Clean and new restaurant. In a new plaza with many other shops and food places. Had their spaghetti grilled cheese sandwich. It tasted spicy for some reason. It did not say that on the menu description. It didn't taste too special. Kinda bland and lacking flavor. Freshness could be an issue. Pretty expensive too, but it was two meals for me. Wouldn't return. read more

I ordered mine to go.The fluffy pancakes were bland. I think you need to pour lots of maple syrup to appreciate it. MeaNwhile,the breakfast rice was way too salty. I threw it away.I gave two stars base on my orders. read more

Came here for lunch with my mom and had an enjoyable experience. The indoor space is closed of course due to Covid. The outdoor seating is covered and labeled to maintain social distancing. The staff was very friendly and sweet. The only reason I didn't give this restaurant 5/5 stars is because the breast meat in the chicken sandwich was dry. Otherwise, it was a great. read more

Don't let the super long line deter you as it goes pretty fast. Tried the breakfast burrito and breakfast quesadilla, both were huge portions and worth the price. The food came pretty fast after ordering and sitting down in the outdoor patio, would come back again to try more! read more

This place is AMAZING! Minh and Tommy hands down understand the value of customer service. The food here is top notch and very reasonably priced...definitely a kid pleaser. We love this place and highly recommend both this location and the Burntzilla location. Can't go wrong. Try the spaghetti grilled cheese.. unique and delicious. read more

Came here to try the Soufflé pancakes dish. I ordered a Berry Compote pancake and my SO purchased a breakfast sandwich that comes with potatoes. The pancakes come in pairs with whipped cream, berry Compote sauce and a mint to garnish. It is delicious, airy, and leaving more to be desired- literally. If you have a huge appetite, this will not fill you up. I was still hungry afterward and literally wanted more, but at $12 for two pancakes, it is steep in comparison to their other brunch items. The breakfast sandwich was eggs, cheese, and bacon with a side of their home cut potatoes. Again, the food was delicious and my SO found himself full from his meal. So much that he couldn't finish some of his potatoes- lucky me?! I will not consider getting the pancakes again, but something else entirely. It was great to try once and it is delicious, but the portion is too small for me to consider as a breakfast/ brunch option. read more

4.5 SOOOOOOOOLID! I'm a big fan of the Burnt group, Burnt Truck, Burntzilla and now Burnt Crumbs. I was beyond excited when they announced their second location last year for Irvine. That should've been their first since they seem to be based in Irvine and I'm selfish, I'm still too afraid to visit that trendy Pacific city development in HB LOL. Anywho, the service at all their establishments have always been stellar, so when we walk in we're greeted and if you're know, the staff is knowledgeable about the menu. Now I've only had a few things, most of the time their specials. The only thing I've had on their staple menu was that spaghetti grilled cheese and housemade chips. It's CRAAAAAACK. It's worth the hype and I don't know why I haven't ordered another since earlier this year LOL. Their chips are so good we always get 2 orders of them. Dipping it in their whipped sauce taste like a true chips and dish bowl. We've had their seasonal items like Chinese chicken salad toast, Thanksgiving toast and their Turkey sandwich. Which all have been stellar and I can't wait til they bring back the Thanksgiving toast. It's almost as good if not better than their Thanksgiving slider at Burntzilla DROOOOOOOL. I still want to try their Pastrami, Southern Fried chicken sandwich and that juicy looking House burger mmmmm. Maybe I'll pay them a visit this week. It's about time I grace them with my presence again :p read more

Ordered the breakfast burrito and boy was it a FAT burrito. They pack it with tons of food so it's definitely worth it and keeps you full. The staff there were all super friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend this place if you are in the Irvine area and looking for a place to get some good breakfast food. read more

The breakfast burritos by default come with fried "breakfast homestyle potatoes" on the side, as well as a cup of house red salsa. Sriracha/Extra Red Salsa are available by request at no charge.

Then part of my father in law's order was substituted unbeknownst to him or informed by the waiter. Then they brought him an alternate side (at his request), which took until everyone was done with their dinner for him to receive - which turns out it was not worth it and was "absolutely disgusting" to quote someone at our table. At no point was this acknowledged by the waiter (dark hair, earrings with gauges) or the manager. We asked for to go boxes and the waiter brought to go boxes that did not fit amount of food we had left. Also, for a restaurant at this caliber, you would expect the waiter to package your own food to go or at least to be observant of what's needed for you to do it yourself. I took my son to the bathroom in the middle of all of this (which did not have toilet paper in either of our stalls) and as we were walking back, saw the manager (white button down sweater, black pants, dark hair in ponytail) talking trash with the bartender about a fellow employee. Both pancakes and coffees are yummy, although coffee is a little bit on the sweeter and stronger side, if your not used to Vietnamese coffee, this might be too strong for you. Buttermilk chicken biscuit is the way to go!! This isn't any biscuit from KFC! The biscuit is good and buttery...has the density that you would expect from a biscuit but much more moist and chewy and is baked to that crunchy golden brown that we all love ! The chicken is fried to perfection and the honey sriracha on top is the best addition. The mashed potatoes are okay.. good but it's a thin layer that you almost forget it's there. I had to minus one star bc their "free drink check in" ONLY applies to soda (did not see that stated on Yelp) However... pay the extra .50 and get that sweet tea (with strawberry purée)! One thing to keep in mind is that indoor seating is fairly limited. Depending on when you visit, finding a table could potentially be a challenge. Thankfully, there is outdoor seating available as well, which is a nice option, especially with Southern California weather. Overall, great food and fantastic service. As for the coffee, it's not really my thing -- I usually head to the Starbucks just down the street for my caffeine fix. Breakfast has always felt somewhat predictable to me eggs, pancakes, French toast, maybe some potatoes and even the higher-end brunch establishments, while they may use more refined ingredients, sometimes only manage to give the classics a slight edge over your run-of-the-mill breakfast joint. Then I experienced Santa Ana Brunch Club. When I say this was the best breakfast I have ever had, that is honestly an understatement. And yes, that comes with one very important disclaimer: no seafood* I'm allergic. Everything was phenomenal. And I mean everything. Most restaurants treat eggs like a supporting character a side dish, a filler, something added to make the plate appear more substantial. Santa Ana Brunch Club clearly sees them differently. The scrambled eggs were impossibly fluffy, beautifully seasoned, and carried an original flavor profile that was immediately distinguishable from any other eggs I've encountered. They weren't there to fill space; they were part of the composition. Now, what did I order? Bubbies Fried Chicken n Pancakes substituted with French toast. And this French toast... It looked like something pulled directly from the pages of a culinary magazine or lifted from a beautifully produced food television show. It was almost so visually perfect that I felt like I shouldn't touch it. But once I did, the presentation became secondary because the flavor was even more impressive. I have never considered myself a French toast person. With it being a small place, one thing that stood out was that our food came out late. We were told it was because there was a large order placed when our order was placed. That was fine. No big deal but not too long after we finished eating and paid for our food, we were being rushed off so that the table could be used for the next guest. We understood but my thought was now we are being rushed when our food came out pretty late. I thought they forgot about us. But it wasn't an issue. We gathered our things and left. We completely understood and they were really polite about letting us know it was time to leave. Another thing I would like to see done, when they are able, is a makeover for the restroom. I was hesitant, not because of the looks but because there is only one bathroom and I couldn't figure out if the door was locked or not Once you go, if you visit before the knob is changed, you'll understand what I mean. Overall, I'd go back. It was good and the people there were really cool.

My husband and I were a fan because they're easier to chew and less of a jaw workout. Even the lox on the bagel was less salty and not as fishy which we liked. I saw that they had ssamjang cream cheese and jjajang cream cheese I think on the special menu. I'll have to come back to try those next! The environment inside the store is really nice, but the real winner is the corporate plaza's outside seating by the fountain area. What a great location with an amazing view. This is a great place to get a morning bagel and take a stroll.

We ordered the Tokyo 7-11 and Peach Jasmine Tea. The bagel was SO good and easily the highlight for me. It is a little pricey, but I thought the quality was there. The tea was solid too and paired nicely with the meal. The staff was also incredibly friendly and helpful, especially when explaining the menu and answering our questions. Overall, we had a great experience at Rise Bagels. There are so many other things on the menu that caught our attention, so we'd definitely love to come back and try more!
