Great burger but small for the price. $10/Burger and then you must add any sides as well. That said they have some interesting concoctions and they work very well. Delicious and they serve wine by the bottle if you want. Great place to sit and people watch the Rollins College kids mix with the Winter Park group. I had the ultimate and my wife had the basic cheese burger. Both tasted very good and the sauce was very nice. I was not that hungry so next time I would add some of the parmesan cheese fries. Lunch: wife had a single bacon cheeseburger and I had a chicken sandwich. We shared a large order of onion rings and both had water to drink. The onion rings were hot, but were coated in salt. Wife stopped eating after second one, I continued and thought I will take off the crust and just eat the Ionian and it was so salted Ed I had to spit it out. My chicken sandwich was a good and hot, my only complaint is that it had too much honey mustard. Normally, I get the condiment on the side, however I did not this time. The bacon cheeseburger was a single and it was cold., Cheese was not melted. Wife ate as much of it as she could. All in all, I won't be back. I have a $10 gift card I will be giving away. It was packaged for a car ride very well, they put it in an open topped box and was placed in a bag within a bag.. that burger wasn't going anywhere!! The burger was awesome, exactly as it states it to be for a keto diet. Burger, bacon, cheese, and egg wrapped in lettuce. I ended up having a hard time picking it up with the thick stacks of lettuce they wrapped it in so I had to eat it with a fork, but the flavors were on point and the burger wasn't greasy. I'm a sucker for a good burger joint, especially when they can rock any kinda burger well. If you can make a turkey or veggie burger and do it well, I'm coming back. This location is at the end of Park Ave across the street from Rollins College, so it's consistently busy. Parking is either parallel street parking or the SunTrust garage, which is a close walk. They have indoor and outdoor seating, but with the open door atmosphere, you're pretty much outside no matter where you sit. To order you'll head to the front counter,place your order and get a number to put on your table. They'll bring your food out to your corresponding number, which is nice. Staff here is great. Really friendly and helpful. Note: I personally can't have the fries here cause they use peanut oil, so heads up to my nut allergy peeps, you'll wanna skip those. Grab a side salad. So my review is only for the Concrete Mixer as I foolishly accompanied fellow yelper Michelle M. C. Here for lunch when I had already eaten. Seriously the smells of burgers and fries are pure torture when you have already eaten, and I will definitely have to go back to give them a try for lunch or dinner one day. I decided to order the Red Velvet Concrete Mixer. Which is a layer of frozen custard, red velvet cake, custard, red velvet cake and one final layer of custard. It threw me off that it isn't really a "mixer" so much as a layered dessert. Regardless of the name it was a wonderful dessert. The frozen custard was so smooth and a perfect combo with the red velvet cake. Staff was very friendly and helpful in helping me decide what to order. And the mixer was prepared straight away for me. My friend who had ordered lunch was given a buzzer sort of button although they just ended up bringing out her food for her. They have a lot of seating, including some family style seating and individual tables. They also have a large patio, and are dog friendly which I love. Parking can be a bit of an issue but it didn't take us to long to find some street parking on a little side street. They do appear to have a parking lot behind the restaurant although it didn't seem like it was that easy to get to. read more

Nestled on the edge of Winter Park's Park Avenue, this joint serves up your classic burger fare. Things are a bit on the pricey side for what you get but it's generally a fun experience. Get their custard milkshakes and large basket fries. A couple tips: Everything is fried in peanut oil. They have a couple vegetarian options. For the gluten free crowd, they will serve your patty on lettuce (which is not that exciting, but at least they try), but I wouldn't trust it to be free from cross contamination. read more

Park Ave's newest addition claiming: "Burgerfication of the Nation" opened up last Monday and I have been twice since then. It's a Floridian chain that is dedicated to focusing "on all-natural, grass-fed beef" and they do a pretty good job. This place is poppin', as you will see when you are greeted with a line out the door, but don't be discouraged, it moves pretty fast! It's not really what you would expect to see on Park Ave but it gives a nice little break to the upscale street and is a nice option to a quick, somewhat healthy lunch. I have had a cheddar cheeseburger and the veggie burger. I am a meat person but once I tasted the veggie burger: Crisp quinoa burger, I was hooked. This has so much flavor and really is the best veggie burger I have allowed my taste buds to hit. The second time I got 1/2 beef and 1/2 quinoa for a double burger and it was perfect. Opted for the lettuce instead of a bun and although sloppy, I loved it. I do love the decor and feeling. Extremely well kept place, even though it's brand new, you can tell it's going for the crisp, clean, Chipotle like feel. I agree that the music is a bit loud but it's not overpowering. I have yet to try their ice cream or desserts but they look yummy! I am a little thrown off that they don't have cider but I hope they add that soon. Also, they claim to be open until 2am Fri/Sat but when I arrived at 11:15pm they were closed. The website claims the hours and on the door is says "late night" so that is kind of frustrating. Tips: - Arrive at 11:30 to beat the lunch rush and score a table without hovering. - Order the veggie burger, the thing with MOST flavor on their menu and you can get a 1/2 - 1/2, half burger half veggie... do it! - Don't get the parmesan and herb fries, they actually taste more bland than the regular fries. - Skip the bun and get it in between some lettuce. - Make sure to put the beeper on the pad on your table or your food will take a bit longer as they won't know where to find you! - You can order your fried extra crispy or my fav, LIMP! The real disappointment were the fries and onion rings which were freezing cold, soggy, and falling apart. I added a side of truffle aioli which came as garlic aioli. Thanks to my connections I was able to get tickets for their opening party where they were giving out free food. As a true Yelp! fanatic I tried to order as much as possible so I can give a good review. Here are my thoughts: Great burger quality...better than Five Guys. They follow the same concept: no freezers, fresh meat, fresh produce, and hand cut potatoes. The difference is that BurgerFi meat is all organic from grass-fed cows from their two farms in Montana and Colorado. The meat had lots of flavor and I could definitely taste the freshness. I had the classic cheeseburger, my friends had the Breakfast burger, ultimate cheeseburger, and the burgerfi burger with bacon. They all gave it an 8 over 10. One of the manager recommended we try the herb french fries and I am go glad they did! hand cut fries with herb (thyme, rosemary and something else) drizzled with olive oil and Parmesan cheese. DELICIOUS!! One order of fries per party is just right. We also ordered the hot dogs. My friend had the Chicago dog and I had the Kobe dog Texas style. I am not a hot dog lover but these dogs had really good meats in them. I usually don't like pickles but the Chicago dog was my favorite. lastly, we decided to try the key lime custard. omg...again, DELICIOUS! It wasn't too sweet or overpowering with lime. Just right. Prices: You can have a burger, fries, and drink for under $15 per person. If you share your fries, then it lowers it to $10 per person. I am giving them 4 stars for now. I've given this place a few tries. I've finally reached my conclusion. It's over priced. On my recent visit I opted for the "Ultimate Cheeseburger" which comes in a nine dollars and some change. I also ordered the half and half onion rings and fries combo. I pay the tab and I'm handed a pager which I am instructed to place in the center of the table so I can be found. Oddly, I did not chose a beer but a fountain beverage. They feature the Coca-Cola Freestyle machines, which yes, offer great options, but often create bottleneck lines while people spend their time deciding on which flavor they want. Luckily, BurgerFi has two machines. Smart move. I find a table and my food finds me relatively quick. The burger, about the size of the palm of my hand comes wrapped in a think paper sack and I think to myself, "size doesn't matter as long as it's good", although I still keep in my mind that this cost me almost $10. The half and half was a bed of fries, looked fresh and three giant onion rings. I'm talking giant. Two hands needed, big. These were not tiny, one or two bite onion rings but, "let's make a meal out of this" size onion rings. The problem with something that big, you get tired of it quick. I was glad there were only three. The fries underneath were not great. Some were wonderfully flavorful, while the others were charred and inedible. On to the burger. The thing that made this ultimate cheeseburger, "ultimate" was the addition of extra cheeses. Both swiss and bleu. Yep. That's ultimate. The double patty burger is charred with a branding iron with the name of the restaurant. Very trendy. The burger had a slice of tomato, a few scraps of iceberg lettuce, two pickles and a smearing of secret sauce, cough-cough, thousand island dressing. The burger, while tasty, did not blow my mind thinking it was the end-all, be-all of Cheeseburgers. I have had better. While there I bumped in to fellow Yelper, Chris R. He asked me if I thought the burgers were frozen. I thought for a moment about how the restaurant prides itself on high quality, grass fed beef and said, "no". I may be naive but I thought they were fresh. The size and style of the patty was reminiscent of Steak N' Shake, Chris observed and I agreed. I am sure some people reading this will comment that to make a burger ultimate does not mean it needs to be huge. I totally agree, it just has to be mouth-watering, delicious, crave-inducing, etc. This was not the case with BurgerFi. Would I say the same thing if the burger cost $7 ? Maybe. I couldn't help but think that for nearly $10, I expected more. Upon researching more about this place before writing this review, I discovered it has a "secret menu", ala In N' Out Burger. I saw that I can order "limp fries" and a multitude of other items. I am intrigued and I am willing to give BurgerFi another chance. I just won't be getting the Ultimate again. read more

Went in for their grand opening today and the place was PACKED! Its an open airy restaurant with gigantic ceiling fans, rustic/modern decor and great atmosphere. For some reason, the topping on the fries isn't on the main menu, so make sure you ask if the cashier doesn't. The options was cheese, parmesan & herb and one other that I can't seem to remember. They also have a freestyle coca cola machine! If you haven't seen one before its basically one machine with over a 100 flavors! Its definitely something to check out! When you order, they give you a buzzer look alike contraption, so you can find a table. Turnaround seems to be good so don't worry if it looks too busy. This buzzer is like a little gps locater. Wherever you are, it will find you! It doesn't buzz, it doesn't beep, but the servers will know where to find you without having to get up from your table. The cheeseburger I had was great in flavor, moist, not greasy and awesome buns. It may look small, but it definitely is filling. The fries is definitely shareable, and way too much for one person. So if you're with someone, I would suggest sharing unless you're greed. :p The also have onion rings, which are gigantic, and if you want the best of both worlds, they offer a fries/onion ring combo. I love this place! From their All natural, grass-fed beef (makes a difference in the flavor and lack of chemicals) to their life-altering quinoa veggie burger, this place is where it's at! The line is often out the door, but I've gone here a lot for lunch (on a strict time constraint) and I can tell you that the line moves incredibly fast. Don't be deterred! Another favorite revelation is how good a burger can be when wrapped in lettuce rather than in a bun. It leave you feeling comfortably full and no carb crash later.
