I'm sitting in the Burger King parking lot as I write this, eating a Big Mac from the McDonald's right next door--and honestly, that contrast says everything. I originally came here for the Royal Crispy Chicken Sandwich. The menu photo made it look thick, crispy, and worth the stop. What I got instead was borderline comical. The "fillet" was so thin and overcooked it looked like it had been pressed through a mold and forgotten in the fryer. Dry, tough, and barely resembling an actual piece of chicken. And just to remove any doubt--I broke out my calipers (yes, literally) and measured it. The thickness was laughably undersized. This wasn't just a bad sandwich, it was objectively a fraction of what it should be. At that point, it stopped being disappointing and started feeling like false advertising. Texture? Like fried cardboard with occasional stringy bits of chicken. Flavor? Overcooked oil and regret. Value? Nonexistent. So I walked next door, grabbed a Big Mac, and immediately remembered what fast food is supposed to be. Juicy, balanced, fresh--it completely reset the experience. Still sucks, don't bother. Locally from West Bend, haven't been to this location probably in 1-2 years due to every time me and my family go, it's disgusting. Was in a hurry this AM and of course there is no line EVER here, so I went to give it another chance. Well....the lady that checked me out through the drive-through was extremely friendly and nice, thought they must have changed staff, this is great, it's going to be good! The wait was fine, decently fast. Ordered an iced vanilla coffee, ham, cheese and egg croissant, and the little hash browns. While checking out saw a young girl working behind the kitchen, my guess is 12 years old, Burger King shirt and all. (Bring your kid to work day?) Any who, ate the sandwich, it was good, hot, and flavorful. Next, the coffee. disappointed right off the bat because there was barely any ice and I for sure couldn't even do the shaky shaky thing with your coffee in the morning with the ice sound smashing against the cup. Tasted it, and it tasted like chocolate milk with creamer in it. Now had to go elsewhere to get a coffee to start my day. Hash browns, extra crispy no prob, that's how I like them, but then the grease pours out... they were oddly darker and either old or I think they possibly dropped them in the fryer a second time to warm them up when I ordered them. So greasy the grease was soaking in the bag and also all over my car seat. All in all, it will be another 1-2 before I would even return, and if so, it will be in deportation, yet again. Again, what I say about this place being better than the red,white and yellow clown still holds true. I love biting into a burger that I know is real meat. On the other hand, my last visit left me with some thoughts about service. Still, the burgers are better than the competitor. read more

I went into this Burger King at 7 pm, it wasn't busy at all no one in the lobby, short drive-through line but it took them over 10 min each to prepare my order and my friend's order. Also, they did not have the necessary "ingredients" to make the new churro fries from the Adam's family menu items, did not have the proper cheese (swiss) for the "Wednesdays whooper" they used American cheese and they did not have the proper cookie crumble for the new "Morticia kooky chocolate shake" the service was lousy, the wait time was atrocious, and did not have half of what they needed for the new menu items, they said they never got them, but the only thing they had was the stupid purple bun. They offered no discount or raincheck for the items they didn't have...no help for the inconvenience! Not sure I will go back to that Burger King ever again! read more

For the last 10 years or so I have been going to McDonald's when I wanted a breakfast sandwich. Today I went to Burger King. Here's why; McDonald's no longer cares. They do not want to take your order and expect you to order at a kiosk. After a while they will come to the counter but usually annoyed because they do not have enough help. Then there is the cold stark dining area where all the McDonald's were remodeled . Nasty seats and tables were installed, and the cushioned booths were removed. It's as if they're saying, get out, we don't want you here. Burger King by contrast had a warm, smiling friendly face at the counter ready to take my order, and the dining area was very comfortable. Not stark. So I think I'm done with McDonald's and Burger King will be, more than likely a regular stop. read more

1 star is too much. Worst burger king ive ever been to and I only go once every few weeks. I needed a burger and McDonalds is too busy. BK had 2 cars but I sat there for 5 fucking minutes! Nobody moved! I've been to this bk a total of 4 times since 2019. It's fucking ridiculous that NOTHING happens in drive thru for so long. I used to be a manager at a taco bell and we were NEVER that bad. Get some fucking staff or something. I'm all about giving second chances but fuck that. Fuck this burger King. I'm sure they'll see this and laugh. I remem one time in 2021 i stopped in and my soda tasted like shit. My fries were ok. The burger was garbage. I thought I got covid again and lost my sense of taste but I could smell the collective b.o. from everyone in there on my food. My Mello Yello tasted like sprite that came out of someone's ass. Ok in all seriousness, the food and service is terrible. It's like a fast food Applebee's. Actually, it's like a.... drive thru Applebee's because it's not fast at all. It has been awhile since I left my last review of this BK. While they have improved on somethings they still need improvement. I have found my way back to this BK but still cannot give them 5 stars. The service has improved as in faster service and friendly employees. Food seems fresher and better made and not just slopped together. But every time I go they forget something. NOT good. It's pretty hard to find a Burger King with a playland these days, but there's still a smallish but nice one up in West Bend, WI. Multi-level, good for kids aged 3-6. First, the bad news: there's a Galactic McDonald's with a much larger playland just a few miles away. The good news? Parents with kids get tired of McDonald's food. There's something about the flame-grilled burgers, great buns, and even the pickles at Burger King that make them a welcome change from the ordinary now and then. I suggest an occasional visit with kids. It'll break the monotony of McDonald's. read more

Two cars in line, mine and the one in front of me. It was 2:50 in the afternoon and it took 9 minutes before someone took my drive thru order. This is ridiculous!!! Both myself and the car in front of me had very small orders so there was NO EXCUSE for this wait. I Always hesitate going here because of this terrible service. Today was no different. One car ahead of me, (they also seemed to be waiting) and still the longest wait ever. Whopper was good, but french fries were definitely sitting in oil for too long. They were hard and dark brown. So theres good and bad to this place, they good is that they actually keep their place clean, and they have a nice sitting area for customers. But the bad is that the employees there are rude and they mess around while they have a customer waiting for their food and there was no one there and my family and i waited a half an hour, we had a simple order that should of only taken 15 minutes at the most. But its bad when our dog doesn't even eat it. I wouldn't recommend this place. Its not worth the time or the money. read more

My significant other and I went through drive thru we ordered the 2 whopper meals for 8.99 Now mind you on TV they show a whopper loaded with tomatoes, onions, lettuce, pickles! Well ours we with brown lettuce hardly any onions one slice tomatoe the size of a quarter! Needless to say our days of going to that Burger King in West Bend are over! Burger King improved their menu a number of years ago and it was good enough to get us to come back. This particular restaurant was the first one that we returned to and we had excellent steakhouse burgers that day. Sadly, we do not always get the same quality at other Burger Kings for some reason and recently we had poorly done burgers here. This is discouraging for us and is slowing lowering our rating for Burger King and may drive us away and toward other places that do a better job. read more

The food was good hot and seemed Fresh to taste. As for the playland I highly suggest someone clean it. I crawled through with my son an you can tell they dont maintain cleaniness. My Daughter gave me a used band aid she found in there that had someone else blood on it. Highly suggest going through before letting your children play! read more

The West Bend burger king has really gone down hill. The service is awful and very slow. The food is always luke warm or cold. I was there yesterday 3/2/19, I waited 10 minutes at the drive through and I was the only car ! I will never go back to this location and I would not advise anyone else to either. On a recent holiday trip I was in search of a chicken biscuit which is easy to find where I am from but apparently "crazy talk" in West Bend Wisconsin. The issue here however is that Burger King could have made us one but didn't want to. When I asked if they served a chicken biscuit I was told NO but if I could wait a few minutes they would make any of their chicken sandwiches. I asked if they could place the BIG CHICKEN piece of chicken on a biscuit and leave it plain and was told NO way because that piece of chicken is huge and would never fit a biscuit. Never mind that I wanted 6 of them and was willing to pay the Big Chicken price of $4.20 each. They didn't even offer to just sell me 6 of the chicken and then 6 biscuits while allowing me to assemble them myself. At the end of the day I had to go to Piggly Wiggly and get the stuff to make them and did so at a much cheaper price so there is a silver lining. I have since bought a Big Chicken and guess what... THEY AREN'T THAT BIG. If you ask me, this Burger King just doesn't want your business or your money. read more

I was overcharged for a meal. When I told the cashier about it, he had no idea what to do. There were many people behind me, so I just let it be and went on my way. When I got home, I wrote a complaint through Burger King.com. The owner wrote me back and offered me a free meal. I told him that I was not interested in a free meal and suggested he retrain the staff so this does not happen to other people. He refused and was rather combative.
