Watch for overages!!! I was quoted a price. (I asked for everything included.) I was given a price, "out the door" was what the man said. Now they want to charge extra for alignment!!! What good is a new set of tires if they don't inflate, balance and align the tires? (I was told out the door!) If I hadn't complained, they probably would charge for air and balancing!!! We yelled back and forth! My opinion is; if for example, you agree to do a $40.00 oil change, they can't start charging for an oil filter. It's supposed to be included in the price! This place is awful! They sell cheap, not branded, tires for a ridiculous amount of money. They sold me a tire for $110, which was not even a brand name tire. The tire didn't last me a month, and it popped on the freeway. I bought the warrenty, but they are still charging me for it like if it was new. They don't sell used tires here. I was looking to purchase 4 new tires for my car, and after going to the actual dealership ($550+ quote), Discount Tire Centers ($450+ quote), and Costco (who were unable to quote me for some reason...), I called up Burbank Tire Pros, where I received the lowest quote and even though the grand total came to a little more than initially stated, my original quote price was honored. I was in and out of there in less than 40 minutes, with a warranty and free road-side service included. These guys are super personable too... during the wait, we all started chatting about soccer (Liverpool!) and other miscellaneous topics. Tire Pros?! My a**... If you don't know the difference between a Porsche 911 and a Boxster, you should not be working on cars. Ever! I came in for an alignment and balancing of the tires. No big deal... An hour later and with $83 less in my pocket I drive off. However, the steering wheel is straight and the car is pulling left. So I turn around and they make the adjustments. 10 minutes later, the car is done. Same symptoms. U turn. Now the car goes back on the lift and they start from scratch, without telling me what's going on. I ask the manager, and he tells me "nothing, everything is fine, just adjustments." I decided to ask the younger technician while the other one is test driving my car, and he tells me they aligned the car according to a different model specifications. Really?! I'm in here for two hours, no apologies at this point. I drive off and now the car pulls to the right. U turn, back on the lift... At this point I'm hoping to get out of here soon with a car that drives safely. As I'm complaining to the manager (Ohan) about the poor service, terrible communication, them wasting my time, and still NO APOLOGY, he tells me his MAIN guy (Richard) doesn't come in on Mondays and he didn't want this technician touching my car anymore. WHAAAAT?! Can I come back another day? NO! I'm sure they can change a tire properly or patch it, but I'm never taking my Porsche to the local "Tire Pro" anymore. Back to the dealership it is. Got a screw in my tire. They told me 16.00 Manager said $20.00 He was Not happy with HIS new employee I Didn't like that. He said ok for $16.00. They told me another screw was in same tire That I should get it fixed. I said yes if in same tire. They didn't give me an updated price. I expected to pay $16.00 They told me 30.00 due to other nail. I paid because that tire guy was new and I didn't want to have him lose his job. So far I've had minor work done, oil changes, fix tires, wind shield wipers and I've been completely satisfied every time. Shout out to tire pros! My wife texted me and said her tire was almost flat. I thought it just needed air and said I'd look at it when I got home. As she had to get our child, she thought it should be attended to immediately so she pulled into tire pros up the street from us. The guys told her that it could be a patch or something more serious but they would first look at it and let her know. She was out of there in less than an hour, there had been a nail in the tire, they fixed it , re-inflated it tested it and when she said she was a first time visitor they told her "no charge, welcome !" Just updating because good mechanics are often hard to find. Took both cars in for oil changes and such and Richard had some recommendations. Car 1: 200k mile and more and so we did the change to all synthetics including some transmission and power steering flushes and refills with synthetics. Now I questioned it a bit but I knew from experience that fluids really do effect a cars performance. Had two long road trips since, both in excess of 1K miles and the car runs noticeably smoother and an increase in MPG to the tune of 10%-15%. Car 2: Started with oil but, he found things that needed to be made right including repairing parts that some knucklehead Glued on parts of the engine. He made it right so that even my wife noticed that it drove "Way Better" than it had previously. So yes, proper maintenance is not free or even cheap but, With one car in excess of 220,000 miles and the other at around 179,000 miles and they both are nice and reliable... that's good for me. I will refer anyone I know to this shop. read more

I've been going there for almost ten years. I had a time when my transmission repair didn't seem right, and I took it back and it was made right free of charge. It was not Richard's fault--he hired a transmission shop to fix that part--and they took my car back and made it right. I'm only talking about this experience so that you know that if you are not happy, they will make it right. He's done dozens of repair jobs for me and all were perfect. Hugo and Harry always handling business and very thorough and the mechanics do a proper job, I always notice a positive difference to my car. If something has gone wrong they have ALWAYS taken care of their warranty work. Never leaving me hanging. I have read some of the 1 star reviews on here and they're lame reasons and seems like the customer just isn't knowledgeable of what they want. Stop blaming the company for you wanting to take the Cheapest way out, or something just happens to go wrong afterwards. It's not their fault Sh** Happens. Do your research on what you want or part(s) you need and you'll be surprised What you can learn from pricing to durability. I happen to be a person that does not trust mechanics AT ALL, but I trust the staff up front and the mechanics putting in the work At Burbank Tire Pros. I've found my mechanics!!! Stopped in to have brakes checked and get a quote. Not only was Ohan very personable and polite he got my jeep checked and gave a quote within 30 minutes. Richard took the time to show me the brakes while giving options to help me stay within my budget. While waiting for the bill (which was very reasonable) noticed them helping an older gentleman, they were kind, knowledgeable and friendly to everyone that came in the shop. I needed a new hybrid battery in my 2010 Prius, which is an expensive fix. The dealership was going to charge me $3800 for it! I found a website called The Hybrid Shop, which certifies people to refurbish batteries and recommended some local spots to me. Burbank Tire Pros was my first call and he told be they were doing a special deal installing refurbished batteries for $1995 (+tax) for a full install! It sounded too good to be true so I made some more calls and found some other places around town but no one could came close to beating that price. Ultimately what sold me was that he said he'd be able to work on my car after he finished installing hybrid batteries in a few Prius taxis. If he's good enough for a taxi service, he's good enough for me! Those guys wouldn't go to just anyone. In person, Richard was friendly, informative and very helpful.
