We've officially found a new Wednesday date night spot! Every week we drive up to Sacramento while our daughter is at Rio Tennis Academy for a couple hours, and it's become our little tradition to try local spots. Tonight we checked out Burger Bros and WOW... so good. I ordered the Deuce burger with pickles, lettuce, and grilled onions--absolutely delicious. The fries were just as good (honestly, a huge portion... I couldn't even finish them). I also tried their root beer, and it wasn't your typical chain soda--it had a unique flavor and was really good (and that's saying a lot because we rarely drink soda). What I thought was really cool is that during the day it's a breakfast spot, and at 5 PM it switches over to burgers. The owner was super chill, friendly, and really attentive. We ordered at a kiosk, but he still came by, brought our drinks, and made sure we were taken care of. You can tell he cares about the experience. There was a steady flow of people coming in and out, and it looked like a lot of regulars were ordering ahead on the app--which is always a good sign. Price-wise, I paid about $15 for a burger, fries, and a drink, which felt totally reasonable for the quality and portion size. Now, for full honesty--my husband (who is VERY critical about burgers ) said his was good but a little too cheesy for his taste and gave it a 4/10. Meanwhile, my daughter LOVED hers and couldn't stop eating... until she hit the same wall I did with the fries being too much! As for me? Easy 5 stars. Very inconstant, meaning this place opens when its convivence. Surprise they were actually open On Monday when we were hungry and had a craving for some burgers. Door was shut and lights off the last few time we stopped by... -FOOD: BRO's Double Dutch: was actually very good. Meat was seasoned and smashed to perfection. It was good. We got sucker into upgrading to "DELUXE" on the burgers...sounds good, but the lettuce they use is WACK. Leafy green mix don't belong in a burger, need some ice burg to make it right. Not sure what else was the difference. I guess I just like a good old fashion, hella smashed meats, grill onion, pickle and ketchup burger. -The FRIES: yUUmmMMYYyy...me and wifey ate the whole basket. figure licking good. Burger Bros is such a great little spot right down the street from me! There was no line, and the food came out fresh right away. The burgers were super juicy, the fries were really good, and the prices are honestly hard to beat. The service was great too--very welcoming, and it looked like his kids were helping out, which made the whole experience feel even more special and family-oriented. Food was good,fresh, and reasonably priced. The music in here is on point! Lol they're jamming 90s feel good music. It wasn't busy only some pick up orders so it was peaceful to eat my food here. I asked the young lady to pause on making the second half of my order after I ate so I could take it home to my daughter fresh. She had no issue with that & was very efficient with me explaining that although we were ordering the same meal, I wanted to exchange grilled onions for raw onions and her cheeseburger would have no onions. Sounds pretty simple, but these days I've noticed any slight deviation from the standard order there's more than not a mix up! We were craving some burgers and found this place on yelp near us! What a wonderful surprise, it was one of the yummiest meals I've had in awhile! The burgers hit the spot. We got the bromance with two singles, fries, and a drink. We upgraded to deluxe, which is lettuce, tomato, onion added onto the burger. The sleeper hit was the chicken tenders, they looked underwhelming but my god, I loved them. They are the spongy kind of texture inside and crispy on the outside but not hard. The fries were similar to the Popeyes Cajun fries! Overall, everything was so so good and I will definitely be coming back! Price was also so reasonable and the best part was the servers! It's inside another restaurant that's breakfast focused, keep that in mind when you pull up. Diner type atmosphere and you gotta order on your phone if you don't have cash. Staff were great and food is cooked to order, trust the wait. I am not big on fries but these were good to me. Best Oklahoma style smash burgers in Sacramento. Limited hours which is unfortunate, but I still make my way over when I can. Rocklin spot isn't too bad either, but I still prefer the Natomas location. Natomas has unique drink options compared to just regular Pepsi products. I usually get a regular and western add bacon burgers. The meat is properly smashed with a nice char. The sauce is good and the buns are nice and soft. A proper bun for a smash burger since many spots are using thick af buns which is overpowering a thin patty. I'll end my story here read more

Friday Night DoorDash Craving = Crushed Took a chance on this spot after seeing all the 5-star hype -- and they did not disappoint. I ordered the Double Dutch burger and wow. Perfectly seasoned, still warm, and super satisfying. The included fries were crispy and held their own. The Monster fries were the real surprise -- thick, curly-wedge style, topped with a smashed cheesy burger patty, secret sauce, and just straight-up deliciousness. Also grabbed the jalapeño poppers (cream cheese filling, no ranch) -- and honestly, they were solid even without it! Luckily, I had some garlic ranch at home to dip, which made them even better. The menu's simple, but everything we ordered was on point. Pricing was surprisingly reasonable too -- $23 for two burgers and fries! Usually, when you go to places like this that are serving foods that are trending, they don't always hit the spot. I've gone to Burger Bros in Natomas and their new location in Rocklin. Both of them are absolutely amazing! It is a bit deceiving because they are inside of the restaurant hot off the griddle so it's not something that you immediately see when pulling up but once you get that burger, all confusion will be in the past lol the service is friendly, they seem like they are a family owned business and since it's inside of another restaurant, there's usually not very many people inside, so it's always clean when I go. One thing I didn't wanna point out though is I bought their loaded fries with a patio on top at each location and they don't give you the same type of fry. The one in Natomas does them perfectly but I did have an issue with the one in Rocklin because they provided me with these weird potato wedge type things, and they were not up to par. read more

Been waiting for a chance to try Burger Bros and today was the day. There is no signage other than a menu on the left side of Hot Off The Griddle. Since HOTG is only open til 2pm Burger Bros opens up at 5pm. It's best to use their App to order since it's only a two man crew. We ordered the double smash meal which includes 2 double cheeseburgers fries and a drink for $19. The burgers are good sized and very cheesey. The fries are ok nothing special. The real star are the Monster Fries think In N Out Animal fries with a smash burger patty on top. The fries are wide cut with a ribbon pattern cost is $7.50 andyou can make it a double for another $5.50. These fries were so good I was thinking I will skip the burger and just order monster fries lol. My only complaint here is the $2.50 upcharge to make your burger western, deluxe or kicking. The condiments added are not worth an extra $2.50 to a burger that costs $7.50. Overall good food and friendly service. Burger Bros is one of the better burger options in the area. read more

As a cheese lover, I really loved my burger! The fries were like a beer battered fry and I really liked that too! As a veggie lover, my boyfriend did not love this, and didn't like having to pay extra for lettuce/tomato/pickles. Birger Bros is a little hard to find. There is a sign next to the door however, it can be easily missed. It is like a ghost kitchen inside of Off the Griddle. When we walked in a young man immediately greeted us, he turned out to be The most attentive and pleasant server I have ever had. I'm guessing that his parents run this place.And he gave up his evening to help out. This is so commendable these days. It seems as though most of the orders are doordash or to go orders. This is cash only, and if we wanted to pay with a card which we did.We had to scan a barcode on the sign at the door and order. The software they use is fast, easy and reliable. We ordered and got our food in less than five minutes. We had two double burgers, jalapeno, poppers and french fries with a vanilla cream.Soda. The food was above average.The poppers were actually very good.And the burgers very tasty and filling. This night here it was calm and peaceful and we were able to enjoy a great meal in a peaceful, pleasant place. I give this place five stars all the way around. Per yelp review it said was open. We proceeded to go there for dinner at 5:15pm but it closed on Friday until further notice. Also the burger bros shares the same building with breakfast place which is very confusing. They definitely smashed my eating plans and not in a good way. This one's a bit tough. FOR THE MONEY not bad, not bad at all. But what I experienced here was a very nearly perfect burger in every aspect except for the beef patties - which is kind of a major deal with a burger. Practically no beef flavor, and when I could detect that it tasted more like a cross between Philly cheesesteak, stew beef, and meatloaf. However this was my first time trying an Oklahoma style smash burger and I think that might be what was at play there. I love grilled onions on a burger but actually cooking the patty on them is probably changing the beef flavor in a way I didn't really care for. But with all that said a double cheeseburger for $7.50 and with everything ELSE totally on point is nothing to sneeze at, and I'd still certainly pick it over any fast food burger. Unless you pay cash, you have to go back outside and order from the poster QR code. Then go inside & wait. Although the young man working said you can eat there, literally no one eating onsite. My burger was a run of the mill "delux" burger with a scant amount of special sauce, onions tomato & lettuce. It was freshly made but nothing extraordinary. The fries are strange. They look like burnt shoestring fries but have some type of batter on them. Generous serving but no one in our party liked them. They also don't give you any kind of sauce or even ketchup.
