed to suddenly recall that we'd asked for the wings first, and offered to take everything else back and hold it in the kitchen until we were ready. Um, no thanks - no food is ever helped by wilting under heat lamps. After leaving us with our food, the server returned once to ask if everything was okay. I asked for ranch (politely and apologetically, as if I'd forgotten to ask when we ordered) but she didn't voluntarily come to our table again until well after the meal was over. We had to flag people down to ask for straws, napkins, ketchup, and other things that should have been there to begin with. At the end of the meal, I had to ask twice for carryout boxes before one was brought to the table. The most irritating aspect of the experience was only partially the server's fault. Two men had been seated at the table behind us and one of them decided to hold the server (and, by extension, us) hostage for over ten minutes while he regaled her with stories about the Leesburg neighborhood where he lives. By that time our visit had already been painfully extended by long waits, and this put it over the top to downright excruciating. About five minutes into the tale-telling, the server became aware that we were eager to leave. She appeared uncomfortable but did not try to extricate herself from Mr. Loquacious. I turned around and stared over the top of the booth very pointedly at the talker several times with no success. I even considered interrupting and asking him to release our server so we could pay and escape. Up to this point, we had been nothing but friendly to our server, but not until all four of us had given her a simultaneous, prolonged stare did she excuse herself to go get our check. She ran my credit card but another server brought it back, and this other server had to return to the kitchen to get the to-go boxes that our server forgot to tell her to bring. Usually we'd just abandon the leftovers, especially as these weren't great, but by then it was a matter of principal with my husband to get the boxes we'd asked for twice. The food was average; there was no celery with the wings (probably an oversight) and the burgers were dry and bland, but the biggest deterrent to a return visit was the (lack of) service. I waited tables during college so I'm very sympathetic and a generous tipper. I know firsthand the quandary of a talkative customer who thoughtlessly holds a server hostage at the table as the minutes tick by, and how hard it is to escape without being rude. But there's no excuse for the rest of the experience, during which it seemed that our server either didn't hear us, forgot everything, and/or just didn't care. This was the first time in my life I've left less than a tip of 20% rounded up, but I only felt a twinge of guilt. We were there almost an hour and a half, long after we were desperate to be on our way. Next time we're in the mood for bar food, we'll head elsewhere. read more

This is a fun place to head out for lunch with colleagues after a long week. It has a sports bar feel with lots of TV's and the seating area is a large open room. They can easily accommodate large groups. There are different lunch deals for each day of the week, but we tend to go on Friday when they have half price burgers. Today it was hot. The World Cup was on, so we thought, "What a perfect place to go. Cold beer and wings." Well, there were 10 of us. It was only 11:50 AM, so the place was practically empty. One of the ladies with our party asked the hostess if it was OK if we pushed another table together, to make a larger table. She said "FINE". We started pushing the table and a server came out and started saying, "Hey, what are you doing"? You can't do that without permission". Honestly??? We had 10 women. We needed 10 seats. WE HAD PERMISSION. We were not interfering with anyone else (there was nobody near us). So, "they let us keep our tables together". Gee....thanks. We asked for drinks. No menu, so we asked for a drink menu. One of the ladies asked if they had any mixed drinks. He said, "Yes, but they're expensive". Wow. Just what you say to a bunch of middle aged women with charge cards!!!! Live and learn young man. We gave our beer order. I watched the bar area and saw our beers sitting on the pass. Just sitting.....and sitting....oh, and did I mention that the drafts were missing about 1 inch of beer from each glass??? Poor pours. Totally. We finally got the beers (after asking the hostess to get them). We got a stack of glasses, a pitcher of ice and a pitcher of water to pour ourselves for those who wanted water. Hmmmm....self serve. We placed our food order and waited. Several other tables got their food. I know we were a party of 10, but 5 were salads, one just had a beer and the other 4 had wings. We waited over 45 minutes for food. I'll say that once the food arrived it was really good. Wings were tasty. Salads looked nice and fresh. Service ......mediocre to LOUSY. Learn something........we were a large party of women having a fun lunch. We're notoriously good tippers, for good service. We're also not dumb. When we get lousy service, we tip accordingly. The place was pretty empty. Maybe they needed someone to help wtih a large table. The fact of the matter.....don't iritate a table of 10 with poor service. Someone shoudl step up and help.
