Would give 0 stars if possible. This Burger King sucks. They always forget something in your order. Tonight they forgot 3 of the 5 burgers I ordered. Then when I went back up there (about 10-15 minutes later) they just packed up the cold burgers that they had forgotten to give me in the first place, and sent me on my way. The manager avoided any sort of eye contact. My bad for not checking because they still shorted me a burger. I wish that this place would burn down and every body workin there would die in a horrible grease fire. read more

OMG!!!! I just went to BK in Martinez. At first I though they were close when I went in. Than a guys walks in I asked oh r u guys closing? He said no. I just threw the garbage out. He came behind the counter to take my order. After taking my money he than went to open the freezer to get my tacos and handled it to another guy working. He was cleaning something towards the back area Lord knows I didn't see that guy change gloves or wash his hands. So I called on the first (Johnny) and asked him shouldn't u wash your hands since u came from outside to throw away garbage. He told me he used hand sanitizer. Oh no. That doesn't make it ok or clean enough for u to touch food. He said it's the same thing. I said no it's not. U threw away garbage so u should wash your hands. I just went through the drive through and the employee was SO unfriendly, pretty much just rude. I ordered an original chicken sandwich and a medium soda. He said it was $9.00 something (I don't recall the exact amount). I said "$9.00??" and he said "yes" very matter of fact. Ok, fine so I drove off and naturally there was no receipt in my bag. I looked up the cost and it should have cost about $6.09 plus tax I guess. This isn't the first time there was rude, crappy service here. And I honestly believe I got ripped off. When reviewing fast food chains, I rarely mention the food (unless relevant), as it's pretty much the same all over. You get what you get. I can't believe many here who Yelp are Burger King virgins, so will make this comment solely on my experience at this particular store. I come here, to this restaurant in Martinez, about once every one/two months, when hungry in the area. And this location is ALWAYS understaffed, with varying degrees of wait. Today, Nov. 10, 2010, I came in at about 2pm (still within the window of lunch), and there were only 2 employees on duty; one covering the busy counter and drive-thru, the other cooking all the food. With only one couple ahead of me, it still took 8 minutes to order, and another 4 minutes to get my order. Heaven help the people behind me, how long they had to wait. Yes, the employees were working as fast as possible, and I do NOT blame them for this circumstance. They were doing the best they could. I do blame the Manager on duty, who was just sitting in a booth, yapping with several employees on break. I've walked-out of this restaurant 2 other times for long wait times, and came close today, but was really needing a special BK item, so I was patient. What are managers for but to fill-in when customer service is failing? This location is routinely poorly managed, and today was the WORST example of such managerial laziness and apathy to customers. read more

Worst BK Ive ever been to. It's not the food and it cant be the employees. It is whoever runs this place. They are so understaffed it is not funny. Last time i went in there I waited 15 minutes for 3 people to order in front of me. The poor lady had to take one order then fill multiple orders in between the next order. She looked so stressed. OK this is my second time eating here in a long time and both times now i have GOTTEN SICK!!! i know its burger king because i usually only eat one meal a day unless im really hungry. I come here to this resturant on my lunch break and i have to say that i am very disappointed not at the employees because i know they are tryning their best on servng their customers but very DISAPPOINTED on the management whom ever owns or runs this place has no skills whats so ever to run a business because they are always understaffed it looks like their employees are being over worked due to the understaff employees. Something has "gone south" with the meat that Burger King uses in their hamburgers. It's tasteless and has a rubbery consistency. I've grown up a burger kind fanatic so I can tell the difference. I've tried it 3 times and all three times in the last 3 months and the meat was tasteless. I won't be going back but it's ashame that their quality has deteriorated so significantly. read more

Haven't been to a Burger King in years but came because I saw they had the impossible burger. Definitely won't return to this location. The 2 guys that were working today were very unprofessional. When it was my turn to place my order. The young man at the counter rudely says "yes" to me instead of hi how may I help you or something along those lines. When I said I wanted the impossible burger the other guy scoffed at hearing that and announced if he could work naked back there because it was too hot. Came here and got three meals for the family to eat in the car before heading back home. All three burgers were cold, we went back and they wouldn't open the door so my bf walked up the drive thru to let them know that the meals were cold and the girl at the drive thru just seemed annoyed and had attitude. There was no attitude given until she gave us one. They took the burgers we had which of course we had already taken some bites from and they just threw them away (such a waste & so sad) when they could have easily just let us have them especially due to Covid places don't usually ask for food back. They did give us three new burgers that were warm but the whole experience was super annoying to say the least. The fries were barley warm as well but we let that slide. Wish there was a NO STAR OPTION!!! If I knew how to contact (actually get hold of someone, voice prompts dont work) to file a complaint to the food and drug admin I would. I've spent months trying to resolve a stupid $5 transaction. It's not the money that I care about. Burger King no longer heats up their breakfast croissants with that being said I ask for them to be extra hot so I can avoid a luke warm breakfast sandwich. This particular morning I waited 6 mins for the car in front of me. To receive 2 stone cold sandwiches. Of course you pull away from the window and find this out. If you want poor customer service, old bread that falls apart when you pick up your burger, watery breakfast sandwiches & always want to go with choice B because they're out of your choice A, this is the place to be. This is really the most awful fast food restaurant ever. Sometimes it smells like old grease. Sometimes it smells like open sewer. Sometimes the doors are propped open. Most of the time the fancy "freestyle" Coke machine is out of literally everything and you need to have them fill the cup from drive through fountain. My order today was for their Bacon/Cheese Burger. It turned out t be nothing like the pix I saw. The bacon, which was a slice cut in half, was nothing like the pix shown when driving thru. I was very disappointed, as I have always liked and enjoyed what I have ordered and gotten at this facility. Not sure if I will ever return. The place has a playground for kids, and there is a drivethru. The place is right by Highway 4 and a Taco Bell. I have gotten many toys here in the past, and the workers here are helpful and friendly. The food is good, and parking is decent. It is a great place quick place to go to before going on the freeway or after seeing a movie. read more
