We have a diverse group of appetites and each person can find something they love. M-Th is 1/2 price wine--not GREAT wine but as someone said,"Discount Drinking is good!" Okay so there's a lot to unpack around these three stars. The atmosphere and the staff were very nice from the time we hot the door. It was a pretty busy night as well. Veteran's Day weekend. So we get seated and the server comes and she's totally sweet as hummingbird cake. It had been a long day so we asked about drink specials or any house faves as we tend to like trying the house specialties that you can't get anywhere else. Unfortunately Miss Paiton is not 21 yet and wasn't able to tell us about any drinks however there's one she said people order often so we tried it. Now because it's been a few long mentally trying days I can't remember the name of it but it was a cream liquor, like Bailey's, drink that's similar to a white Russian but it used a bourbon instead of vodka. Brown liquor? I'm in. Great. Could have had 10 of those. The apps, so we love good charbroiled oysters, in this case 10/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND. Here's the deal, most were not done. They appeared to had been placed under the broiler and seasoned but not long enough. For the couple that were done we tried it and the seasoning they put on it was actually good. It just needs a tweak on the cook time and temperature and it should help. For our entrées, I got the NY strip, ordered medium well and it arrived a nice medium. Granted, it wasn't rare, I would have preferred it a tad more done to an actual medium well. My partner ordered the baby back ribs. They were described as meat, bones, sauce. Nothing really to write home about in terms of a smokey flavor or seasoning or marinade or anything at all. So ok, nice ambience and great staff but mediocre to taste. The side dishes were great though. The broccoli, French fries, and side salad. The sweet potato soufflé was ok. Would I be in a hurry to come back? Mmmmmm not so much however, that drink and the French fries were quite good. The food menu seems to be here and there with bbq ribs, po boy, rice bowls, steaks, etc. so I'm not sure what the overall theme is. Hell who needs a them when offering variety? So maybe when we bring the inlaws and nephews up in the spring we'll try again. read more

The sign on the side of the restaurant says, 'NO BULL, JUST GOOD FOOD'...and that rings true. This place did not disappoint. Started off with some of that delicious bread and some loaded potato cracklins. Didn't know what to expect with this dish, but we wanted to try something that we couldn't get someplace else. That was some tasty stuff there, the potatoes were cooked just right with a crispy outside while staying nice and tender inside...like a little baked 'tater. I ordered the special - a 14 ounce ribeye with 4 grilled shrimp on the top and a side of onion rings. It also came with a standard house salad (and blue cheese dressing of course). Nice fresh veggies and a delicious housemade blue cheese dressing. The ribeye came out cooked just right, nice and juicy with plenty of flavor. My wife ordered the 6 ounce filet with asparagus. They offer a steamed asparagus on the menu but my wife asked for it to be grilled and they were happy to accommodate. She really enjoyed her filet as well. Didn't have room for dessert, so that about wraps it up. If you're visiting Pigeon Forge, do yourself a favor and check this place out! read more

In pigeon forge for a few days and they're is a lot to choose from! But we chose this. Not happy about our choice. We were sat very quickly, which was nice. Alana was our server, friendly, but seemed frazzled, out of her element and not too knowledgeable about the menu or bar knowledge. Drink was messed up but I made it work. Also, no bread was offered nor brought to table. Didn't know there was bread till walking out at the end. Not good. Runners weren't too friendly and short. Rushed the food to anywhere on the table without hardly giving us time to make room. Now for the food. Apps; We had the beer cheese. Not enough chips to enjoy properly. Sauce was good. 3 out of 5 Chargrilled oysters. Extremely overpriced for the sizes of the actual oysters. No hints of garlic butter as stated. Parm cheese was over crusted and burnt. Worst I've ever had. 1 out of 5 Dinner: Kids had cheese pasta and the steak. They liked it. But 2 Shirley temples were almost $8. Sprite and an oz of grenadine which usually costs Pennies a pour. 3.5 out of 5 Cilantro lime grilled shrimp with add on of blue crab Bearnaise. Wife loved it. No complaints except the 1.25 oz ramekin of bearnaise sauce for $4?!? Ridiculous. No flavor and hardly any flavor with the sauce. Overall 3 out of 5 I decided on two appetizers for dinner. Ahi tuna won ton stack. Tuna lacked flavor completely. Outside lacked any type of seasoning, sesame etc. Asian sauce is clearly store bought and bottled sauce. 1.5 out of 5 Also had the spicy shrimp appetizer. Shrimp was good. Nothing much to say. Average app. 4 out of 5. Wife had the key lime pie for dessert. She loved it. Kids loved it. They were happy. 5 out of 5. But overall, what a ripoff for quality, service and mishaps. Won't come back here again. What a shame. Menu pronounced itself as a worthy restaurant. Service, food quality and pricing lowered this over view. read more

This is always our first stop when we arrive in pigeon forge, we ate there twice this week and the food was excellent each time,l enjoyed ther chicken the first time time while my wife always gets their shrimp and grits the second time we e both had seafood and we both enjoyed our selections, the ambiance is always peaceful and the wait staff are vey attentive. Came here for dinner, it wasn't bad, it wasn't amazing. Would i come back? Probably not. My blackened chicken sandwich was great, wonderful flavor. The fries were ehh. My boyfriend got the fish n chips which was swai fish not cod which was a little surprising. It was mediocre, and the tartar sauce was very unpleasant. The app we got was the chili shrimp. Then shrimp was good, lacking some flavor but it was strange because it was on top of a deep fried wonton... our waitress was so sweet. But overall a very underwhelming experience. read more

What a great spot! Very very clean restaurant unlike some in pigeon forge like Marble slab creamery or Blue Moose. This place was immaculate. Our food was great. Reasonably priced. Had the oysters as well as a sandwich and my son had the crab cakes. Our server was such a fun and pleasant young lady. Would highly recommend this place. OH MY GAWD! We stopped in after a full day of sigh seeing and exhausting ourselves in Gatlinburg. My rule is to always go local and Bullfish Grill did not disappoint. We came in from the cold and encountered a wonderful, warm, cozy, dimly lit restaurant. Our server was great and she was training a newbie. We promised that we were super easy patrons but then I had to return my Cesar salad because my husband ordered a house salad and it looked so yummy that I had to have my own. The servers were ever so accommodating. I had steak with steamed broccoli and my steak was so tender that I could've cut it with a knife. It's not an expensive restaurant, the decor is very, very cute and if it wasn't for the fact that were were dead tired on our feet, it would've made for a great romantic experience. A lot could be said about this place and this is just my opinion. The place is excellent we had steaks, salmon, seafood pasta and the oysters. Everything was really good I have never tried oysters but I did these and they were excellent. The only downside, maybe it was a bad day, but the host and the waitress wasn't the best. Because of one person in our party being handicapped I asked for a table and was taken ti a booth and in the middle of taking our drink order the waitress just walks away. We ordered the filet mignon, trout, teriyaki steak kabobs and fried porkchops. Each entree came with a salad and side. The entrees were cooked perfectly and came to the table within 15 minutes. Not sue if it was it was two ounces all together. Then the "potato cracklings" (loaded fries) they were fine. Ordered a baby back ribs. The ribs were dry and leathery. The side of white cheddar potatoes were decent. My partner ordered pistachio crusted rainbow trout. The cook was good, but failed to taste and pistachio, there was no crunch. The worst food our family has ever eaten! It was overpriced and nothing more than a fast food restaurant. My husband got a terrible case of food poisoning from their shrimp. We contacted the management and they did not even care. Avoid this place like the plague if you want to enjoy your vacation in Gatlinburg or you could end up deathly ill like my husband. Really fantastic dinner tonight and our first time visiting. Can we just talk about the bread? The slightly salty goodness loaf of bread with real whipped butter given with your meal? Probably one the best bread I've ever eaten. My guy and I both ordered the sirloin with onion rings and house salads. We both enjoyed the salad, nice variety in it and it was tasty. The entree sirloin I ordered was over and my guys sirloin under what we both ordered, which was medium. I tend the like my meat rare-medium and he prefers medium to medium well, so we just flipped steaks. Lol they had a good char and flavor overall. The onion rings were huge and we both filled up..Dessert? Well we came to Gatlinburg after a week at the beach. We kept saying we need to get a key lime pie, but when we're done eating we just didn't want it..well tonight, we decided to bring it back to our room and get our key lime pie. Lightly breaded and fried and with a balsamic glaze. Also had the cilantro chicken which came with mushroom Rice and broccoli.
