The only reason I don't give 5 stars is the dent in your wallet (although you might find a coupon in one of those junk mail flyers from time to time). The food is superb and the service is fantastic. My 2 star score is based on quality of the food vs price. This was my first visit to this chain and the staff was very friendly and were happy to explain what BM was all about. I ordered a 6oz burger with grilled onions & mushrooms with lettuce & mayo and their smallest fries. I love the build-your-burger style and their choices for add-ons & of course fresh cut fries! After all this build up I was actually very disappointed with the food. My burger was bland, it didn't taste like it was seasoned at all but the fries are what killed this for me. They weren't crispy, and they had so much salt on them I couldn't even eat them!! They were completely coated with salt! Yuck. Like a sugar-coated churrro but with salt. I paid just under $11l. That is way too much for this underwhelming meal. If I'm going to pay $11 for a burger and fries I could name 3 other places that serve phenomenal burgers in a fine dining atmosphere with table service for a dollar more or less. I would recommend you skip this place. If you're looking for a quick burger go elsewhere because you can get the same quality for $5. read more

Pricey but a damn good burger. A double with fries cost $13 which is a bit more than Five Guys. It was amazingly fresh and juicy and the staff helped with the extensive menu. This will be good for a once on a while treat, not a regular stop. read more

It's a neat story about beef traveling from Japan to Texas to Florida. Regardless, the burgers are good. You walk up and order at the counter, picking your sides, not some pre made option. All the ingredients seems fresh and I enjoyed the experience. On the night we went, the manager was Myra. She was especially attentive, checking on our order and even offering to refill our beverages. To top it off, she heard my buddy's son was having a bday and gave us a free strawberry shortcake dessert. This was probably the best service I have received in a while. Thanks!!! read more

Have eaten here several times, but not on days they had weekday specials. Apparently, this is not a good time to come. The blonde taking orders ask, do you want your burger any other way that well done. I said no. Then we decided to split a fry and ordered a medium fry. She said you want a pound of fries? The sign says sm large and monster. I said no we want the middle one. She says we have a pound and a 1 1/2 pound fries, then I say ok we will take a small, she says a small is a 1/2 pound. I read the sign to her saying the sign says small, large and monster. Back to my burger that arrived to the table super medium rare, don't think that is medium well. Won't be back on a Monday! Would normally give them 4 or 5 stars but not tonight service was awful. read more

It's just ok. Burgers aren't very flavorful. Fries are soggy-greasy. Nothing crispy or crunchy and flavor is. Wet bland, even when you put toppings on your burger. Order at a counter, fill up your own sodas. It's probably better for you than fast food, but doesn't even taste as good (and I NEVER) eat fast food. read more

Hmmmm...I think this is the first time that I have pretty drastically disagreed with most other reviewers. I wasn't impressed with this place at all. For the price we paid we could have gone to Five Guys and gotten a much tastier burger and much better fries. Even the shakes were nothing special. Ordered guacamole to be on the burger for something different, but it was forgotten. They also seemed confused by their own numbering system and tried to bring us someone else's food multiple times. They have a great tasting veggie burger, that they say they make there. It's a great option but falls apart easily and is hard to eat. I still love it though! The problem is that the veggie burger is pretty much all you can eat there as a vegetarian. They cook their gets in beef fat and the place smells like that. I tend to get mine to go! read more

This particular Burger Monger is my favorite. It is always meticulously maintained and the staff is excellent. Most importantly the food always comes out perfect and promptly. Writing this review with the idea that they are still new and they will get better. My friend and I decided to try this place out because we never heard of it. They ended up charged us for two fries instead of one and they forgot to write pickles for one of the burgers. I kindly went up to one of the waiters and asked him to put pickles on both of the burgers and he said he would get on it (he didn't because it came without them). We also ordered chocolate milk shakes but they tasted awful (like a mixture of chocolate and mocha with a bad after taste). Not very good. Hopefully they'll get better but probably not going back. read more

What a rip off! $7 for a mediocre 6 oz burger a la carte. Four of us went because we had a $5 off coupon and it still cost $60 for burgers fries!! I'd gladly spend the money if it was a great burger or great service, but we experienced neither. My mother-in-law's burger was undercooked, so she asked them to cook it more and she got attitude from the cook about it. The fries came out about 10 minutes after the burgers (my brother-in-law was already done with his burger by that point). All in all a bad experience, I will not be back. Five Guys may not have TVs or the atmosphere of Burger Monger, but the food is way better and the staff is way friendlier. Lesson learned. read more

Yummy burgers! My husband was very skeptical about trying this place, since he already has a go-to burger joint. I finally convinced him to give it a try. After the meal, he tried to act real cool and nonchalant saying it was alright. The very next day around dinner time he says to me - I have to give props where it is due...I have been thinking about that burger all day- needless to say, we ended up eating there again. This place is pricey but the burger was very good. The fries were just okay. I still rather have the Golden Arches fries. The chocolate shake was chocolatey and delicious. (I prefer my shakes thick, though) this was kinda like drinking chocolate milk. For two adults and two kids the price tag was almost $50. So go in knowing this. read more

Got the regular 6oz burger with cheese. It was cooked well done (they didn't ask how I wanted it) and that kinda defeats the purpose of good meat. When it's well done you really lose a lot of flavor and juice. Fries were ok but they do them thin and I think thick cut fries gives a better potato flavor. Think Five Guys but pushed further into the gourmet arena. Crazy options for toppings, several options just for cheese. Special beef from some wygu hybrid cows and it shows. Not cheap a double burger and fries will cost you $15. I think it's worth it. Great little selection of beers is a bonus for a late weekend lunch. read more

They need to make some combos though instead of pricing everything by item... cmon.. i think it's common sense to have a fries and a drink with your burger. The strawberry milkshake was very good. So yummy. Had been wanting to try Burger Monger for while and decided to have dinner there tonight. Good decision. My boyfriend got the double monger with a ton of fixins. He gave me a bite and the beef was juicy and absolutely delish! I got the chopped salad with chicken and it was awesome as well. Adding the chicken is well worth the extra 3.49. You get a huge piece of chicken. The food was very good quality and tastey. We will definitely be back! read more

When I want a speciality burger I typically go to Burger 21, but it's a little far from my house so I searched Yelp for somewhere closer. Based on reviews, I decided to try BurgerMonger. The place was empty when I went in to order take out, but the employees were very friendly and welcoming. I ordered the burger with cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomato, grilled onions and mushrooms along with a 1/2 pound of fries. My food was ready fairly quickly and was nice and hot. Burger Monger is amazing!! The Burger itself was one of the juiciest, most succulent burgers I've ever had, I asked my Buger to be med rare and it was cooked to perfection. All the toppings were fresh and crisp, the bacon was perfect! Best shakes hands down too, thick and the cups they came in were adorable. I really liked the fact that the fries were hand cut, hands done one the nicest joints around. Lastly the waitresses were all so kind and friendly, it made the experience all the better!! read more
