Great burger. I don't think I've ever had a 2/3rd pounder anywhere else, and they even have a full 1pounder (3 1/3 lb patties). We ordered the Double Ds, onion rings & fries halfsies, and a pastrami. The burger was exceptional. Flavorful without being too greasy or salty. Well arranged and wrapped, and stayed perfectly together with every bite. onion rings were great and fries were steak fries. Me my wife and kid passed by here and we loved it! We got the boss and the western both really good burgers! Nice size. Also got the regular size chilly cheese fries which were massive cant wonder what the family size looks like. Although the fries were a bit salty but nonetheless still pretty good. I've heard good things about this place. I know people who will come up the hill just to get a shake from this place and I now understand why. Gv location: Ordered online website emailed me told me my order was going to be ready in 20 minutes. My order was the western and I think the double with two shakes. Total of 36 dollars. I sent my guy inside to get everything. He got the food and stood away from the front because the girl said we are making your shakes now. 25 minutes go by, I walk into the store and ask for my shakes as now my food is cold. He finds them in the freezer. Why could the girl communicate with the other girl? Why didn't the shift lead step in when I told him I had been waiting for 30 minutes and my food is cold now? 36 dollars is expensive for cold food. My burger wasnt good and I can only assume it's because it was cold. My shakes were a little melted. This is the Second time the ice cream department takes forever. Wow! I made it to their second location! I love this little place. As with the rest of planet earth we've been locked in our apartment due to the virus. Today, being possibly the nicest day of 2020, we had to get out of the house. We live in downtown San Francisco so I just put the auto cruse on and bam! It was nice to enjoy the heat. We took the day just to drive up here and enjoy. Maybe a little bit extreme but we had nothing better to do. Come here and enjoy. I truly hope this small little company continues to grow. I'm a little embarrassed by how many times we've been here already. But that should tell you something. Our family collectively has tried the Spicy Johnny, The Guido, a Pastrami Sandwich, The Western, The New Fashion, The Chili C, Chili Cheese Fries, Waffle Fries, a corn dog kids meal, twisties, shakes, and sundaes. Phew. Every single thing was good and worth having again. But a few definitely stand out. My fav: The Spicy Johnny. So flavorful and it packs a serious punch. It's the best kind of spicy that is so good, but it doesn't linger around forever. I'm still thinking about it. With a nice meaty chili and so much yummy cheese, the chili fries are a close second. The Wife's fav: Pastrami Sandwich. She says it's nice and flavorful and some of the best she's had. My FIL really enjoyed his western. He doesn't say much. Our 3 year old mainly just speaks French fries and ice cream right now. The kids meal came with a huge portion of fries for a little dude so he was thrilled about that. Unfortunately, the last three times we ate at the Auburn location, the music was too loud and horrible at best. Even outside, there is a speaker. They turn up the music so they can hear it in the kitchen. Don't need crappy music ruining my meal. Food is still great, but I have revised my rating down two stars. We would look forward to our trips to Auburn simply because we could stop at Burger and Cream. Now they are in Grass Valley and I'm just over the moon! I have had burgers from all over the country and I can say with zero equivocation that these are the best I've ever had. Well now Grass Valley has "Burger and Cream" in this spot formerly occupied by the south end location of Pine Street Burgers. As most know BC is the former Foster's Freeze franchise in Auburn. Burgers and Cream is sort of like a super deluxe version of Foster's Freeze, with a broad selection of Ice Cream/dessert offerings along with tasty burgers, tacos, hot dogs and more. For our dinner we ordered the family size fries and the "Double D" burger along with the New Fashioned burger. - Burgers served very fresh, great toppings, bun quality is awesome. Everything about the burgers was awesome. Also a great value. - Fries served hot and fresh, but may not be everyone's taste as they kind of look like the ones you buy in a bag at the supermarket. Still, cooked well and not overly greasy. Vibe. The restaurant has indoor seating, high ceilings and is very modern and up to date. Most staff appear to be still getting used to their new duties, but doing a great job. The interior was kind of loud with only 35 percent or so filled, it must be impossible to hear in there with a full crowd. It's a shame they do not have a curb service or drive thru, but some will disagree with this. Parking is adequate with many small compact spots. I highly recommend this restaurant for a quick bite to eat or a delicious take out....the food is crave worthy and not just a filler like a lot of fast food. read more

Ok, right off the bat I see they have self serve ranch, BBQ sauce and Sriracha, so that earns them an extra star. Also it's great to have a family owned fast food place in the area, I'd much rather support them than J in the B, etc. They place looks nice and clean, including bathrooms and open kitchen. My food came out quickly even though they were pretty busy. Burger was great, perfectly cooked and juicy with fresh lettuce,etc. I got the Boss burger and a side of fries. Now I was just saying the other day that I wish that there was a place around here to get crinkle cut fries and then, bam, here they are. My only complaint would be that the fries were not quite piping hot. I was REALLY looking forward to those fries so the lukewarmness was a little disappointing, but it's only like their third day open so I'm willing to give them another chance and wow me with their fires. read more

Went the day after their soft opening because I couldn't wait any longer. Tried the new fashion burger with Tillamook cheddar and chili cheese fries. Burger was juicy, ingredients were fresh, chili was outstanding! Considering they just opened this restaurant I was expecting some hiccups while they work out the kinks, but everything was fast, friendly, and quality was fantastic. Went on a drive with a friend last week. On our way home we decided to stop off here for an Ice Cream Cone. From what I understand this used to be a Fosters Freeze some time ago. At first was disappointed that it wasn't a Fosters Freeze but as we stood in line to order I looked over the menu. I had a chocolate Frosty and my friend had the vanilla/chocolate twisty. We were not disappointed! Our ice cream was creamy and the servings were generous. I'd like to add that when we were ordering I could see burgers cooking with melting cheese on them -- they looked and smelled oh soooo good.
