I have been a Honda owner for many years, having owned over (9) different Honda models going back to the early 1990s. I have bought many Hondas from Burns as well. I went there earlier this week to look into trading in a vehicle and buying a new one. The sales man was great, but the Finance Department not at all. I have some credit issues and before I started I asked that they let me know and make sure that they could get me approved and could work with me to get into the vehicle I wanted. I was assured that they could. After the first visit I left to talk things over with my wife and we decided to work with them based on their assurances. I called the day before, made an appointment to go in the next day and I advised them to get all the financing details together so that we could discuss it and select a car. When I arrived, the finance person had to basically go back to the drawing board and after wasting another (2) hours was basically told that they could not get a deal done on any car on their lot because of my credit and the lack of value in my trade. Humiliating. That was the exact scenario that I wanted to avoid and I found that their laziness of not answering these issues BEFORE I went there caused me to waste a ton of time and effort and stress. Not pleased. I then went to another non-Honda dealer and got a great deal on a different vehicle. Bottom line, if you don't have A+ credit, Honda is not interested in your business and Burns did nothing for me. read more

This dealership is a nightmare!! They had my car for 3 months because they swore up and down it was my transmission. Come to find out $13k later that it was the body throttle!! Not only did they give me my car back filthy full of tape around my doors. They didn't bother offering an oil change after my car was due for one. They kept telling me a part was the issue after I got my own transmission. For them to eventually tell me both transmissions I got were bad. How ironic lol!! They are a joke. Manager joe sucks and Daniel my service advisor stop answering my calls and texts as soon as I got my car back. All they want is money. They gave me my car back with the whole splash guard missing and all my clips off and my battery terminal lose. How do you treat your customers like this especially when I spent over $13k. 2 months ago as I was driving my whole caliper bolt fell off because they didn't properly put it back. We are now in January and Mind you I got my car back July. My car transmission code and emission code kept coming up. My car wasn't shifting gears and I had to take it to another dealership for them to tell me it was never my transmission it was the body throttle. When visiting the Used Car section of Burns Honda three months ago, we had a horrible experience with one of the salesmen, who was not only unfriendly but also unprofessional. We were in the early stages of buying a car-- shopping around still and curious about several makes and models. We went to Burns Honda on a Friday night at 7 pm, on a whim, to look at a couple of the cars we were considering. We were planning to buy a car sometime in the next few months, which we told them directly before discussing things with the salesman. Even with the disclaimer that we were not interested in buying or test driving cars that evening (only wanted to see some of the vehicles and discuss them), the salesman was visibly frustrated with us not purchasing a car that day. He reluctantly showed us a couple cars, pushed us to test drive all of them (to which I repeatedly told him we would not be doing that evening since I had not brought my glasses for night driving), and was unprofessional in every aspect of our interaction with him. He even told us how "November and December are the worst months of the year for selling cars" and said several times, "I don't know what else you want me to do!" with a frustrated attitude. I realize that it must be frustrating to show cars to someone who is not planning to purchase that day, but I find it hard to believe that anyone would expect us to visit for the first time and then purchase a car right then and there at 7 pm on a Friday night. They should be building relationships with customers so we return, buy multiple cars, and refer them to our friends and family--not hustling us to purchase a car one hour before they close after we have specifically said we would not be purchasing that day. Had the salesman at Burns Honda been more accommodating and friendly, we may have returned to purchase a car from him. Instead, we were so turned off by his behavior that we decided not to use Burns Honda at all for our purchase. Instead, we went with the Subaru dealership, who allowed us to visit twice to discuss options with their patient and gracious sales team. We do not recommend this Burns Honda (particularly the used car section) solely because of this salesman and our interaction with him. read more

January 10, 2019 Do not buy a car from this Honda Dealer. (I tried to post pictures of the poor quality workmanship but could not) June 2015 I bought an Accord from Burns. There was a specific reason as to why I purchased a car in NJ. I am a resident of Florida where we are not required to have a front tag on our bumpers. I asked Burns staff if they could fill the holes they had drilled in the bumper to attach the "Burns Honda" marketing tag. They filled the holes and repainted the bumper. The car is kept in a garage when not in use. In September of 2018 the paint started to flake off the front bumper. I contacted Honda America who, after learning the bumper had been painted, told me to contact the dealer because it was a workmanship issue. I contacted the dealer and after a conversation with Steve Jensen I was instructed to get an estimate. I did. I submitted the estimate with paperwork and photos from the repair shop. Jensen immediately declined the claim because the car, at the time, had 43,951 miles on it and the manufacturers warrant expires in 36,000. He actually suggested I come to NJ and he would assist me in finding a shop that could perform the repair much cheaper even though I would still have to pay for it. I researched filing a lemon law claim/complaint but I am beyond the time limit detailed by the law. The lack of customer service and lack of concern for the Honda Brand's reputation is typical of this dealership. The email correspondence follows Mrs. Tiemann, From Steve Jensen I apologize for my delay in getting back to you. I reviewed the photos and estimate that you provided. When we initially spoke I don't believe that I was aware that the vehicle had over 40,000 miles on it. When you purchase your vehicle the factory warranty on paint is for 3 years or 36,000 miles (whichever comes first). If we make any paint repairs prior to selling you the vehicle we warrant those repairs for the same amount of time. At this point your vehicle is out of any of those paint warranties. We would not be able to warrant or cover the cost of those repairs at this time. If you were more local it may have been easier for us to coordinate a more cost effective method of refinishing the bumper. That being said we do not have any dealerships or body shops in Florida, so I don't see that as an option. Do you ever travel back to New Jersey? I recently called for an appointment and was told they don't like working on "my kind" of car and that it was too old. Lots of attitude. Very rude. Really Burns? Be careful when shopping for a car here. I went in to do a simple lease buyout and when it came time to sign paperwork tons of different charges were added on that weren't explained to me. Finance director Nick L. is about as unscrupulous as they get!! He openly lied to my face and when I confronted him he just added more lies. I also waited for an hour and a half while the salesman went back and forth and before my paperwork was done he was already asking for 10's on the survey that he said would be sent. There are wonderful people here such as the GM Doug. I did not buy my lease but at least he listened to my concerns and made me feel valued as a customer. I did buy at Burns Hyundai. This place is incompetent and does not take responsibility for their work. Management and the workers are extemely polite and handles themselves well but it is definately a corporate business and has no heart. I had a problem with my civic clutch and went in to get it fixed. I told them I had clutch failure. They told me the clutch line was leaking. I asked them to fix it. They told me they tucked the clutch line in and it would no longer leak. I was happy and paid 254 dollars for the service. Two days later my clutch failed again on route 73. I went back this time they said the clutch line was leaking again and would need to be replaced. They did the work and charge me 320 dollars. I tried reason with management about why I should be charge so the second time around when they neglected to solve the problem on the first visit but they would not bulge. I am not mechanic or attorney but this seems unjust. They did simple patch work that lasted me 2 days. They did not take responsibility for the poor work the first time. Had my clutch failed on the turnpike I could have been in an accident and caused myself and others on the road serious harm. Again the staff is very friendly and professional (why i gave it two stars and not 1) but in the end it is a corporate business. I strongly suggest you find a different mechanic. I currently live in cherry hill and was going here for convenience but in the future I will be taking my car to my family mechanic in Philly. read more

When we returned from the drive, they purposefully held the license for almost an hour while the salesperson was "running the numbers with the manager". I was planning to take a long road trip for Thanksgiving and made an appointment for an inspection of my car at Burns Honda. We just relocated back to New Jersey and decided to bring our car to this dealership (going against community reviews) because we never had a problem with any Honda dealership in the past - until now. We came for inspection and we were told we had "very bad news" by your service representative. The report showed we needed 4 new tires, new brakes and an alignment and was quoted just shy of $1100. With having to give notice at work - we decided to cancel the trip because of the $ needed to make our car safe for the trip. After doing some research, I discovered that we put 2 new 80k mile tires on the car 18 months ago. So, that stemmed into me calling the Honda where we resided for the manufacturers number, etc. We were very confused as to why we needed new tires. So I called Eric (Service Manager at Burns Honda) He called and said that he would like to take a look at the car - because it didn't sound right to him. So, Long story short, I dropped the car off - upon my return Eric apologized and told me that the person that wrote up the ticket was 7 days new to the company and the service tech that measured the tires - although a lovely girl - fresh out of school. I did NOT need the suggested $1100 worth of work that was previously estimated. So, my husband can no longer get the time off from work, and our trip was cancelled because, for lack of better words, inexperienced, under trained staff at this dealership. For all of the apparent awards, they in reality have a 2 star with me.... So they did $400 worth of work and it wasn't actually fixed, I came to pick it up and didn't even make it out of their parking lot and my check engine light came on. Not to mention when I started my car, I looked at my husband and told him that it wasn't fixed, but somehow I realized that and their mechanics didn't... and they don't even do the courtesy vacuum and wash....what! What a let down...all that money and not even a courtesy vacuum....guess my expectations are too high. So I had to circle back around and leave my car again and they ended up doing another $700 worth....and how was that not caught the first time I left my car?? Still unsure.... Then they wouldn't let me use my 10% off coupon cause they gave me a rental (since they messed up the first time and I live in Philly and didn't have a ride back since my car wasn't fixed when they said it was - not to mention the rental car was DIRTY.....EWWWW!) uhmmmmm..right! Seriously, go to Acura right down the road, service is so much better! After a completely disastrous experience with Cherry Hill Mitsubishi in the Cherry Hill Triplex (see my 1st ever 1-star review on their page(s)), this place was an amazing breath of fresh air. We came in knowing we wanted the CRV, and that we wanted to lease. Salesman James Rush worked with us and took a sketch of what we were looking for as far as down payment, monthly payments, etc. He took my fiance's driver's license to make a copy, and then ACTUALLY gave it back to him when he finished copying it a few minutes late (no taking your personal cards hostage! Hooray!). Within a few minutes he had a CRV out for us to test drive. We loved the car, and James patiently answered all of our questions while pointing out the various features in a very non-pushy, non-salesy kind of way. He even took us down to the area of the lot where they kept the CRV's to show us the differences bewteen the LX/EX models. Then came time for the financials, which is the part we were a bit worried about - having a great income but a bit less than perfect credit (my student loan screwups in my early 20s, his divorce, life!), and after our horrendous experience at Cherry Hill Mitsubishi, we were afraid they were going to try to take advantage of our less than perfect scores. But once we got into it, the sales manager, Frank Sorrentino, was wonderful. He thought all of our terms were extremely reasonable and doable, and actually said we could probably aim for the more expensive EX model (I realize at this point he was "upselling" us, and that we could probably get a lower payment with the standard model - but he was working everything WITHIN our budget that we specified. So getting us more car for the budget we set for ourselves was OK with us!) We ended up being totally approved, no real hassle (it took about a day, but it was over the weekend so we anticipated a wait). They were very responsive to all of our inquiries and explained thoroughly each step of the approval process as we were going through it, never keeping us in the dark. Treating people like humans, being transparent, and approaching the customer with a mindset that the customer is educated and intelligent - this is their business model, and should definitely be an example to other dealerships out there. I will recommend this place all day long! read more

I started taking my car there since I moved to New Jersey, the service hasn't been bad and but it hasn't been the best either. My car since I got it, its been having ongoing AC problems, I took it in last year I believe twice because the AC wouldn't start working after 1 hr of the car being on. This year I've taken my car twice already, after the second time the AC was actually working for a couple of weeks so I was fine but when the temperature went up to 90 degrees the AC wouldn't kick in, it started to blow hot air. I called the dealership to schedule an appointment for something I believe is an emergency and they couldn't give anything sooner than a week later. With these problem not being enough, When I was finally able to drop my car off I requested a loaner and they said they didn't have loaner cars and that my only option will be renting one or trying to find a "ride" to take me to work because the distance was too long and they don't provide that service when the issue was clearly not my fault. This would probably be the last time I take my car to this place. read more

I have taken my 2012 Honda Civic to Burns Honda for every oil change since I bought it brand new. Now its at about 36,000 miles, so I expect that my most recent oil change was my 6th one from Burns. For this most recent and 6th oil change, I dropped it off on 11/21/15 and asked for the oil change, tire rotation, and replacement wiper inserts. A few hours later, I get a call that they noticed that my Metal Splash Shield is missing, along with the four screws. They asked if i'd like to have them put a new one on for $41.58 (before tax). Of course I need a splash guard, which protects the bottom of my car, so I told them to put it back on. On the way back to pick up my car, I wondered how the Splash Guard AND all four screws were missing and came up with three scenarios. The first scenario (the most likely one) was that when I brought my car in for it's last oil change on 5/16/15, they took it off and forgot to put it back on. The second scenario (least likely) was that the mechanic was just lying and they just added another $44 on my bill for nothing. The third scenario was that Honda no longer makes quality cars and a splash guard and the four screws holding it on can fall off of a 4-year old car within six months. I called Honda's corporate office, who agreed with me that the mechanic might have made a mistake last May and I filed a grievance with them. A few days after, I get a call from Burns to rate my satisfaction with my latest service and I tell them the story. They also agreed that the mechanic might have made a mistake and gave me their Burns Customer Relations number of 1800-642-3489. I work M-F from 8-5, so when I tried calling twice around 11:00am on Saturday 12/5/15, the automatic message said they were closed. If they really did forget to put the splash guard on in May, then for these six months, the bottom of my 2012 Civic has been getting damaged. Years of trusting Burns Honda are now being questioned, from my family's 2002 Honda Civic purchased from them until now. 12/14/15 update: Changing the review from 2 stars to 3 stars. I was contacted by Ivan Loi of Burns Honda about the experience. Although it couldn't be verified about what happened with my splash guard, Ivan gave me a $42.00 credit for my next visit. No problems, no accusations, and no drawn out inquiries. I'm happy with how Burns made it right! read more

Piss poor service! I purchased the vehicle at the end of August / early September. I traded in my old vehicle for this new (used) one. I was told when I purchased my vehicle that I will get new plates and to come to their service center 2 weeks later to get them put on. Lo and behold the two weeks fly by and I don't hear anything about my new title or the fact that my new plates are ready. ZERO follow up from the salesman Rick Erb who I purchased it from. I had to call THEM since my Temps were on the verge of expiring. After playing phone tag, I had to come in and get another and get another set of temporary tags. I was told there was a issue on the original owners who sold this vehicle and purchase a new one in its place. The new car salesman that transferred this title from the previous owner did not have the corrected name for the individuals who sold it, does holding up the entire process of getting my new plates. I was told that the salesman would go out to the previous owners home to get updated signatures when I got my next set of temporary tags. This whole process took 3 weeks. Once again I call Burns Honda to find out what's going on with my new plates. A few days later I get a call, several calls, from Rick telling me to call him back but without giving me any details. I finally call him back on my lunch break and he tells me that I should not have surrendered my old plates because they were going to transfer the registration. I was not told they would transfer them, I was told that I will get brand new plates, and to come to pick them up. Now Rick tells me that I owe additional money to get new plates on this vehicle now. When I tell him I don't believe I should pay extra for this because of all of the previous title issues as well as I wasn't for now we're getting new plates from the beginning, Rick had the unmitigated gall to get indignant on the phone tell me "I'm not going to argue with you and I'll have a manager call you" and hung up on me. I don't care if you're having a bad day, as a salesperson - especially after the multiple errors on your end, you should not be indignant to your customer now that you've gotten the sale from them. When he first answered the phone, it was all peaches and cream, and then the conversation quickly turns sour once I told them that I did not think I should pay extra for their errors. I've never had such bad service from the salesman in my life, and I used to be in sales! I didn't wait for someone to call me; I called them back and left a message with a manager right away. Take your used car business elsewhere if you want to avoid headaches like this. read more

I called a week in advance to schedule a service appointment regarding issues that I have been observing and experiencing with my car. Upon arrival, I was redirected to THREE different staff members where I had to repeat myself THREE times of all of the reasons why I brought my vehicle in even though it was already listed under my appointment details. Spencer was the last person who I interacted with about my car. I also requested for an oil change since the car was to remain at the site for most of the day. He consistently pressured me into getting my tire rotation and alignment even after me repeatedly giving at least FIVE different reasons/excuses as to why I wanted to hold off at the moment. I don't know what it is with men but no means NO! Just because I'm a female doesn't mean I do not know how to care for my car. I told him once again that I just wanted the oil change and I'll have a guy near me look into the wheel rotation and alignment later. His immediate response to that was suggesting that I get my oil changed at wherever I was going for my tire rotation and alignment because "it'd be easier" and that there were "already enough problems to deal with" concerning my car. When I asked for a complimentary quick wash on my car, he said "no" and that they didn't have the space for that kind of service. Mind you, this is a dealership selling cars but doesn't have the resources to clean them?! Right. I get a call back nearly 9 hours later only to find out that Spencer was unable to address any of my concerns aside from repairing the recalled software. Horrible and extremely dissatisfying service! I will be bringing my car elsewhere for future repairs and maintenance. read more

Simply the best Honda dealership in the area. Easily accessible. Large service department. Large waiting room with free donuts and water. Friendly (not pushy) sales people. Large inventory and selection of vehicles on-site. My wife and I have toured the area looking at different makes and models of minivans recently. The Chrysler Pacifica was compelling, but the local dealership on Rt70 was a huge detractor (pretty much the opposite of the accolades above). We ended up choosing Burns Honda again. Deducting 1 star because the overhead lights in the showroom are crazy annoying. They emit a buzzing sound like a few dozen electric crickets are on the ceiling, all slightly out-of-sync. I'm sure the staff has acclimated, but for us infrequent visitors it would be so much more enjoyable if they could find a better lighting solution (they'd probably sell more cars too). read more

When you work with someone for so long, particularly with cars, a minor mistake can happen. Mr. Regan and his team are very quick to accept responsibility and offer solutions that continue to keep us satisfied customers. We will continue to do business with Burns Honda because they offer exceptional service and take ownership of their work. Side note: the complimentary donuts in the morning, popcorn in the afternoon, and fresh coffee is a great perk of visiting Burns. I purchased my first Honda (2016 Accord EX) from Burns Honda. My sales professional, Michael Covello, was a pleasure to deal with. There was no pressure to buy, but with the price he gave me how could I not? The business manager did push the extended warranty and other tack ons, but accepted when I declined, so the entire process was fairly low pressure. The only "issue" I had was that no one seemed to know how the lane departure feature was supposed to work. Maintenance ended up looking at it for a day for "discrepancies", but no one I spoke to knew what those were. As far as I can tell it works as expected, the delay was only minor inconvenience. It's nice to know that they want to make sure a car is in full working order before selling it to you. I would definitely recommend Burns Honda if you are looking for a new car and I would buy from them again. read more

What a horrible recent experience we had. A warrantied battery died. Got a jump and got it in to replace the battery. Was told it was only a partial warranty. A partial warranty? Ridiculous. They seem to not even care about long term, returning customers. Maybe they expect their car sales to be so significant that they can safely gouge service customers. We will never return. read more

I had an appointment at 10:30 AM, arrived and told them I would wait for my oil change and recall service. They told me it would be FIVE hours. I took an uber home, and at 3:30 PM still hearing nothing, I texted the service rep who told me it would be a few more hours. You have to be crazy to ever use Burns Honda for service. I won't even bother to relate the horrible experience I had when I got the car. Worst experience I have ever had and will never never buy another car from this place and I highly recommend readers don't either. read more

I went to Burns Honda twice. 1st to look at a vehicle and the second to begin the process of purchasing. The second time I showed up about 7:40 pm. Yes, a bit late, considering they closed at 9pm but as mentioned wanted to get the ball rolling. Craig was our original salesman who we were looking to go back to the second time. When we showed up, he had a customer. Our plan was to get his schedule to organize our next visit. You would think a 26 year old veteran whose handled hundreds and hundreds of customers over his tenure would handle customers better. Complete, you know what. Unwilling, unpleasant and in his words, "You can go to any salesman, we are all a team here." As a customer I took that as him sending us off to someone else. Especially, after we came back specifically for him. His desk has beautiful comments from customers posted on the wall, but I tell you there is another side. Good luck getting basic customer service from the 26 year veteran. I will not go to Burns nor recommend anyone to go specifically based of my encounter with Mr. Craig at the used car office. As a side note, there was another salesman (Dino Dipaolo) who was absolutely awesome and kept us company while Craig was dealing with a customer. If he wasn't going on vacation the following day, I would've loved to work with him. Overall, these men just pass you straight without a hello or a head nod. read more

Door dinged and extensively scratched-up my car, on two separate service repair occasions. Written/ telephone complaints to owner and service department manager went unanswered. Beware! Not a very reputable company. Service department tried to sell me on a wheel alignment, when I was having front-end work done. I explained to them, that an alignment was done recently; and that (professional mechanics on U-Tube) indicate that you are to mark alignment settings. In that way, you set it back to what it was before taking components apart. Burns Honda need for alignment was attempted fraud! read more

After researching full synthetic oil changes and tire rotations near me I decided the slightly higher price at the dealership would be worth it since I could get in and out quickly with an appointment. They offer an Express Service lane if you don't have an appointment. Upon check in I was told it would be 90 to 120 minutes! How long would it be if I didn't have an appointment, a week? I was told to cool my heels in the waiting room where I was promptly accosted for not wearing a face diaper. If they would have told me when making the appointment they still require this worthless exercise I would have gone elsewhere. The technician who checked me in said he would come find me when my car was done. At an hour and a half the brain surgery was not complete, at 2 hours I inquired again even though no one approached me as promised. Shazaam! Magically it was done. Apparently I would be sleeping over in the back of an SUV if I hadn't taken the initiative. With shop fees, etc.. it was $106, more than quoted since they leave off the donation for the manager's retirement fund. Other than all of this it was an excellent experience. read more

Recently lost a car as a result of the Hurricane Ida floods. We knew buying a new car in this market would be a challenge due to the chip shortage and supply chain issues...but this dealership went the extra mile to take advantage of us. Our salesman was very respectable and helpful. He explained the shortages and offered showed us a few used vehicles that were close to what we were looking for since they had no new cars on the lot. He also explained that, because of the demand and shortages, vehicles were often sold before arriving at the dealership and the best way to get a chance to look at a new vehicle was to place a $1000 deposit on a vehicle they were scheduled to receive from the manufacturer. We'd then be able to check it out and make a purchase decision. We were told the deposit would be applied to the vehicle cost if we completed the purchase or 100% refundable for any reason if we decided we didn't want the car. That seemed fair enough considering the market and we had received generally the same offer from several other dealerships ( the amount of deposit varied). We were particularly interested in the hybrid version of this vehicle and this dealership happened to have the hybrid version on their inbound list, so we decided we'd place the deposit to get a chance to check it out and make a decision. As we began the deposit process, it became clear that none of this was to be put in writing. All we were going to receive was a receipt for the deposit amount...that said nothing about the terms of the agreement or what vehicle we were reserving. We asked if we could get the terms in writing...and they looked at us like we had crabs coming out of our ears. We had to explain that we didn't feel comfortable providing a $1000 deposit without the details in writing. I just can't imagine that we would be the first to ask for that, but we were made to feel that way. After a few rounds, the salesman simply said they don't have forms for that, but offered to put something on dealership letterhead and have the sales manager sign it if it would make us feel better. We still thought this was very odd, but agreed that would be sufficient and wrote out a simple draft statement we would be comfortable with. With that draft in hand, the salesman disappeared into the back. After about 15 minuets, he returned with a clearly agitated sales manager and a pre-printed multi-page document instead of the memo on letterhead we were expecting. The salesperson sat down at a desk nearby without saying a word and the sales manager sat at the salespersons desk. It was like the manager put the salesperson in a penalty box and took-over the "troublesome" customers. Upon further examination of the documents we were given, we discovered it was a complete purchase agreement...that literally said we agreed to purchase this car...with absolutely no mention of the refundability of the deposit. It also listed the sales price, dealer fees, accessory packages, and the vehicle was the wrong color. We had never discussed price or options...we were simply hoping to reserve the vehicle to look at when it arrived. The instant we balked at signing this document, the sales manager aggressively cut us off and went on a tirade of how he "runs a respectable dealership, so why would I screw a customer" and "I wouldn't want a bad review posted online over a silly $1000, so why wouldn't we refund the deposit?! I have a reputation to protect." He also went on to reinforce that we were "NOT going to find a the vehicle we were looking for anywhere in NJ, so this was the only way you are going to get a car." Total jerk. At that point we were done. We immediately left. I pulled over in a parking lot about a mile away and did an internet search. In under 60 seconds I found the exact vehicle we were looking for advertised at a dealership about an hour away. I called to verify it was on the lot and available to look at. It was, so we booked an appointment. We went home for lunch then went to the dealership. In under 2 hours from being told I'll never find one...we were test driving one...and that included going home for lunch. So glad we did, because we didn't like the hybrid at all. We then called around and found a dealership (Rossi Honda) that had the exact gas version of the vehicle we were looking for that was arriving in a few weeks. We arrived, placed our deposit with every detail in writing, and were treated like valued customers. The vehicle arrived a couple weeks later exactly as expected and we completed the transaction. The entire staff we worked with could not have been more patient and helpful as we read every line of every document. We just kept waiting for the other shoe to drop...but it never did. It was a fantastic experience from beginning to end. Too bad Burns Honda lost the sale and future business because the sales manager insisted on treating us like a problem. read more

I arrived approximately at 7 PM for my appointment. Was told that I would only be waiting for one hour for a simple oil change. An hour later, the tech comes out and says that the Mechanic was having trouble using my remote to start my car. I cannot believe that he wasted an hour to try to start my car I was sitting in the lobby. He could have simply asked me for the other remote starter that I have. After I expressed my disappointment, because this is the second time this is happened to me where I had a scheduled appointment For an oil change and waited over two hours on my last visit, he then says to me "you know you had other cars in front of you right?" That is a completely unacceptable excuse. When I first arrived the same tech told me I only had an hour to wait. This will be the last time I come to this site to get an oil change I will be looking elsewhere read more

I used to go here for everything, being the closest Honda to me. I've since moved on to even purchasing fluids and parts from other dealers or online simply because I don't want to support this place. Just take your car elsewhere to get serviced unless you don't mind stains on your seats, and some 'technicians' leftover food trash in your glove compartment. But really, who the f*ck leaves fast-food trash in clients cars!?!? Obviously they must be eating while working on the cars... remember that when you pull in with yours. I just dealt with it since its so close by and my car is older, but I've since become too fed up with it. They insist problems don't exist when you bring them up after servicing, trying to push blame on you. I had to demonstrate how much brake oil I had to keep topping off on a bottle to show them that something was wrong a week after I had my brakes just serviced from here!! Just own that you messed up and fix it, don't give me your waffling excuses. Overall very unprofessional and a headache to deal with. And don't bother taking your car in early since they'll just take a look at it and stick it on the back burner and call you when they close to tell you either it's done or they didn't have the parts for it. Like really? Just call me earlier saying it can't be done today and I'll just go somewhere else, don't hold my car hostage. By the way, you can get fluids cheaper at the Turnersville Honda!! You can call up both places and compare yourself! 0/10 would not recommend. In a pinch I choose my local pepboys over this dealership. At least their attitude isn't as snarky!!! read more

We are in the market for a Honda Odyssey. After calling to confirm with Amanda that the vehicle was available, we set up a sale day appointment to drive and most likely purchase the vehicle. Later that day the car was no longer on the website so we called back to double check that the vehicle was still on the lot. After being told by Amanda that she had eyes on the car, we left work early and took the over one hour drive to the appointment. We arrived and the van was not pulled around as promised. We spoke to the manager, as Amanda had "left" for the day, and were told the vehicle was sold the day before. Over two hours of drive time, work time, and car shopping at other dealerships wasted - and they barely muttered an apology. I would warn anyone to steer far away. If they can't even be truthful about the cars on their lot, why would I ever trust them with a 20K+ purchase? read more

My wife called Burns Honda and made an appointment to have her 2006 Pilot checked out for an exhaust leak. Charged her $150. to put the car on the lift for 15 minutes to diagnose a hole in her exhaust that was in plain view and quoted a price of $1,300. to repair or replace most or all of her exhaust system. That sounded a little suspect so we took it to Meinke around the corner and they found one piece of the exhaust needed to be replaced and the rest of the exhaust was solid. Total cost of repair at Meinke including tax - $408. Now truck runs/sounds perfect and we saved $900. We will no longer take our car/truck to Burns for service. Buyer beware. read more
