I had my first Whopper in more than 20 years--and my first visit to a Burger King in nearly as long. After seeing the company's "There's a New King, and It's You" advertising campaign featuring its president, I was curious whether Burger King had finally addressed the soggy, over-sauced burgers that fell apart after a few bites, the dirty dining rooms, and the lackluster service I remembered. The improvements were immediately noticeable. The Whopper is unquestionably better. The flame-grilled beef patty still delivers the same distinctive smoky flavor that made it famous, but nearly everything else has been upgraded. A generous layer of crisp lettuce, thick slices of juicy tomato, fresh onion, and crunchy pickles gives the burger a refreshing texture and a fresher overall taste. The mayonnaise and ketchup were applied in just the right proportion--generous without overwhelming the burger--and evenly spread across the top bun. Just as impressive, the burger was carefully assembled and held together from the first bite to the last. I later learned that Burger King introduced a richer, creamier mayonnaise specifically designed to improve both flavor and structural integrity, and it shows. The most noticeable improvement, however, is the bun. The Whopper now comes on a softer, fluffier sesame seed bun that elevates the entire sandwich. Burger King also switched back to cardboard box packaging, preventing the burger from getting compressed or soggy during service. This is the best Whopper I have ever had. Even better, Burger King made these upgrades without increasing the price of its signature burger. The fries were golden crisp, lightly seasoned, and every bit as enjoyable as I remembered. They have always been one of the more underrated fast-food fries. The restaurant itself was clean, spacious, and well-maintained despite being located in a rougher part of town. Service was friendly, and ordering was quick and efficient. Kudos to Burger King for its first major Whopper overhaul in more than a decade. The softer premium bun, richer mayonnaise, improved packaging, and greater attention to quality have transformed a familiar classic into a genuinely better burger. I work early morning 7 am and late nights 10 pm and Have stopped by this location numerous times for them to tell me they don't open for another 2-4 hours or are closed a hour and half early. I understand if it's posted for your location on the door but most people don't have time to stop by to figure it out. If your store is posted online to open at 6am then it should be as well as too 11 and not when the manager or whoever feels like it. Very unprofessional and bad look for the company. read more

I've been to quite a few BK's in my life and I'd have to say this is pretty much one of the worst. The have a drink machine that is turned off. The workers have to get your drink. No biggie, but the reason they give is it is because of the pandemic. C'mon BK, let's move on. The rest of the country has moved forward, take notes. No refills on drinks. They had no idea what the zesty or fry dipping sauce is. There was like 4 of us in the dining room. So not busy. The worker behind the counter was just standing there. The dining room was a mess. There was like 5 tables that were super messy. The floor had things all over it. The cook and front worker were yelling back and forth about an order. It was just a really bad experience. Lots of homeless people trying to hit you up at this location. I offered what I could and my "leftovers" but enough is enough. Also, ordered mozzarella sticks and they were disgusting. They looked over cooked after being cooked twice already. So over cooked the cheese inside looked the breading on the outside or that it had been overfried first and then breaded and cooked again... and again... and again. Yucky and dry! The cheese tasted nothing like mozzarella but like a very bad, old, dry bleu cheese, kinda like soap. We asked them if this is what it is supposed to look and taste like and they said the recipe/cheese inside was recently changed to what we got. Ew!! Whatevs!! Not bad not bad. Burger King is the "quick" go to for a good juicy hamburger. Grabbed 2 whoppers and they were cooked well with the toppings perfectly added to fill the whopper. Grabbed 2 today and must say they were perfect for us. Cooked well, not burnt, not over cooked and was juicy just like you see in the actual Burger King commercial. The drive thru sign needs some attention as the signs were falling off and 1 had a big blank space of a sign that fell off. Drive thru wait time was a little long then normal but what drive thru isn't? Beats waiting in that crazy line that circles around the whole parking lot of any In-n-out that you see. Do you like cluster fucks? This is the place. Easily the busiest BK in town, but that's probably because of all the zombies, homeless & mentally ill people that congregate there. Taking up employees times with requests for free stuff like water, napkins, straws and requests to unlock the bathroom. An adult daycare of sorts. Inside, people were gyrating, singing and dancing. A man had a babystroller filled with debris and recyclables. I attempted to place an order and half way through, some lady walks up and interrupts me by asking a question, about applications, to the cashier.........and the cashier engages her. Not, hold on or ill be with u in a minute. And soon the cashier is leaving and going to the back to look for someone, in the middle of my order. Then the cashier charges me for the wrong item. Refund is handled by shift leader. Meanwhile, this person who rudely interrupted my order, is now outside with the manager, who has the keys to the restroom. Every other group that comes in the restaurant has a person that needs to use the restroom. Now there is a line to use the restroom. The pancakes & sausage I ordered were placed in a Whopper container with the sausage on top. After only 5 minutes, the sausage had soggafied the pancakes and they were useless I just wanted the money back. Shift leader comes back to the register and tries to discourage me from wanting a refund by telling me my bank is going to put some of money on hold. Trust me dude, I can go the 4/5 days without the 4 bucks. Ill struggle through it. No apologies given either. Just uncomfortable glances. Came here at 10:25am for breakfast. Breakfast ends at 10:30am. At the drive thru I was told they ended breakfast early. That they ran out of items. I talked to manager and didn't offer anything to compensate for the inconvenience or that I drove 20mins to go to this Burger King. And if they were without a few items then why not still serve breakfast and not the few items that were missing. Terrible location. I waited in line for 20 minutes for my food. I only stayed because you can't back out or drive off. At the drive through on speaker a sign read no ketchup onions, nuggets, iced coffee, no orange juice, no sprite but it was to late I had to order. When I got my coke it was nasty and traded it for Dr Pepper all was lacking syrup just fizz soda light hint of taste. After waiting my fries were cold. Never going back again. Me and my family went to Burger king because we had a coupon, we get their and there was a customer arguing loudly at the manager because he couldn't get a refill on the drink he bought because he stepped outside with the cup. Then I ordered a whopper with extra onions and cheese, fries, nuggets, and a drink. The drink dispensary had no ice so we had to get it through the back, and the drink options were little to none and they didn't taste good. My burger was missing the onions and the cheese, we took it back and they gladly made me a new one. But my fries and nuggets were cold so when we took those back also they now had an attitude. Mind you it was the manager taking our orders back because there was no cashier. The burger was dry and was already cold by the time I got the rest of my food.
