My friends and I went to this BurgerFi and we were extremely disappointed with our orders. I ordered a CEO and got a swag burger. My buddy also ordered a CEO and got a traditional burger and it had nothing the CEO had. There were four of us and the lady at the register successfully rang up 3 that were wrong and 1 that was okay. But he didn't receive the cheese he preferred. We asked if we could get a refund, or a switch of burger, and they declined. The burgers were okay, that's why I'm giving this restaurant a second star. Besides that, it's a one. The atmosphere was okay. We went around lunch time and it was us plus one other person. The real question is, will I ever go again? Burger fi is a good burger. Better then most local places. I found that the burger is done right and tastes good. The bun is cold and not warmed and that I'm not a fan of but that's a personal thing. I find they are also pretty salty so if you don't like too much salt probably tell them to ease up on that. My current one was cooked a med with a light bit of pink in the center. Great food, great service, fun place! Had to grab lunch on the go over the weekend and Yelp guided me here. I had my doubts as I soon discovered there was a parking issue and wondered if a "gourmet" burger place might not be such an expedient lunch stop. I was pleasantly surprised. Lunch came about 5 min after I ordered... barely had time to finish my Yelp check in :-). My gold standard is 5 guys and this place hit it.. Even though it was two small patties rather than one big one, the beef was good quality and not overcooked. The fries were both good in taste and portion size. Another bonus is that they had sweet tea available, even though Virginia should be in the sweet tea belt, it can be hit and miss in NOVA. I was so impressed with the service here. They were friendly, engaged, and attentive. My hubs is a burger fanatic, and since this is nearby we've tried it three times. Cool decor and music, mostly decent food (albeit pricy), but we probably won't go back... see below for the reason. We tried: -Burgerfi burger. Decent, basic burger. Sauce is yum. -Beyond Meat burger. Ick. This could be done SO MUCH BETTER! It came out lukewarm and very soggy. Would benefit from a different cooking method and burgerfi sauce instead of mayo. Also, charging $.50 to do a lettuce wrap is cray. -Fries, both regular and cajun. Or experience of their fries has ranged from awesome to poor, depending on the day. On a good day the fries are long, hot, and tasty. On a bad day they are cold and we only received small bits instead whole fries. Portions are good. -Onion rings - Run of the mill but tasted good -Kids meal. My daughter is obsessed with their grilled cheese. It's just american cheese in a flattened, grilled bun, but she loves the crispiness of it. Happy that they serve applesauce add as side option as well as Honest juice. We decided to give this place a try so we came here on a Saturday shortly before 5 p.m. These days, we rarely go to Leesburg so every time we go we're always surprised to discover that there are new shopping centers---like the town center-like one where Burger Fi is. Getting in and out of there is no fun as it is busy and congested. It doesn't help that there is a Wegman's there either LOL! So, after finding a place to park, we entered Burger Fi. The dining area isn't very big but at least it is bigger than Melt Gourmet and has better spacing between the tables. The place is loud due to the music that is played. After looking at the menu, we placed our order. The clerk who took our order was friendly. As other Yelpers pointed out, no one asks how you want your burger cooked. My husband ordered the Burger Fi Burger which consists of "double natural Angus burger, lettuce, tomato and Burger Fi sauce". I did a "build your best burger" which had a single burger, American cheese, lettuce, tomato, fried egg and bacon. We shared an order of fries plus we each got a soda. All this came to $22.05. After placing our order, we were given a beeper. The soda machine is a new one with a touch screen. By the machine, are sauces and ketchup and tiny paper cups for them. Also, there are straws and an unusual machine that dispenses plastic knives, forks and spoons. It took a minute to figure out how this machine works. Basically, if you want a knife, you turn the machine to the side with a drawing of a knife, then you turn a handle and out pops a knife. My husband pointed out that this machine takes much longer than just grabbing a knife out of a container. Once we grabbed a table, it didn't take long for our burgers to be ready. When the beeper went off, my husband picked up our tray of food. As for the burgers --- We noticed right away that the buns weren't branded with the Burger Fi name. What? I was kinda looking forward to that. We was robbed, I tell ya! LOL! One thing that impressed me about my burger---I thought the size of the toppings was just right. Some places go overboard with the lettuce. Here, it is a very reasonably sized piece. The tomato slice was very red and ripe. The fried egg was perfectly cooked as the yolk wasn't hard and the bacon was crispy. The burger didn't have any pink coloring to it but it was still juicy enough. My husband enjoyed his burger. He said that the Burger Fi sauce was sweet and he appreciated that they didn't go overboard with it as it didn't overpower the burgers. The fries were cooked in peanut oil and reminded us of Five Guys' fries, although we did think that they were a bit overcooked. All in all, we both agreed that these burgers are a solid 3 stars. I am so disappointed reading the negative reviews on here! A couple of tips: 1) Keep in mind this is GRASS FED BEEF so it will be pricier! 2) Don't order brisket or anything that's not a burger specialty -- they are called BURGER-Fi because they specialize in BURGERS! I got the Classic Cheeseburger and added my own toppings of lettuce, tomato, mayo, onions and extra jalapenos. I loved my burger SO much. I wish I had a bigger stomach so that I could've eaten more. Recently, some of my friends have debated over what the best burger in the DC area is. Steadfast minions of Five Guys like my best friend have argued that the East Coast chain is still king. While other more open-minded critics like myself have championed well known venues such as Ray's Hell Burger, Bobby's Burger Palace, etc. This past week, a friend of mine introduced me to BurgerFi in Leesburg, and now I'm not sure what to think (and that's a good thing). As far as burgers go, BurgerFi is definitely a contender for the title of best burger. The meat was well seasoned, the home made buns (branded with the BurgerFi logo) were delicious and the plethora of toppings made crafting your ideal burger a piece of cake. I went with the Breakfast All Day (BAD) burger. Toppings included a fried egg, bacon, hash browns, and maple syrup. I asked for BurgerFi sauce on the side and ended putting this on the burger as well, and it took the burger to an even higher level. My immediate reaction after consuming the burger was that BurgerFi is better than Five Guys. Is it the best in DC? Only time will tell as I've still got many places to try...but for now, BurgerFi is in the running for best burger I've eaten in the DC area. ***Side note. BurgerFi also has wagyu (kobe) beef hot dogs. I had to try it, just cuz I love wagyu and kobe style beef. It was less than par, especially sitting next to such an amazing burger. The restaurant also has a bunch of great shakes and specialty drinks floats and orange/purple cows. I tried the Red Velvet shake. While it was tasty, it was very thick, and not something I'd order again as my regular drink to accompany my meal. But as a dessert, it was great! read more

I've had this burger joint bookmarked for quite a while and finally I decided to try it this past weekend with my fiance. Since I had a bad experience from another burger place the past week, I figured I'd go to a different place to make up for it and boy, did it make up for the bad one! When we walked in, the line was to the front door so it was about a 5 wait in line which wasn't bad at all. In that time, we both read over the menu and knew what we wanted right away. When we got to the counter, the cashier was very helpful and nice. They have those cool soda machines with tons of selections, sweet/unsweeten tea and fresh lemonade and strawberry lemonade. The strawberry lemonade was my favorite, it wasn't too sugary and had the perfecr amount of strawberry. They also have drafts available as well as all types of different shakes to choose from. I decided on building my own burger. The single with cheese, fried egg and bacon. The patty was small but at least it was juicy and very well seasoned. The bacon was perfectly crispy. The best part is that it wasn't greasy at all and my bun wasn't soggy. My fiance got the breakfast all day burger which had a fried egg and hashbrowns and maple syrup on top. Whaaat! He said it was delicious but I didn't try it. It looked like a 10 mile run type of burger and mine was already bad enough. The burgers were about $6 each and it was worth every penny! We also enjoyed a huge portion of the Urban Fries, which are regular fried topped with parmesean and herbs and a garlic aioli on top. YUM! And it was only $5 for that heaping amount of fries. They also have other toppings you can get on top of your fries and also gigantic onion rings for sides. They also have a hot dog selection with different toppings. There are plenty of seats indoors and also outdoor seatings. I am a burger fanatic and this place is definitely top 5 for food chains. Delicious and affordable, and like everyone said its a high end five guys. I am giving it a 4 because of the portion size of the patty. So while driving around looking at houses in Leesburg we spot this little village similar to Reston Town Center and figured we should spin around and take a peek.. Best decision of 2013 so far! As walked around the shops and restaurants I pulled out my phone to see what Yelp had to say about all the places in the village. Burger Fi caught my eye on the way in and the reviews were amongst the best in the village. When we went inside the decor was really cool and I immediately noticed my old friend super Coca-cola machine, 150+ combinations on the touch screen, love these things! They also had beer on tap and bottled. The place was crammed with people so I knew there had to be something to it but we were able to get a seat by the window. The menu was really extensive and featured a lot of unique combos. I had the B.A.D (breakfast all day) Burger.. It was incredible. Double patties with home fries, eggs, bacon, and cheese. My wife had the Burger Fi cheeseburger which was also great. We shared the fresh cut fries. When you place your order they give you one of those buzzer boxes to call you when it's ready because everything is made to order. The prices were pretty good too. It took about 10 minutes to get our food and I was super impressed with the Burger Fi brand on the bun. Everything was sooo good, I have absolutely no complaints. Located in a really awesome shopping center that has a lot of awesome stores. There's even a Wegmans next to it. Prices weren't ridiculously high but it's a little much for driving that far (from Fairfax) for their burger. You get a choice of getting a burger that they already created or making your own. Let's be honest, making your own is much better. They also offer hot dogs. I got the burger with lettuce wrap instead of a bun.... My mistake. The whole thing fell apart and I ended up eating it with a fork. Not their fault completely, I should've known. There is multiple toppings and sauces to choose from for the burgers. And of course I loaded mine up which may also be a reason for it falling apart. The burger was juicy and I love the way they seasoned the other toppings. However, my egg was over cooked so no runny yolk :( They have a special sauce that they make, which tastes similar to elevation sauce. It tastes like its ketchup and mayo and one other ingredient I can't put a finger on. We also got the fry and onion ring combo with the cheese and garlic aioli on it. It was perfect. The onion ring was crisp and it had a really good mix of the breading and onion. This is a pretty good spot if you're in the area but I don't think I'll be back unless I'm closer. We chose this place because of how good and consistent the food is. I'm sitting inside, waiting for my name to be called for my order. I am on a call with my brother and I haven't heard my name for 5 minutes. Instead of coming over to tell me order was ready or bring it over to me because I clearly didn't hear my name called, they banged on the milkshake station glass towards where I was sitting. I looked up and two of the workers were standing there and the one that knocked said "you're order is ready" in one of the most degrading and rude tones of voice I have ever heard. I love Burgerfi burgers. To me, they are better the others. I was reading The Loudoun Tribune community newspaper that came in my mailbox and saw that Burgerfi now sells a grilled chicken sandwich. I had to try ir because nobody can really compete with Chik-Fil-A in that arena. Well, I was wrong. Burgerfi's chicken sandwich has a great, tasty piece of chicken, with Burgerfi secret sauce, lettuce and tomato and comes on the bun or their bunless (lettuce bun) option. It was great! I typically like to get the single Burgerfi burger, which is pretty basic but delicious. I have tried the breakfast all day burger, and that was tasty as well. I just wish the egg was runnier. The fries are perfectly cooked. Be warned that the onion rings are gigantic! As for the shakes, I tried the black and white shake and enjoyed it very much. There was no bun, just lettuce wrapping. The fries were shared and excellent for three of us! The husband ordered their bacon cheeseburger and said it was one of the best burgers he has had. He also got a side of onion rings and was impressed with the quality, not too greasy and more onion than batter. To end the meal we ordered a shake to go and it was the prefect consistency. By the way...they are all about going 'green', love seeing places like this in our area!!
