Upon arriving home with our food, we removed it from the bag and poured the fries onto a paper plate to share. There was a long piece of black hair in the fries. This is the second time that we have found hair in our food from this location. It is not my hair, because my hair isn't that long. We called and spoke with the manager (Jack). I visited BurgerFi UCF yesterday with my husband and had a terrible experience. I have eaten at other locations before and never really had an issue. This time, unfortunately, was different. Upon walking in, the entire restaurant was disgusting, including the restroom. Had that been the only issue, I might not mind since I arrived at a busy time. However, when we received our food, our order was made incorrectly. I am not sure if it was rung up incorrectly or if it was a mistake in the kitchen, but I ordered my burger well done and it was NOT cooked all the way through. Meanwhile, my husband's meal had cheese, although he is lactose intolerant and we specifically ordered no cheese. When I looked around for a manager to address the issue, there did not seem to be a manager working. However, there were two managers (older white woman and a younger white male) and an employee sitting at a table eating in plain view for over half an hour. My husband ended up just peeling off his cheese (hoping to not get sick later..) and I only ate around the rim of my undercooked burger. The fries were cold and limp, not fresh at all. Absolutely terrible experience with a lack of customer service and clearly the managers would rather take a break during busy hours than tend to their customers. Then they moved her to another store, and the replacement was seemingly not concerned with being a manager, grease all over burger buns, soggy fries...I had even gotten sick from the chicken sandwich, likely from bad meat! Was hoping things would be back to great with Karen back to "Clean up" things, but she is not the same mgr, food quality today was horrid. Only have limited time for lunch, so ordered online, picked it up...get home & start eating, first were soggy fries, then red burgers! UGH, RED RAW BURGER...called to speak to Karen and she was "busy"...Sophia handled things well, said would refund everything. Went here for lunch. The restaurant was busy but wasn't hard to find a table. Everything was a la carte. I loved the veggie burger. It wasn't dry and made with quinoa, black beans and carrots. Delicious. Also ordered the french fries and onion ring combo. French fries were not good and a little limp. Onion rings were better. They only give you three, but they are HUGE and crispy. I ordered food pick up on Friday 6:16 pm and arrive 7:03 pm to pick up my order. My order was not even made. Receipt was there waiting hanging on the rope line. I'm like ok I'm patience man so I sat down and waited. As I waited I noticed new people ordering and getting their food before me. I finally said something and my food was in the bag ready to go but nobody cared giving it to me. I was upset off course but they offered me cup of water. Fries weren't amazing but the onion rings really good. You can get a half and half side where you can try both, which is awesome if you are indecisive. First time customer. The meat was good, but cold - likely cooked a long time ago and cooled off. I'll give it another try at a different location and I'll select my toppings. The sauce tasted like catchup with seasoning and I don't like catchup. The onion rings were completely burned not at all like the pictures. My biggest issue is with the unwillingness to share the ingredient in the veggie burger. I sat looking at a poster which reads, no hidden ingredients. The servers will not provide an ingredient list because "there are at least 30 ingredients". I checked on line and about 10 ingredients are listed before the statement " to name a few". What are you trying to hide???? List all of them! Anyone taking the time to check wants to know. I love coming here, the burgers are always good and I love all the options for add ons. You can't really go wrong with any of the burgers here. I also love the fries, they give you a lot of them as well, so you can always share (if you want to). The milkshakes are also very good, I recommend the strawberry one.
