I dined here 5/9/26. The food here is good, I can't deny that. Great options and good flavor, but my main issue is the servers coming around to dump your meat on the grill. By the time I wanted more to add on my plate, the meat had been overcooked. What's the point in handing tongs if the servers are just gonna cook it their way? KBBQ (set & entree styles) has its righteous home in Koreatown, Los Angeles. I've had multiple different AYCE KBBQ and I cannot recommend Seoul Soul BBQ enough for its meat quality and value. A lot of AYCE KBBQ spots have beef tongue on their menu, but only a few deliver consistent quality marbled and thinly sliced beef tongue meat. For those who are avid fans of quality meat, look no further! The other side dishes are also up to par. Notably their Korean pancake was a hit amongst friends during a birthday dinner, but I personally enjoy their corn cheese. Also of note is that you are free to bring your own tortillas if you wish! It is stated on their digital menu AND they serve rancheros/carne asada style meats to the BBQ Table. All of our servers were attentive, often checking in on us if we needed anything. Otherwise, they are polite and more than happy to help when kindly and respectfully flagged down for some assistance. Seoul Soul KBBQ has many tables with various seating arrangements, multiple large TVs mounted (usually playing some sort of sports game for the evening), and is proudly open into the late evening hours. Just be aware that it does tend to get louder during the evening hours when larger groups settle in for dinner. There can also be a wait depending on your party size, it is wise to call ahead and ask for an estimated wait time to help gauge your expectations of the queue. A parking lot is on site which appears to be free from open to about 5pm (a valet service is rendered from 5pm onwards). Valet was $3 cash or $4 via digital payment. You really can't beat $33 all-you-can-eat--especially when the food quality is this good. I also love that they're open 7 days a week: until 2am on Fridays and Saturdays, and 1am every other day, which makes it a perfect late-night spot. The food was incredible. One of my favorite spots for KBBQ in Ktown. I came on a Friday night around 11pm. I love that this place is open late. I haven't visited since last year, so I'm not sure if they stopped the valet parking or if they have it during peak hours only but this time when I visited there was NO valet so it was free which was nice. My recent visit, I got the option A which is good price for the amount of meat option. The spicy beef is one of my favorite to order. I recommend ordering half orders tho, they bring out HUGE portions. During my last visit, although I asked a half portion of meats, it was still a lot that they brought out (like probably 4 orders worth) even the server was shocked on how much they brought out lol but I had to send it back to the kitchen to get less bc I knew my bf and I weren't going to finish it. I really like their Korean pancake and corn cheese as side orders! Also, idk if I just missed it on the menu but I didn't see beef belly on there! I remember ordering beef belly in my previous visits (and even have a pic) but I guess they removed it?!? Came here for lunch from seeing someone recommend this place on Instagram and was amazed at the number of items offered on their menu. Lunch set A was $24.99 and B was $26.99. Option A has 16 items and Option B had 20 items. We opt for Option B due to it having corn cheese, beef rib meat and pork ribs and only being $2 more. Their dinner menu was available as well with more options but we decided to go with lunch menu instead. There were a couple tables there but service was still quick and we didn't have to wait on a Thursday afternoon. It was raining as well so most people probably did not want to go out. They have a parking lot as well so parking was not an issue. Not sure if they charge for parking at night since it's ktown. Overall the meat quality was decent. The brisket was on the leaner side so it was a little dry if you over cooked it. Of the 3 different briskets my friend and I thought the spicy brisket was the best as it had a lot of flavor and helped keep the meat moist. The beef rib meat was good too. Very flavorful and tender. The pork ribs took a while to cook but it still remained juicy. Our server came over to us a couple times to help us cut our meat and asked if we wanted to order more dishes. The sides/banchan were good, pretty standard. Corn cheese was very buttery and had a nice cheese pull. Pancake was just veggies but was very crispy. The sauce wasn't even red. A goodnmeasure is to try a frozen Hmart noodle and duplicate the taste of the vinegar and the spicy sauce. That is what most Koreans are accustomed to eating. PEOPLE BEWARE! I came to Seoul Soul for a birthday dinner after seeing several positive reviews and thinking it would be a great place to celebrate. The service was friendly, and at first we enjoyed our meal. Unfortunately, what happened afterward was one of the worst experiences I have had in years. Shortly after leaving, I developed a severe stomachache. At first I assumed I had simply eaten too much, but the pain did not go away for hours. Instead, it became progressively worse and was soon accompanied by nausea. I tried to sleep it off, hoping I was just tired or overly full, but I woke up feeling absolutely terrible. What followed was extreme fatigue, dizziness, relentless nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, dehydration, and some of the worst abdominal pain I have ever experienced. I have only had food poisoning one other time in my life, and this felt every bit as awful. I genuinely felt like death. I have been awake since 3:00 a.m., crying from the pain and discomfort, unable to stay in my own bed, and feeling completely drained. I have been in and around the bathroom for 7 hours now. The reason I am sharing this is because this was the ONLY thing I ate all day. I did not have breakfast somewhere else. I did not grab food on the way home. This was my only meal. I was looking forward to eating KBBQ, as many people are and saved my appetite. Additionally, the two friends I dined with also experienced stomach discomfort and stopped eating early during the AYCE time limit because they were feeling stuffed. After becoming sick, I went back and read through the one-star reviews. To my surprise, I found multiple reviews over the past couple of years describing stomach pain, nausea, vomiting, and similar symptoms after eating here, including one posted just a few weeks ago. Had I seen those reviews beforehand, I never would have chosen this restaurant. I would not wish this experience on anyone. If you are considering eating here, please do your research, read the negative reviews carefully, and make your own decision. They have hands down the best kimchi ever though! There's plenty of kbbq spots in ktown but what makes this spot so unique is that they offer giant woodae galbi and oxtail kbbq! Both these meats were super tender and flavorful.
