I stopped by Bun Me recently after not visiting for a while and decided to give it another try. It's located in a small strip mall with plenty of parking, which makes it convenient. I ordered my food to go, but they also have about four tables inside if you want to grab a quick bite. The bánh mì sandwich had good flavor, and the bread was soft and fresh, which really made the sandwich enjoyable. I also ordered the beef stew, which was well seasoned and full of flavor. I ate it with bread, and it paired really well. You can also have the Beef Stew with noodles or rice. I also enjoyed the crispy pork egg rolls. They were crispy on the outside, flavorful, and a great mix of pork with mushrooms inside wrapped in rice paper. Overall, the food was tasty, and I'd definitely consider stopping by again when I'm craving a bánh mì or a comforting bowl of soup.

First time here, we all had a sandwich and it was good we all liked it. The service was friendly and quick. The restaurant is small but clean and nice. I'm glad we stopped and tried this, if in the area I would go again.

A decent banh mi place with quick service. This place offers a sort of greatest hits of Vietnamese food on the menu: banh mi, pho, and milk tea. I so appreciate the ample parking here since it's in a strip mall. I received service with a smile which is always a plus.

Stopped by here on our way home. We were very hungry so I did not get a chance to even take a photo of our meals. We ordered rare steak pho, bo kho beef stew and a chicken rice plate. No one had any complaints. As a matter of fact, the chicken rice plate was praised and kid approved. Once she took a bite she said "this is yummmmyy" The beef stew was delicious. It had a hint of sweetness. What I liked about their soup is that they don't give you a ridiculous amount of noodles. It was just a right amount in comparison to the rest of the soup. They put a great amount of beef and I wasn't even able to finish all of the beef. The inside is pretty small. I think only 3 or 4 tables. It seems like they do a lot of DoorDash orders. The ladies that helped us were all very nice. I watched how they interacted with all the DoorDash drivers and they treated them all kindly.

Get the fried spring rolls!!! These are the authentic Vietnamese kind with mushroom, meat, and vermicelli inside wrapped in rice paper and fried! I got a party tray of egg rolls (actually spring rolls) and they were a hit. The roll filling from Bun Me is also generous. It comes with mild dipping sauce. One order is 3 rolls. They pair great with the Banh mi sandwiches from here! Ofc the BM sandwiches are also great. I prefer the lemongrass chicken or pork since I want less food coloring and I love the lemongrass flavor. This team is on it! They are responsive on the phone so I always call in my order for pickup. The sandwich size is also a good filling portion. It's delicious - crunchy bahn mi style baguette packed with meat, pickled radish and carrots, cilantro, and optional jalapeño. There's also seating indoors so you can dine in and get your food right as it's prepared. I've tried a couple other menu items but my favorites are the sandwiches and fried spring rolls (the veg egg rolls are better for those who like a good basic egg roll, but the fried spring roll is what's exceptional).

Absolutley horrible. Hardly and broth in the phot soup, the rolls collapse when you pick them up and the peanut cause is water thin. This place needs to close its doors

First time coming here. It's a small place in a strip mall. They have a couple of tables inside and outside. The staff is friendly and the service is fast. I order the steak bun me it's was delicious. The bread was perfect and the meat was tender. I also order the Crispy Spring Roll. It had the perfect crunch. I will definitely be coming back.

Super cute and close to csun! It's a small shop with a walk up counter. The service was quick and they brought it to our table. Most orders are made for pick up, so we were the only patrons. I ordered the steak Bahn mi and it was perfection. The French bread was fresh, the carrots were perfectly pickled, and it was a great dinner over all. Highly recommend if you're craving Vietnamese :)

You can never go wrong when visiting this Bun Me location. Their steak bun me is delicious along with their summer rolls. I also got their beef pho before too and I thought it was great. I would come here once a week during covid lockdown for my lunch because the price was very reasonable at the time and the lady who own the place is very nice. My wife really enjoy their chicken pho and pomegranate drink. Before if you dine at the place and get a bun me sandwich, they would give you some Vietnamese chips but not anymore. The parking situation is limited here but it's easier now because there are less stores there. There also limited seating inside because there are only 4 tables which can fit like 2 people at each one. They have 2 tables for outdoor seating as well. Their prices did go up because of the current economy situation but it's not like a big increase. I would recommend coming here if you haven't been yet.

AHHHHHH! FINALLY some BUN ME! its been a minute since I've had their delicious sandwiches and Pho! As always their grilled pork bun was perfect and so were their shrimp summer rolls. Everything remains fresh and of great quality. Their service is still just as good as the first time. Its always busy here, from what i experienced around 1 pm. rather small dinning spot but its so worth it. To go orders come out fast! hope to come back soon!

Stopped by for a quick pick up order. I ordered the pho 2 item combo (rare steak & beef balls ftw). I noticed the soup was leaking in the bag so the staff repackaged it thankfully since I had a half hour drive. The sandwich was delicious and much needed as my first meal of the day was at 5pm. Would be tastier if it had more pate. It looked like a small quaint eatery. There was a shared parking lot with other businesses and it was pretty full when I visited.

Unfortunately, almost nothing hit the mark! The pork chop was completely dry! My son took one bit and wouldn't touch it again, and my mother had to force herself to eat half hers. Even the pickled radish, my daughter's favorite, and carrots were off! They were watery with zero vinegar flavor. My daughter spit them out! Every single bowl of broth tasted sour and awful. The noodles also tasted old and stale. The only salvageable part was the meat, so we just ate the protein because we were starving. Though, the meat was flavorful, the texture was tough and a little chewy. When my mom paid for the check, my husband politely mentioned to our server that the broth tasted sour, just as a heads up in case other customers complained. The server spoke with the kitchen and kindly refunded a portion of the phos back to my mom's cc, which was appreciated. If you looked at our table when we left, it looked as though we barely touched our meal. In our haste, we should have just returned the porkchop, too. After posting about our disappointment on IG, four other people chimed in agreeing that it was the worst pho they've had, too (all four are Asian decent, two being Viet themselves). We definitely won't be back.

7/20/2026: We finally made it back and returned to the scene of our first Vietnamese Cuisine…read moreexperience from the early '90s. This "joint" we were introduced to by a Vietnamese colleague seemed so unique and magical! It was nothing fancy, the tables were perpetually sticky.. but every morsel we tasted was served with such pride, and it was delicious. That was then. This is now. The interior has since been renovated, the furniture updated and gone are the tables wrapped in shipping tape and cardboard to keep them steady. It looks nice! The small side area of the building where the aunties used to clean and prep the fresh veggies, basil, mint, cilantro.. is now a full up boba bar with a sweet smiling lady behind the counter. There were no less than 6 employees wandering in the dining area and not one addressed us when we walked in until we called out to them. I'm no royalty demanding to be served like a princess, but can you say HI and offer a table? They have at least a dozen tables in the dining room, and only 2 had patrons so they weren't busy. It was around 6:30pm so the dinner rush had passed. We needed to wait about 10-15 minutes for friends to arrive so we asked for menus, water and I ordered a salted Plum Soda which you can't really find at too many places outside of Orange County. It was refreshing on a hot day! I was shocked to see how abbreviated the menu had become. Out of the Pho So 1 locations we have been to, we always felt this one had more dishes to choose from including desserts. This menu looked shorter than the one in Granada Hills (on Devonshire) and when I asked one of the young ladies about the dishes I can come for, she shriveled her nose and said "we don't have that". In particular I wanted Bun Cha Ha Noi.. and was suggested to get Bun Thit Nuong as a substitute. Ok, they both have pork and both have a form of rice noodle, but that's where the similarities end. When our friends arrived, they sat down and immediately they wanted to take our orders. Friends asked for drinks and some time to peruse the menu. After a few more visits to take the meal order we finally made our decisions. The food came out quickly. This is always on point at the Pho So 1 locations. No complaints! But our friends had to ask again for their drink orders and got a little side eye. They asked nicely and were nothing but polite. This just didn't feel right. The experience was so lackluster I didn't even take any pics and if you've seen my other reviews, that's not me at all. Am I spoiled because I've been exposed "the good stuff" in our adventures to San Gabriel Valley? Maybe. But I'd still go back to the Pho So 1 spots in Gardena (the guy who manages there is amazing and should give lessons!) and Granada Hills (Devonshire, not the newer one on Chatsworth which was also disappointing). Leaving this here so my fond old memories don't bring me back to this spot in Reseda. 30+ years later, there are a lot of other choices to satisfy the need for Vietnamese food.

She's been coming here since before they upgraded the space, and from what I understand it's run by brothers. The family is really nice, and it definitely has that local neighborhood spot feel. The main reason she brought me was for their **bún riêu**, but I have to be honest -- it didn't really taste like bún riêu to me. It was still good, but the broth had more of a tomato-y, clearer base and felt like its own soup rather than a true bún riêu. I was also surprised they didn't have **shrimp paste** available for it, which felt kind of odd. They do have **bánh bèo** and some other Vietnamese dishes, which I thought was cool, and overall everything we tried was okay. I've had a different soup from here before, and I've also gotten it delivered, and I'd say the experience is pretty much the same across the board -- decent, solid, nothing bad, but nothing that really stands out for me either. That said, I'd still come back because my girlfriend enjoys it, the family is sweet, and there aren't a ton of Vietnamese spots I've tried out in the Valley yet.
