On a business trip from Texas. I'm a burger snob, and I also make a mean burger with 85/15 Angus on butter-toasted, whole wheat buns. First, the good. Their fries are superb. Fresh and cooked perfectly. This saved them from a 1-star rating. The iced tea was delicious. Now, all the bad. The order line was way too long with only one person taking orders. I forgot to order, or at least request, a whole wheat bun. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger with lettuce, tomato, pickles and extra onion with no sauce. It took forever to get my food. I didn't see any Tabasco, anywhere. I must have large doses of this staple mixed into my ketchup. The burger patty was slightly above average. The bacon was nearly inedible, burned, dark and crumbly, and I prefer crisp bacon. The soggy buns were awful. I have to give them credit for not using red onion. Red onion is for looks, not for eating. The pickles were atrocious. I call 'em 'designer pickles' because they taste like they were pickled in perfume. Nasty. Burgers deserve traditional pickles! I was in a big hurry, or I would've taken that burger back and ordered something else. And then there was that loud, repetitive, annoying music. I think they played the same song the whole time I was in there. It could've been worse though, if they had been blaring top-40, cookie-cutter bro country. At 67, I seldom eat burgers and fries these days, trying to add a few more days onto the end of my life cycle. So when I do get a chance to enjoy one, I want it to be the best. This one was a huge disappointment. Learn to cook bacon. Discover real hamburger dills. Find a quality bun. read more

Ordered 2 chicken sandwiches and waited OVER AN HOUR!!! Asked the cashier to kindly check on my order and said it will be ANOTHER 20 minutes! I understand when a restaurant is busy, the food will take longer to come out however when I ordered I was not told there would be a "40 minute wait" while all of the other customers were in and out in 15-20 minutes. I actually went here twice this week. The first time I ordered a cheeseburger and onion rings. The burger came out medium to medium-rare (which I like), but if you prefer more well done you may mention it. Great flavor on the burger and the onion rings were big and flavorful. At first I only had 3 onion rings on my tray when I went to pick it up but the cook came out and said give me a minute and I'll bring you a couple more. He brought out a whole new basket! Too bad I didn't have any room left in the tank for a shake, since I read they were early good. Fast forward to the next evening. I went to eat elsewhere just to try something new but had to try these shakes. I came back and got the strawberry shake...excellent. I will be back before I head back to Texas. read more

Probably the BEST burger in the city and suburbs! I always get the veggie burger which is outstanding! This location: the owner greets EVERYONE and make certain everything is great. He came and sat and chatted with me and my 80yr old Mom - she even commented on how delightful he was! The restaurant is clean and the staff is on point. I tried this place last Friday despite many reviews of customers saying food was missing from their order. I called and ordered and was going to go in and pick up but when I noticed several guest not wearing mask I decided to call for the curbside drop. The employees are friendly and wear mask it's more less that obnoxious guest not adhering to covid rules. The reason I am writing this review Is because I paid 30 for three meals and only received two. My child's chicken tender meal was not included. I called and was told a manager would call me for a refund and still nothing almost 5 days later. Overall the food is bland. A man who works here came over, Ron, and asked us how we are liking everything and then we got to talking and he asked me if I like onion rings so he brought out some for Kayla and I to try. The burger joint trend hasn't really wowed but BurgerFi has reeled me in. Tasty and fresh, with a relatively diverse menu. I enjoyed the veggie quinoa burger and my friend enjoyed the double cheeseburger. We split a small order of fries and small custard with 2 toppings. Our taste buds were very pleased with everything and the price point was appropriate. We really liked the atmosphere too, especially the patio. The cashier at the register told me about the special that was going on that day where if I use the app I was able to get four dollars off of my burger. By surprise that was really awesome of him because most people aren't looking to help you save money. My wife and I went there for lunch and did not receive what we ordered. The food was ok, actually a little above average, but the prices were ridiculous. $27.00+ for two singles with a regular fry and a regular order of onion rings. The problem is I order a bacon burger and it came without bacon or the onions I requested and paid for. My wife's burger came without lettuce or tomato which is listed on the menu behind the register. I talked to the 'Momma Pam' and she was not apologetic and became defensive immediately. I was trying to make her aware of a service issue and she was acted as if I were a tax collector. Completely missed all the nuances of the situation, never apologized and then asked me what I wanted her to do. Really? I will not be going back and attempting to talk to the person that owns this joint to let them know what a dim wit for a manager they hired. FYI, she made me wait 10 minutes after I requested to speak with her. Biggest disappointment I've had in a long time. I honestly feel like I've been swindled. I've been here several times before and got great service and a great tasty burger. I always get the CEO which is supposed to be a mix of waygu beef and brisket and is usually juicy and delicious. Today when I went the burger patties were noticably smaller, more like a $1.50 double cheeseburger at McDonalds only much more dry. There is NO WAY that this had any waygu beef in it. So close to getting it right but failed miserably. I had the CEO and urban style fries. The description of the CEO boasted Wagu beef and a truffle aioli. The presentation was on point. The truffle aioli, delicious.... the one part you have to get right though is the beef at a burger place. It felt very similar to what I imagine the rubber sole of a Chuck Taylor's All Star Shoe would feel like if one decided to chew on it. I did decide to chew on because I paid $20 for a burger fries and soda. I considered comparing the two dried out Chuck Taylor patties to a fast food place, but in reality if they simply went down to the arches, got two hamburgers for .99 cents and slapped them on their bun they would have gotten 4 stars from me. What a super concept and what outstanding customer service! After a long and dreary move, with everything having gone wrong, I called burger fi as it is close to my new home. Never having been here before, I had a lot of questions. Liz, the young lady who answered the phone, was remarkable! She took her time and explained their concept, suggested a couple of items (all of which I purchased), Liz was personable, cheerful, friendly, and made me feel as if I was important. When I arrived I was greeted by both Liz and Juan. Obviously Liz is the reason I will be a regular customer (besides the fact that the food is delicious), but Juan took the time to explain their regular customer perks and was just as friendly. The cheeseburgers were great...juicy, flavorful, and filling. The onion rings were great too....keep in mind that they aren't the standard size onion rings. These things are massive!!! The fries is where they lost me....I mean the fries were greasy, and had no crisp to them whatsoever. I would not order fries from here again!
