a burger and a drink on a table
Virginia B.

My flight was delayed 2 hours so decided to eat here because they are one of the few places that have brewed sweet tea. Lucky that I got one of the cushioned seats, rest are steel. Not very clean. Didn't see anyone cleaning tables. VERY rude employee at the place where you pick up your drink cup. They have fountain drinks as well as the tea and a full bar. Burger was ok, meat had NO seasoning at all. Even some salt and pepper would have helped. Tea was good and it was good to sit down for awhile after walking around for almost 2 hours. Would not return

Will they ever get my order right? First did you know when sitting at the bar counter you have to order an alcoholic beverage? It's their policy. So I had to order a Truly - that was ok but really not wanted. I ordered their veggie burger with no cheese or special sauce- I'm vegan and try my best to avoid dairy even when it's hidden in your food. I also ordered a basket of fries and onion rings. Crazy prices!! My veggie burger arrives with cheese on it which I guess was a blessing because I learned that they not only put cheese on top but inside the veggie burger Patty. I looked at the menu again and no where on the description does it state that there is cheese inside the patty. So my server sends it back and asks me what I want to eat again. My only option is the beyond burger. So I order that since I'm now obviously committed to eating there and at the bar. While I'm waiting for a new burger I start eating my fries and onion rings. The fries are ok but not as hot as I would like. The onion rings are much better. For the neatly $8 I paid for the combo I got 3 rings. So frustrating. I had to remind my server twice about my burger being remade but eventually and long after my fries were gone my burger arrived. Taste? It was ok. It would have been better if I could have enjoyed it with my fries/rings combo, Maybe next time now that I know more I will try you again BurgerFi? Or maybe not if there are other options at the airport.

Cheeseburger with greasy onion rings

Where do I start? The cheeseburger was just okay, as the bun was cold and the flavor was light. The onion rings were barely warm and extremely oily. They let me order iced tea, but were out is it, so when I went to get my drink is when I found out. I paid for a Diet Pepsi that I didn't really want. Only good thing about the place is a half decent hamburger and a good place to sit.

Saw the line and decided to give BurgerFi a try. Service was excellent and my burger came quickly! Freshly made, organic meat, double patty, melted cheese and onion, tomato and latticed dressed this glistening burger. Great bun, held everything and didn't disintegrate! One bite in and I could taste freshness. Not overly salted which I love, but not a whole lot of flavor. The sauce in the burger didn't add much at all. I will definitely order again because of the quality, quickness and customer service but maybe add a little something to lift the burger so it dances on the taste buds!!

Filthy, disgusting, and overpriced. Food is also very bland and not flling. Choose somewhere else to go.

'Bacon' double cheeseburger

Raleigh Durham Airport needs to do a lot better. While recently traveling I had to eat at BurgerFi because there were basically no other options open. I used to enjoy BurgerFi at the Arboretum occasionally, but this experience was thoroughly disappointing. I ordered a lettuce wrap, bacon double cheeseburger. There was no bacon, the lettuce was soggy ( had to pay about two dollars extra for it), and the worst part.... The actual burger. If it's in your name, I should hope you would do it well. These patties were rubbery and filled with ground up gristle. If I wasn't starving andLettuce Wrap Burgers about to jump on a flight, I don't think I would've been able to eat it.

Overpriced and not worth the wait. It's as simple as that! Even for the airport these guys are way overpriced and out of line.

I went on a…read morework dinner while in town for training and this was the perfect first place to stop and grab food during my trip! Since it was a Monday night I was not expecting the restaurant to be busy and it wasn't. Plenty of open parking, no wait at all, and quick to be served. I ordered the smoked brisket which came on top of burnt end hash, collard greens, and topped with a bbq sauce/gravy. The brisket was so tender and a really thick cut. I typically like leaner cuts of meat and the meat was perfect, not too much fat. The sauce also complimented really nicely. The burnt end hash was also really good. The potatoes were tender and soaked up some of the juices from the greens and sauce. The greens were cooked perfectly. Not too soft and still had some crunch to them. They had a lot of flavor and had a touch of sweetness. I would get a bowl of them to eat on its own for sure. My coworker got the pork chop with mashed sweet potatoes and green beans which she said was really good. Her plate was vibrant in color from the vegetables and the pork chop looked well prepared. For dessert we shared the banana bread pudding with strawberry ice cream. The bread budding came out warm which was perfect to go with the ice cream which tasted homemade. I'm a sucker for anything strawberry though. The bread pudding had slices of banana throughout and held together well when eaten with the ice cream. Service throughout the evening was good. We were checked on and brought refills without having to flag down the waiter. Overall it was a great experience. I know I'll be back to RDU at some point so I'll be sure to come back.

Then its the whole bit about sending it back and the awesome movie "Waiting", so you get extra sauce, lol. Or conversely, you order lower than you wanted to and it walks onto your plate. This was a perfect medium rare, no extra sauce needed. Felt like I wanted the FF instead of chips, so I got them with a side of ranch and hot buffalo (my dealio). The fries were hot and Crispy, and everything on my end was good. The only negative was that they were out of my favorite draft, "Maine Lunch", but it is very popular, and used to be only found in Maine or Massachusetts, so that's a pass. My mate got the crab cakes which looked good, and I had a little bite, and pretty tasty for being out of the Chesapeake area. The place is always clean and comfortable, not to light, not too dark. Sat at the bar which has plenty of bar tables as well, so it works if you dart in for lunch, which gets pretty busy for a party of over 2. The staff and management always greet you and seem pretty happy. They check back often, which is a requisite for me. Nice lunch.

Very friendly and made our experience worthwhile. When they were out of the cucumber for my drink she adequately notified me of the additional wait time and was very understanding of me canceling the drink and single handily made me want to return to the goat. Wanted to check out what Durham had to offer during my stay in Raleigh, so hopped over Line and came to this cute cafe! The residents living in the apartments that were built next to this place are pretty lucky! Our server told us that The Goat holds a lot of activities for them and the pool area is a nice place for residents and restaurant customers can hang out and play games. We got the biscuit flight. Perfectly buttery, fluffy on the inside, with ample crispy edges! The honey and berry dips were god, but the pimento cheese dip was out of this world! I like pimento but I'm not the biggest fan because everyone makes it differently. My pet peeve is a Mayo forward pimento. The Goat Pimento cheese seems to be made with cream cheese and I didn't taste any Mayo, so THIS is how I prefer my pimento cheese! I couldn't get enough of its savory goodness, then going for a honey or berry dips for that sweet salty sensation. The coffee service was annoying. Our server brought out the biscuits before the coffee, so I asked about it. About 3 minutes later a girl came with my husband's cappuccino and my coffee was in a glass filled to the brim with ice. I immediately said, wait I didn't order iced anything, I drink my coffee hot and she immediately snatched it and walked away without saying a word! That was a strange way to treat a customer who has not only been waiting for late coffee but when the coffee came it was all wrong! We were almost done with the biscuit flight by the time my Lavender Honey Mocha with Oat Milk HOT came out. I will say that it was a delicious cup, however! Worth the wait??? Well I ended up asking my server for a to go cup for the coffee. The last nail in the coffin of The Goat not getting that 5th star is getting a plastic to go cup for a cold drink. By this time I realize they were never gonna get it right. So I just pulled my warm coffee into that plastic cup, prayed the microplastics and toxins from the plastic cup would spare me this one time and kept it moving.

Pretty neat rendition of a traditional product. I had a Heat wave burger, which I thought was going to be really spicy, but was pretty medium, for me... I am from NM, though, so I have a little bit of a spice skew. The burger was nicely cooked, and although the fries came out cold, they remade some for me that were hot and pretty good. They also had a nice beer and cocktail selection, so if you are in the mood, you can get your hop or wheat on, or marg... Nice looking spot on the inside, with either ample table or bar seating, so take your pick. This is the spot where they just announced that the theater will be closing, and demolished forever... in Park West, and I did notice a lot of closed businesses, but that I think is a separate issue relating to the ridiculous rents that they are asking for in Wake as a whole.

I asked the cashier at the front about it and she told me that there are lids under the drink station. I guess she was too busy to get them for me and tried to make me do it? They also ran out of broccoli and had to drop some more but never told us how long it was going to take. So I was waiting for 5-10 minutes for my girlfriend's food to be ready as my food got cold. Wouldn't have been as bad but they never told us how long the wait would be and we were both getting hungry. There were also a good amount of flies in the restaurant. We tried to sit outside but there were a lot of flies there too. Instead we walked to the brewery where the flies seemed to leave us alone. My food was seasoned well enough and had a good flavor but it didn't really taste that fresh. Not sure if it was from the wait but I'm sure it didn't help.
