Found this place on Yelp. It's a new owner and business and I like that they're not in little Saigon. Bun Bo hue was just ok. 3.5. It lacked a little bit of taste / flavor. I'm not sure I would order it again. Bun thit dac biet is good. Flavors are good, egg roll tasty. I also got the soda lime chan. Decor is cute inside, space is large. They have an extensive movie.

    Best vietnamese resto.

Amazing food and the best vietnamese Bbq noodle I ever tasted. We hire them for catering on our company meeting and the staff was blown away with the delicious line up of food. The service is phenomenal and the place is clean and classy. This place is highly recommended.

Just to be transparent, evidence that I did go here, actually tried it, and paid for it myself! My review can't be bought!

At a glance: Food- 1 star Service/effort- 1/2 star Location/easy parking/ambience-1/2 star I should have known something was up the moment I spotted this restaurant's advertisement sitting at a nearby nail shop. I called in to order after their grand soft opening, excited to try their Bun Bo and Vietnamese crepes--only to be told, "Well, we don't have Vietnamese crapes now because no one in the kitchen knows how to make it." Odd choice to put it on the menu if you can't serve it, right? Still, I decided to give them another shot in person a bit later and went in to try their Bún Bò Huế and Bánh Canh. The restaurant was nearly empty, but it took forever just to get someone's attention to even sit down. With only a couple of other small tables occupied, it seemed like one person was juggling the entire floor. By the time someone finally took our order, I had to rush through my meal because it had already eaten up most of my lunch break--about 35 minutes waiting and still no food. When the food did arrive, it was subpar. The broth was bland, the meat was tough and not stewed long enough, and some cuts were chewy and cut against the grain. My friend and I both agreed it was disappointing. The extra star is for the fact that I can see they are trying. The restaurant looks clean and nice, good ambience. The server lady seemed very apologetic and earnest. I just feel like they spent a lot of money on the aesthetic and not enough money on hiring staff for the basic level of operation needed for a restaurant. Despite the great location, easy parking, good ambiance, the restaurant misses the mark on the essentials: quality food and attentive service. And just to be clear: I can't be bought. This is an authentic review to save others from spending their hard-earned money in this economy only to be let down.

Authentic Vietnamese food with a beautiful and modern atmosphere inside! The owner is extremely friendly and goes above and beyond to make sure you're well taken care of, even offering great suggestions from the menu. I absolutely love the decor and the fresh, modern vibe of the place. The dishes are truly authentic and full of flavor -- I can't wait to come back and try more! Definitely worth checking out this new local business, and don't forget to read the beautiful story they share on their menu -- it really adds a special touch to the whole experience. I ordered the Bún bò Huế

New sizzling plate of steak, egg, tomato and sautéed onion and mushrooms. Added the sea salt latte. Very delicious.

Stopped by today and ordered the bún bò Huế. Strong execution across the board. The broth came out hot, rich, and clean. No excess oil, no heaviness -- just disciplined flavor and balanced lemongrass. Veggies were fresh and crisp, which is the fastest way to measure whether a Vietnamese kitchen takes itself seriously. Noodles had the right bite. Portion size was generous without feeling sloppy. The pork feet were a standout. Very clean, no hair, none of the usual issues you find at other Vietnamese spots that cut corners on prep. Service was fast. Pricing was fair for the quality. Bottom line: A legit bún bò Huế with clean broth, fresh produce, and proper protein prep. Worth the stop and an easy repeat visit.

    Bun Bo hue

Visitors from out of town and came in for the bun bo hue. Very happy with the service and food. My husband ordered goi cuon and pho ga. Definitely satisfied my bun bo hue craving. Restaurant was clean and I will definitely be back!

The restaurant is very clean and spacious. Foods are good, the broth is tasty. I ordered a small side of bun bo hue and it came out with a decent portion. The waitress name Mai is helpful. I recommend this hidden place that located in the corner to everyone.

Food was just good. Service was out of control & not enough thought. Could be better being nice. Love the noodles & visually though. Wait time was ok.

I have come to Ini a couple of times whenever I stop by the Orange County area, and my graduation dinner was no exception. What makes them so unique is their perfect balance between Asian flavors and Italian classics. Everything I have tasted here has been delicious and has exceeded my expectations. Something I appreciate, besides the aesthetic interior, is their unique selection of dishes ranging from innovative pizzas, creamy and original pastas, and bright, flavorful appetizers. Here are a couple of items that I want to shout out: First, the truffle honey bread. I really appreciated the crispiness of the cheese on top and the bounciness of the fluffy bread paired with the sweetness of the honey. It creates a very balanced bite that keeps you wanting more. The raw salmon appetizer was a huge hit with our table. The citrus paired very well with the salmon itself, and even though this is a common appetizer at many fusion restaurants, they really do it right. The beef carpaccio was a great fusion dish and a wonderful nod to the Asian flavors that inspired them. This is a dish I have ordered multiple times, and it always hits the spot. Out of all the pizzas, I enjoyed the mala lamb the most. It actually was not too spicy, with a nice peppery flavor. Sometimes lamb can be a bit overpowering; however, when topped with the mala honey, everything balanced out perfectly. I also want to note that I have never seen this flavor combination anywhere else, and I think it is definitely something you need to try if you are here. The short rib gnocchi was another favorite of mine. The gnocchi was fluffy and cloud-like and paired really well with the umami-rich, savory flavor of the short rib. The meat itself was very tender and pulled apart easily, making every bite delicious. There are other dishes I could mention, but I do want to shout out the scallop risotto. This one definitely surprised me, as I am not usually a big risotto eater. I appreciated the creaminess of the rice mixed with the scallop, and even though it was a cream-based dish, it did not feel heavy at all. The service was very friendly, and everything came out in a timely manner, which I especially appreciated considering we had a big group. Overall, I will always try to find a reason to come back here, as this place really does take the cake for me when it comes to Kei concept restaurants.

I feel like I have raved to multiple friends about Nep and how unique and delicious it is. Nep is located across from Mile Square Regional Park and has ample parking. Every time I have been there, it has always been busy, even with its generous indoor and outdoor seating. I also appreciate how on top of it the servers always are and how they make sure you are well taken care of. Nep is known for their Banh Mi Chao, which is kind of like Bo Ne but with an "everything but the kitchen sink" vibe. I definitely recommend first-time visitors try this dish since it is really what makes them stand out. The tenderness of the beef mixes so well with the sauce, tomatoes, and pâté, while the banh mi acts as the perfect dipping vessel that ties everything together. Besides the Banh Mi Chao, there are so many other dishes that are equally mouthwatering, such as their Crab Toast (with a generous amount of crab and a creamy mouthfeel) and their new steamed egg dish with pork floss (a salty flavor balanced with custardy egg). In my opinion, no matter what dish you decide to get, you can guarantee it will be well-seasoned. Really excited to continue being a repeat customer and trying everything under their roof.

Ordered the Banh Mi Chao and the Pandan Old Fashioned, and both delivered. The Pandan Old Fashioned is great if you prefer something on the stronger side. Then came dessert... and wow. The banana bread pudding and mango sticky rice were straight-up bangers. No notes. Big shoutout to Thomas as well. Despite the packed brunch rush, he stayed incredibly attentive and made sure our table was taken care of the entire time. Service like that makes the experience great.
