This location is horrible and the "Manager" Wilfreda has no business being in management. She cannot even manage her own behavior. She yells at the employees telling them how horrible they are, loudly in front of the customers. They seldom get the orders right. They commonly over charge and then are offended when you tell them. Their cleanliness definitely leaves much to be desired. They frequently will give you dirty cups or sandwiches not folded resulting in the goodies coming apart. At the Westlake Burger King place they have the best delicious meal ever. They have the chicken club sandwich burger with bacon, Fish Burgers, Classic whopper burger, BBQ sourdough burger with bacon, French Fries, Onion Ring, Strawberry milkshakes & Chocolate milkshakes. I wanted the two croissants, one coffee, and one order of hash browns. I pressed the correct order on my app. Somehow the $4.00 order came up with one croissant. Talked to the rude manager, Wilma. This woman is crazy! She kept talking over me and insisted that our order has two croissants and kept pointing to the receipt which clearly has ONE croissant. She said "See look at the small print. It says two croissants." She is the most unprofessional and idiotic manager I ever encountered. She touched my hand too! I have never heard of giving my phone to someone to use Apple Pay. Every time I have come here they will always take out the machine for me to scan with my phone . Today, this ride old Filipino lady with glasses told me she cannot put out the machine for her safety? I guess it is okay to risk my safety for you to touch my phone . Then she had the nerve to ask me for credit card. This is type of customer service she gives them why bother to work there? When a late night craving for fast food hits, and you're on the road you await a sign from the Great Above - and there it is! Burger King - a standard in late night dining. So tonight, just a quick snack for the road from this location at Westlake (Daly City). My first trip before ordering, however, was the restroom facilities. Strangely, and forgive the details, but the men's room had only a toilet. Hmmm, okay. While I was not in need of a toilet, per se, I did notice during my visit there that there was no TP in the restroom. None, and worse, no paper towels, just an air dryer for the hands. I think this is a big no-no in restaurants as it raises serious questions of hygiene issues for visitors and workers alike - and I'm about the get food from these people! Yikes. The TP holders, in fact, were so rusted out I'm not sure they ever held TP - very odd, and I can't remember seeing such an issue before in a restaurant. After I regained my professionalism (as all Yelpers must do at times!), I ordered my large fries to go. The young man ringing me up then asked, "here or to go?" Apparently I had hit my mute button halfway through my order, as I had clearly instructed my mouth to say "Large fries, to go, and that's it." Oh well, better safe than sorry. So I dutifully handed over my legal tender, and received a receipt time stamped 9:39pm. In the next few minutes only 3 people came to the counter to order (everyone else likes the drive through it seems). And at 9:48pm, I'm alone and wondering how people are leaving with bags of goodies and I'm waiting for the dang fries! Really! Now I'm not happy - TP, having to repeat a simple order (okay, maybe the TP did get to me more than I like to admit), and now 9 minutes and counting for an order of fries. Just fries. Good grief. A minute later, the manager asked if I had the large fries. Bingo! You got a winner!! He bagged my fries, admittedly hot, and fresh, and handed them to me. I swaggered to my car, and continued on my journey home. A few minutes later, already driving and a bit away from the restaurant, I had a couple of the golden planks of potato for which I had waited a full 10 minutes - fast food my foot. And I thought, well, they're hot, fresh, crispy and potato tasting. Too potato tasting I thought, but I couldn't place the "why?" into that thought. OH NO THEY DIDN'T, as I realized why the potatoes tasted like potatoes. I remember my doctor telling me at one time to lay off the salt, it was bad for my blood pressure. That is true, mind you, but do you know what is much better at raising my blood pressure to alpine heights?! NO SALT AT ALL on those d@$& fries!!!! I tasted more, and more, and not a single grain of salt. No wonder they tasted like potatoes! Look, I know salt is bad, but we expect it on fries from these places. If you think it doesn't matter that salt is absent, ask for an order of fries without salt and try to eat them. You"ll see what I mean. I was too far to turn around, and it probably would've ended poorly after my other observances at this location, so I put them aside and took them home. Tomorrow I reheat and anoint them with plentiful sodium chloride sprinkles, as the Great Above intended. As for this BK location? I've said enough, but if anyone can figure out how fresh fries got out without a salting, please let me know. read more

Have you ever been carded buying fast food? Have you ever had the person carding you stare at your ID and Credit Card while slowly saying your Asian name glaring at you as if you are not qualified to be named as such? I was horrified, humiliated, and furious. I cried when I got home. I was demeaned in front of my daughter who was also angered by this. What is the matter with people? Where is that old woman's decency? Professionalism must not be in the employee handbook. Unprofessional and racist at best. They didn't let me use my reward code to get my points for my multiple food items, according to the drive thru employee who took my order, you MUST AND ONLY can tell them your rewards code at the order intercom screen. When I have been to other locations and it hasn't been a problem if I tell them my code at the window even before I pay them.
