Decisions...decisions...a pulled pork sandwich or spaghetti grilled cheese? Fries or chips? Salad or...never mind...I'll skip the salad! I was afraid it would be super slow and busy at lunchtime, but they keep everything going very nicely. The pulled pork was sooooo good but the Ruben was even better!! The couple next to me ordered the spaghetti sandwich and looked like they were in heaven as they ate it. It's on my list of items to try. The menu is definitely better than burntzilla and he portions are bigger. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Another one of my FAVES!!! I've always been a big fan of these guys from back in their Burntzilla days. The food here is ALWAYS consistent - ALWAYS fresh - ALWAYS delicious!!! Are there decadent items in the menu .. absolutely but there are healthier options to balance everything out. Just my opinion - but I think the reason Burnt Crumbs is so consistent is that they nearly always have some upper management and/or owner present at all times. Egg and cheese on a biscuit is insanely good! The biscuit is large and the perfect consistency. The eggs are always made perfectly every time, and are never too dry. Not much else here is vegetarian friendly, so I can't speak to anything else food wise. I wish they would get fresh made iced tea. The unsweetened one they have in the soda machine tastes...not like iced tea. But the egg on a biscuit is so good, it's worth it! However, because it is a sandwich filled with noodles and cheese - you feel extremely greasy after eating it. Very carb-heavy! It is very good nonetheless and the marina sauce was amazing. We also ordered a side of fries which were average but the garlic aioli made it worth it. My friend ordered the pork belly torta the bread was so freaking soft. She says it was also very good! The portions were big and they use very fresh ingredients so the prices are on the higher side. A lot of their items are over $10 except the side orders. Thought it would be too cheesy, but was just the right amount of cheese, sauce, and bread. The bread was toasted to perfection, and had a garlic kick to it. I also tried their new Strawberry Lemonade, which was refreshing and had a good amount of pulp. Would definitely get it again. The thing that stood out most here was the friendly staff. I was lucky to deal with Mike, since he told me about almost every item on the menu and which he recommended with pictures. Going to try the Fried Chicken Sandwich next time, since that was also highly recommended. Definitely recommend this place for a quick lunch spot, there are a lot of tables and seating outside, even though it tends to get crowded around the lunch hour. All the options sounded tasty, but they are all pretty heavy. They offer unique sandwiches; they also have toasts (avocado!), salads and sides. But who comes here and gets a salad, right? I ordered the crispy pork with sauce on the side because the lady said it was mild spicy. The sandwich was delicious and the pork was seasoned perfectly. My friends ordered the southern fried chicken sandwich and the spaghetti grilled cheese. Both of those looked mouth watering too. We thought it was a little pricey-sandwiches range from $9-$10. It was really fresh, crunchy, and delicious. The buttermilk fried chicken biscuit was sooo good. The chicken is juicy but crispy, and it has a lump of mash potato and gravy so beware of the calories. The strawberry tea was blended to perfection. The fries were the only thing that were sub par, they were very overcooked (my friend asked for a refund for them). Was excited to try this place due to the rave reviews and good looking pictures. I already had my eye on the 11-day pastrami sandwich (it wasn't listed on the menu but they still served it) since I love myself a good pastrami sandwich (Langerrrrs). I thought the sandwich itself was decent but was lacking something (a slice of cheese, perhaps?). The meat was pretty lean but a bit on the dry/salty side. There wasn't a whole lot of meat either. However, the rye bread was pretty delicious (I do NOT like rye bread either). Fries were freshly cooked so were piping hot and good. All in all, I think this place is good but does not warrant the high prices. Unless they expand their menu to include additional items, I likely will not return. A soda dispenser is available for easy access for refills also. Food is brought out pretty quickly to your table after you order. When I found myself deeply impressed by Burntzilla, I knew I had to try The Burnt Truck's other offspring, Burnt Crumbs. I was afraid they might be too similar or too different, or not quite on the same level of quality. I was wrong to be worried at all. Burnt Crumbs is nothing like Burntzilla except on one thing: quality, and that means the service too! Both don't cut corners anywhere and only deliver you the best of the best. While Burntzilla is about small asian-inspired sliders and hot dogs, Burnt Crumbs is about sandwiches. I tried the Roast Beef sandwich, which was nothing like any other roast beef I've ever had. Every ingredient seemed meticulously selected to create a flavor profile that is unique and sensational. The roast beef was juicy, gentle, and there was plenty of it. The bread had a crispy interior and a thick soft interior. The provolone just added that complementary cheesiness, but the dominant taste was of course the horseradish mayo. Wow, you could tell this was a homemade horseradish mayo with a good bit of burn and a great flavor. If I had one complaint it was that there was probably a little too much horseradish mayo and it may have slightly overpowered the other parts of my sandwich, but it was all still miles ahead of any other roast beef I've had. Well done Burnt Crumbs, well done indeed. I can't forget the fries now! The fries were thick, perfectly salted, and were nice and crispy on the outside. The garlic aioli they give you with it is the best around, and I'm surprised to say I may prefer it as a dipping sauce for my fries over ranch, and I love me some ranch. read more

Southern fried chicken sandwich - enough said. Obviously comfort food but I don't feel gross afterwards despite having mashed potatoes, fried chicken, and biscuit ALL in one bite. Sometimes when fried chicken is too greasy it makes me nauseous but I was ready to eat another one because it was cooked to perfection. The fries come with garlic aioli which was honestly just "okay" to me, may be a little too rich to dip in but since they don't have ranch it's the next best thing. We've been coming to the Irvine location awhile now, today was our first time trying their brunch menu, which is only available on weekends. We've yet to get anything we didn't thoroughly enjoy, & today was no exception. I finally got around to trying the Spaghetti Grilled Cheese Sandwich, and it's delish! Pure comfort food. The Breakfast Burrito was outstanding, but next time I might ask for a little extra cilantro crema. (I really like cilantro.) My wife's breakfast sandwich w/ the pastrami hash was outstanding. Mom's breakfast rice dish was amazing- even my wife who doesn't normally like Spam said she'd order that any day. The breakfast potatoes, which come with many of the breakfast entrees, but are also available as a side, are crispy perfection. The Fluffy Soufflé Pancakes are every bit as good as everyone says. We got an order for the table, with the berry compote. (They're light and fluffy, and taste like they're made of cream and air.) Next time we'll try the strawberry topping, which looks like something from a Disney cartoon, all pink frosting or icing. The mimosas had a touch of strawberry purée I think, and it was a really nice touch. 5 entrees, 3 mimosas, and an order of the soufflé pancakes came to $104.00, which for the quality I count as a good deal And I just can't say enough good things about the staff! They were on top of everything! Well above & beyond what you'd expect from a place where you order at the counter. Not only did they check in on us every so often, but they anticipated what we needed as far as boxes for leftovers. (They even asked if they could bring extra sauce for our takeaway!) I've been in love with Burnt Truck for years and since they've opened 2 storefront locations in my area I'm really hooked on them now! Burntzilla and Burnt Crumbs are two very different concepts which I can really appreciate. Burntzilla is all sliders and Burnt Crumbs is more Artisan sandwiches and toasts. I can tell everything is made from scratch especially their potato chips, those things are CRACK! Especially with the sour cream dip! Everytime I come here I always get the same thing LOL! The spaghetti grilled cheese! It's just as drool worthy in the pictures as it is in person! You can really share this with another person, the sandwich is just that big! I usually share it with my sister but now that she's on her health kick she doesn't partake in deliciousness like this! The bread reminds you of garlic bread with such tasty spaghetti in between topped off with lots of melty cheese! Make sure you ask for 2 sides of the marinara sauce it has a kick and really complements the sandwich!
