SERIOUSLY!?!?! Go to Colma Burger King Tacos have been available for over 2 months. If you want tacos...in fact if you want anything, go to the one in Colma at the Metro Center. Management and/or Ownership are ridiculous. This particular Burger King, 2 tacos per order. So I went through the drive thru because I wasn't dressed nice enough to walk in and feel comfortable. I was told, if I want to get 6 tacos, I'd have to drive around 2 more times. I wanted 3 tacos I'm a big guy. My mother likes the tacos and she was interested in 3 also. Their reasoning is that at the promotional price they only want to give 2 tacos per order, so I asked, what is the regular price? It's the same. I went inside, I wanted to order 4 more tacos. There is that computer printed sign again, 2 tacos per order. The management is very firm on the policy, which means the ownership is very firm on the policy. Though it's not Burger King Policy. As I write this review. Tacos aren't one of their top sellers. In fact as I write this, it's day 2 of Popeyes selling their new chicken sandwich, where they are also only giving 2 per person, per order. In that case, I understand, the line is outside the door. In this case, they just don't want your money. They're perfectly willing to make you jump through hoops to get 6 tacos. I am writing corporate as soon as I'm done. The food was good and I was there on a Friday afternoon around 12:30. I felt really bad for the guy who had order number 50 is he was an hourly worker waiting for food I was number 56 and I got my food before him. he told the burger king staff and was very polite letting him know he needed to go because his lunch break was over and to give him his receipt back and he would get his money back later. he told them I'm on the clock and I'll get in trouble if I'm late he was an older Caucasian gentleman who I believe was a painter. the manager quickly grabbed whatever hamburger was available through in the bag and gave it to him. We came in to redeem our TMobile Tuesday burgers. My app glitched out and I lost my coupon for my free Whopper. My date still has his, we get to the register and ask to redeem it. The manager on duty said it's only available on Tuesday. Tuesday is when you're able to get your coupons from TMobile, it's redeemable whenever you'd like. The register lady refused to even try it and the manager said "It's obviously says Tuesday only." Which the app never said it was only redeemable on Tuesday. Yes, I am about to review this place. In the middle of tuesday, after running a few errands we both are hungry and need something to eat. So we see this stupid place and I ordered their chicken caesar salad, and my significant other ordered a mushroom swiss burger with coke. And we decided to go to beach. Haha, that was a big mistake. First of all, let me say that Burger King's current tax controversy isn't being taken into account when writing this review. Only the food and customer service are being considered when reviewing this Burger King. (When I'm running late and don't have time to cook breakfast or lunch. So it's around 9am-1pm.) However, the food isn't really healthy, so I'm trying to stop. When I drop by, I usually just order a whopper, some fries, and a drink. With that being said, I've noticed several things. 1) The elderly foreign ladies who work the drive threw (usually there's an old Asian woman who takes your money in window #1 and an older Latin woman who gives you the food in window #2) have a hard time getting your order right. I'm not sure if this is due to age or that English is not their first language, but it's a problem. You have to be very patient with them and extremely polite. (I get paranoid that the kitchen staff can hear while I order, think that I'm being bitchy or something, and purposely f*ck up my food...) So if it's slow inside the restaurant, I highly suggest you just go in and order. It's much easier. 2) The same ladies I mentioned before never learned how to ring up any type of coupons, no matter how many times you bring one to them. So if they don't ask for it when you drive up, do not voluntarily give it to them (unless the price is wrong). If you do, they will have to get management to help them and you will have to wait. 3) The quality of food seems to be very inconsistent. One day you'll get served fresh food, the next, no matter what you do or say, you'll get served older food with stale buns. 4) Be careful when ordering extra ketchup and mayonnaise. They'll dump large globs of the stuff on your sandwich and it'll get everywhere (all over the sandwich, the wrapper, you, etc...). 5) The whopper is the only food worth ordering here. Everything else, including the fries, are kinda dull and not very good. 6) The bathrooms really need to be cleaned more regularly and maybe remodeled. (It looks like the men's room used to have a partition, with a door, between the toilet and urinal, but someone ripped it off the walls...) 7) It might just be me, but the prices at Burger King seem high compared to other fast food places around here (McDonald's, etc.). However, it could just be that my experience here always seems "less than" and that's coloring my perception of the menu. I have a tendency to crave shitty burgers late at night whenever one of my girlfriends comes over to my place, and more often than not, we're clad in our usual comfy, cozy, IDGAF sweatpants and hoodies, so I love the drive-thru option. Plus it's usually a pretty ghettolicious kind of crowd inside, so we enjoy our burgers back at my place. Sucks that it's open only until 11PM, though. That, and the lady who usually works the late shift barely speaks and understands English, so it's pretty embarrassing to stick half your body out the window and scream out, "EXTRA PICKLES!!!" for her to understand you. While the location is convenient, right off the one of the main roads into the Westlake Plaza, it also stanks. Literally. I ordered an Impossible Whopper and they did prepare it as ordered. Got my drink from the hi tech fountain and it was flat. So much for hi tech. The floor was dirty and there was not a clean table. We managed. The order came up fairly quickly. The fries were not ok - unsalted and just not right. The Impossible Whopper was just ok. I'm agreeing with Laura review on 10/22/10-alittle embarrassed writing a review on a fast food place.... My husband and I wanted something fast and we ended up at BK. I got the bacon steakhouse burger meal and instead of soda I opted for the vanilla iced seattle coffee, my husband got a whopper with cheese no onions meal, 7-up for the drink. We get our meals and soon find out that the whopper my husband ordered HAD onions. We go back, he goes in to let them know he ordered NO onions and even had the receipt stating this. In the meantime, I'm taking a few bites of my burger which are not satisfying. I'm not sure why but I'm not liking the burger. Maybe because it was lukewarm and the cheese looked like its been sitting on the burger for awhile. My husband comes back and says they were giving him a somewhat of a bad time about trying to get the burger he ordered. He said on of the workers stated those aren't onions but lettuce.................wow really?? when we got home, I tried to even add mayo to the burger that had BBQ sauce in it -- -which I don't care for. This review is only for their dessert. Came in yesterday to try their warm brownie sundae and bF wanted a soda. The total came up to almost $8 O_O ...gaddamn...how much were their sundae? $2.49 ea. I got two plus their med soda is like $2. Jeez...I should've just went to Walgreens across the street. Their sundae was pretty big though compared to their pictures, which is good. I can't believe I'm reviewing Burger King. Anyway, I hate this fucking place. Not necessarily because of the food, because I'd rather starve than eat at WacArnold's or Booger King. Ok, not really. My husband wants me to say in this review that the older Middle Eastern or Eastern European lady who works the drive-thru is the only nice person who employed here. This place needs a new management or they just need to shut down all their food delivery apps at night and not use them at all. There can be 20 cars waiting and backed up through the parking lot and the cars are all the way out into the road and they just don't care, you can see them chit chatting and giggling with the drive thru customers and taking they're sweet little time joking around, walking like turtles, they might even be sleeping in the kitchen who knows. This establishment should learn and adopt what McDonald's, Jack in the Box, and Taco Bell are doing at night to provide more efficient and a better service to thier customers since they choose to accept doordash/Uber eats orders at night. One of the doordash delivery I had was 2 1/2 hour late . Even Nations across the street are 100x faster and they have to make and cook thier food fresh to order. I dont get why people are hating on the staff. I havent had any bad problems with them. It does stink the minute you get near the door though, so that is not a false statement, must be built over the sewer or something like a septic tank. The whackest thing is that the original chicken sandwich here is made for crap. Also, you notice how ever sandwich got super smaller.
