Yummy spot with a great selection of food! Perfect for coming out with a group of friends to stuff your gullet. All the food was nice and fresh. The sides were some of the best I've had. Dont skip on the pineapple at the end for a nice dessert!

Came here on a Saturday for lunch around 12:30pm, were able to get seated right away. $39/person for the standard AYCE. Service was good, portions are somewhat on the smaller side (we had a group of 6). You can order meats in groups of 3. Grill changes were offered & done throughout. Was bummed to see some of the normal sides that come with AYCE were offered à la carte and required an upcharge. Ambiance was what you would expect at an AYCE. Lots of seating options. I like that they validate parking. Overall, enjoyed it and would come back.

We came here on a weekend evening after checking in online and waiting in a queue of like 3 other parties and we felt like the wait was relatively short, around 10-15 minutes. It's nice because you can check in online and there's parking readily available. We had tried to go to another Korean bbq place nearby with more vegetarian options but that place was a 90-minute wait, so we came here instead. Our servers changed halfway through, but the process itself was fine. They kept replenishing our sauces, veggies, and meat throughout the night. They also had more vegetarian dishes like kimchi fried rice for an extra surcharge ($4). They changed the metal cooking dish about 5 times during our time there. Sometimes we went without seeing our server for a while, but we were able to flag them when we did need them. They are lacking more veggie dishes like other bbq places like kimchi pancakes (which even if they had it seems like they would charge extra when it should be included in the price).

Came here on Thanksgiving Eve with my siblings, and I left full but not inclined to coming back again. In an area where there's so much competition, the value proposition was decent at best. We got the $39 deluxe option, and the meat quality was ok, with the beef brisket lacking much marbling at all. What's disappointing is the selection. For basically the same price as Moohan that's right down the street, you're getting a smaller selection of sides (they have a buffet line), and steamed egg is an extra charge. Service was fine due to the lack of business at the time we went, but it did take us a moment to get our check + have someone run payment. Overall, everything was just - fine - however that doesn't quite cut it in such a competitive segment.

I've been to Bulgogi Hut many times but hadn't came in years. My friends and I LOVE this place. Our server was Alberto and he was great! The meat quality here is great, our favorite are the brisket and beef belly, the spicy pork is also delicious. The ambience is nice and calm. It is one of the pricier Kbbq places but it's soooo worth it! I always looking forward to coming back!

Do they serve one person for kbbq? What is the happy hour cost?

Hello Jordan, We do accept single diners our policy is to get a card on file ahead of time but you can pay at the end of your meal via tab pay. The price of our Happy Hour is $29 per person

    Do they take reservations?

Hi Larry, we do take reservations for parties of 10 or more. You can go on our website and fill out our large party reservation agreement.

Are you able to seat a party of 9 at one table together or would we have to split up?

Yes we can accomodate up to 16 people to a single table however we only have 2 tables in the restaurant with that size so there may be a longer wait to be seated together.

Whats the average wait time during the evening hours?

There was no wait time on a Wednesday at 7.00 PM

    Do they accept cash?

    Yes they do

Are you able to accommodate fish and shellfish allergies?

For some reason their policy states that they can't. I don't understand why or how.

    Do they have happy hour?

no but there's bento boxes i believe that's way cheaper

    Do you have Happy hour?

I have never seen anything on their menu that offers happy hour. The same goes for in and around the establishment.

What is the brown sauce they have on the tables next to the chili sauce?

    Brisket Sauce

Will you be open Christmas Eve?

Thank you for your inquiry we will be open on Christmas eve but our last call for food and beverage will be 10pm. Thank You

    What is the deluxe steak?

When you greet multiple times of steak and beef

What kind of oil do you use?

They use what looks like pork fat. Typically with each new set of meats they tend to give another little piece of pork fat to season the grill.

    Can you reserve a table?

If you use the opentable app it will add you to a waitlist I did not see anything about reserving a table.

    Is there still outdoor dining?

Not anymore, they have two tables outside used as the waiting area now.

Do we need vaccinations cards to eat here?

    No- vaccination card needed!

Did they change the parking rules? Usually we go and it's free with validation even after we been there for 2 hours. Tonight it was just half off because he said it was only free for 2 hours .....Is that new?

I think the actual parking structure raised their price and the validation only covers 2 hours now, so yes I think this happened during COVID

Do they still do out door dinning? And do you have any recommendations as to what time is the best time to go with less people?

    No they don't

    Are reservations available again?

They told us only for parties over 25

Are you requiring proof of vaccination to dine in?

    Not anymore.

What is the cost for 7 people, 4 adults and 3 kids?

    $255.00

The space itself is cute, trendy, and modern, but according to my Korean friends, the food stays true to tradition -- which is exactly what you want from a place like this. There was a line when we got there, but it moved quickly -- and they came around to take our order while we were still waiting, so food came out fast once we sat down. I've had bossam before and always got cold, sliced meat -- not my thing. Here, it comes out hot, and the pork jowl was incredible. I genuinely could not stop eating it, so tender with that perfect grilled edge. They also start you off with a little bowl of barley rice (bori bap) as part of the banchan -- first time trying it and it was such a nice, unexpected touch. We also shared the chicken sujebi and it was pure comfort in a bowl. The hand-torn noodles were perfectly chewy and the broth was seasoned just right -- not too salty, just deeply savory. Heads up on parking: it's tough. I got lucky with street parking but it's only 1-hour limit, so keep an eye on the clock. The lot is valet only and looked chaotic when we pulled up, so budget extra time (and maybe cash) if you go that route. Honestly one of my favorite meals I've had in Koreatown, and a great spot to bring visitors -- my friends loved it too. Already planning my next visit to work through the rest of the menu. Highly recommend, especially if you love Korean comfort food done right.

If you're searching for some of the city's best pork, then those in the know will bring up Ham Ji Park. For 2 decades, generous platters of pork ribs and pork neck stew decked every table. Now, our Korean friends lament the loss of their favorite pork joint in the city. The Koreatown proper location is located in the Royal Plaza mini-mall, just a few blocks off bustling Wilshire. Discounted parking is available in a lot across the street from the Chevron gas station. From the street, the entrance is flanked by potted plants and an enclosed street-ery. Inside, stainless steel chairs are pressed up against wooden tables, each outfitted with a metal grill. Oppressive fluorescent lighting shines down on the stone grey walls, which are left undecorated apart from a few flatscreens. Multi-lingual chatter blends with the sizzle of platters. I visited with some friends for a weeknight dinner, and about half of the tables were occupied. We shared a spread of grilled platters and sizzling soups. The meal began with a carafe of barley tea and a mostly standard spread of banchan. Across our food, the best dish was the signature Charbroiled Pork Spare Rib. The ribs were flavorful without feeling gamey, and the meat was complemented by sweet caramelized onions. The pork ribs handily outdid the good-not-great Charbroiled Beef Short Rib. Lastly, the Milt and Cod Rose with Vegetables stew was fishy and briny, appropriately flavored for the Korean palate. The service was appropriately attentive, although I would've appreciated more intentional refills of our banchan ramikens. The rib plates cost upward of $35 each, while the soup was just under $30. The portions were hearty; a single entree platter could reasonably feed 2 moderately hungry bellies. It's a shame to hear that Ham Ji Park has closed; I'm kicking myself for not trying their pork neck stew earlier.

Even when we ordered the food, the server said "that's it?" as if she was offended that we didn't order more food (lower sales?) I'm not sure if we misunderstood her attitude but that's kind of how it felt like. The quality and size went down and it was just... not good. This used to be my #1 spot for cold noodles but our other fav place was closed today so we decided to come here. As you can see, the size of the cold noodles became smaller. Everything was packed in this small bowl which made it harder to eat. I think they changed the noodles they use because it wasn't doing anything texture wise. It used to be chewy and had a good buckwheat flavor. The broth tasted.. like water with a splash of bone broth. The quality of galbi was also a disappointing as I feel like it's became less and the meat was burnt with more fat/chewy bits. The leek pancake was ok but again, comparing it to my picture from January, it was bigger in size and more dough-y. Service was decent previously but it felt a bit cold today. Again, super bummed because we still love this place but I probably won't be ordering their combo again. You can see in my pictures how often we used to order the cold noodles from here and you can compare the quality.
