One is the main reasons we chose this restaurant was because they had chargrilled oysters on the menu. They were the tiniest oysters I've ever seen, although the flavor was good. My husband got the gumbo he says was good. We got the cracklin potatoes as an appetizer with beer cheese and bacon which was good but not really hot. We ordered a chocolate cake for dessert, it was dry and relatively tasteless. The service was above average. The whole place smelled like a old bar, it felt like there was a film on everything. It's a Thursday night and the service was great. Had the grilled salmon--very tasty mustard sauce. The broccoli was cooked perfectly. The mashed potatoes were tangy from what I guess was the sharp cheddar cheese. My husband had the sirloin. It looked tender and perfectly medium. Oh and the bread was so delicious. We have eaten here before and enjoyed the meal, and last night was the same. My wife had steak with a salad and onion rings, I had the grilled salmon. Both were delivered promptly and were hot and delicious. The reason for the three stars was our server. He seemed lost and unsure of himself, took our orders and never came back. We sat our tea glasses on the edge of the table, hoping he would see they were empty and come to refill them. Nothing doing. We had to wave at him, ask him to come to our table and refill our drinks. We were excited to try this restaurant as it appears to be very popular. Unfortunately our experience at this location was anything but good. We went for an early supper and it hadn't gotten busy yet. Maybe going at an off time was part of the problem and they just didn't want to bother with so few customers. Walking in the hostess didn't acknowledge us right away, was talking to other staff and when she did, she didn't bother to smile. That was not the best way to start us off. Next we ask for a booth for the two of us and were seated at a small single booth even though they had a room full of empty regular booths, strike two. Still had high hopes of enjoying the evening. Then "Nadia" our server showed up and again, no smile, just doing a job and appearing to not enjoy it. Actually everyone we met had an air of superiority which is the best word I can think of to describe the feeling that we got from the staff. My sister ask questions about the food she wanted to order and again no real help from the server, just to the point answers with nothing actually explained even though she had to know her answers were not satisfactory. Isn't helping customers understand the menu part of a servers training? It was like she couldn't lower herself to do her job. Now that was strike three for me and at that point I wasn't going to enjoy myself even if the food had been good. Unfortunately again, the food was mediocre and something I would not to order again. We both decided to play it safe and ordered the fish and chips (the menu doesn't tell you what fish you will be getting and that question had to be asked since the menu doesn't say and the answer was some fish I'd never heard of, definitely not Cod or Tilapia like you would expect. The fish was beautiful to look at but the cook may have taken it out of the fry basket a couple of minutes too soon and it had a translucent look that felt and tasted undercooked. It hadn't reached the flaky stage that you wish to see. Our waitress was busy with the table next to us, and didn't spend a minute trying to make sure we enjoyed our dinner. She did what she had to do and no more. I attempted to stop her as she flew by once but was ignored. Fortunately we had the absolute best experience at the Local Goat (Wow is all you can say about everything), Old Mill Restaurant (great food and service), Texas Roadhouse (Governor's Crossing) and Calhoun's (Never been disappointed there)! I've noticed many reviews that are exactly like mine but with no changes being made. Please listen to your customer's! The same hit or miss service continues and perhaps because they continue to have customers from out of town they continue to not take these complaints seriously. While travelling for work me and my coworkers have ate here is usually food is great. we came for lunch today and I had the grilled salmon with broccoli and it was really good but we came back for dinner and I had the turkey sandwich and it was terrible!!! The croissant was extremely hard the fried were really cold no flavour at all. I order a mushroom soap and it was really cold too :( too bad. Not sure what happened The service is really good. Our server at lunch was amazing. The one at dinner she forgot the soap twice so she was really nice and not charged for it. I couldn't eat it because it was really cold and I felt bad telling her after she offered it for free. Definitely stick with the main dishes. You can't go wrong. read more

I usually like 2 drinks with dinner, but was rushed so much there was only a need for one. The food is mediocre- not bad, but nothing to write home about. I had a lime chicken dish with rice and broccoli that was overpriced for how simple it was. I was not told I could substitute sides unlike the table behind me. The risotto was forgettable and the broccoli unimaginatively steamed to al dente but with no seasoning. The chicken was nicely charred and juicy. Over all, there is nothing special about this place. I was surprised to get breaded & fried shrimp since the menu said it was sautéed. I went back and read it again and noticed the "breaded" part at the end of the description. It was very good, but just not what I had expected. It was my fault for not reading the description more closely, though. They were generous with the shrimp in the dish. Went inside to pick up to go order. I had ordered filet tips medallions from the lunch menu app. $15. On arrival I was directed to pick up my order at the bar. The bar and restaurant are VERY nice. I've been there before and excellent service and food. I noticed my bill was $27. When the male bartender brought my food he said filet, MP, and broccoli. I said it was Supp to be the filet "tips" He was rude and said that is not offered on the weekend. That was not relayed to me when I ordered it. He also said and this is a 6 oz filet and tips are 4oz. I said well they should have told me that when I aced the order, not after you've already taken my card. The point was, I wasn't prepared to pay over $10 more than what I'd ordered, but I did. He did not even try to reconcile my order with a manager and instead continued to be rude to me and said "Well, you'll know the next time!" I'm a local. It made me curious that they may do this to Our tourists and then be rude on top of taking their money. He walked away. I did not leave a tip and called for the female bartender and told her "there wouldn't be a next time" and made it known I was a local!! The bad thing was there were many people sitting at the bar who watched this transaction. I paid and walked to my car and decided to call back and speak with the manager. She was kind and polite and said she had told them to adjust my bill (the female must have gone to her) but I Must have left before that happened and she would adjust it. I do not see where the charge was changed on my credit card at the time of this writing but I hope it is corrected. My food was excellent however I did not receive any bread or butter with my $27 meal. Mostly, I was very disappointed at how I was treated. That attitude was a first for me with this establishment. I hope they reprimand the bartender for his rudeness. You never know who you are interacting with so you should treat everyone with kindness and respect. Okay, let's start this out by talking about how crazy Pigeon Forge can be on a weekend evening. If you start calling around to get a seat, your wait time can be anywhere from 45-120+ minutes. Like insane crazy long wait times. Now, this is how I found myself one Friday night while I was in town. Calling around and trying all different places and everyone was just out and everyone just got there before I did. So, I keep calling around since driving was getting annoying. All of the waits were extraordinary. Like, seriously, over two hours?? Eventually I call Bullfish (I hate seafood so anything with it in the name is automatically end of the list for me), and they say 15-20 minutes. AWESOME! I rush over there, they take my number to text me when the seat is ready and it's now up to 20-25 minutes. Given I know the craziness up and down the strip there, I still agree. 10 minutes later, BOOM, seated. By this point, I'm elated and so hungry that I could've practically kissed the staff there. Not wanting to make it awkward, I just ordered all kinds of food. Now, I wasn't expecting much because this place just feels like your standard middle-American eatery AND they had minimal wait time, so how good could it really be? Started with the loaded potato cracklins, kind of like loaded potato skins but made with skillet potatoes instead of skin slices. These were amazing. And they were also quite filling, so don't overdo it on them, even though it's very tempting to just eat them all. Best shared with two or more people! Also, the table bread was so warm and delicious, it was also hard to keep out of that while trying to save room for the main course. We also got the Turkey Bacado and the ribs. The ribs were pretty standard, and the turkey bacado was good, too. Overall, the food was about what you'd expect, and the prices weren't too bad given all the places in the area that would love to gouge you for throwing on a celebrity's name. I'd recommend it and would go back, knowing that it's good quality and filling for what you'd expect in this area. read more

What a great find in Pigeon Forge! We chose this restaurant to celebrate my sister's birthday and had a wonderful experience. The restaurant is also very nice. The complimentary homemade bread served with whipped butter was so delicious I could've eaten half the loaf. My party ordered the New Orleans pasta, the sirloin, shrimp and grits, and cilantro lime chicken. My chicken pasta was loaded with spinach, sun dried tomatoes, mushrooms, chicken, and the sauce was so creamy! Everyone enjoyed their food and great service was the icing on the cake. For dessert we ordered the crème brûlée and unfortunately, it was not very good. However, the key lime pie was delicious. My daughter loves Firecracker shrimp, and she was excited to see it offered as an appetizer... She ordered that and thought it was delicious...
