The beef noodles were delicious! We got the no spicy egg noodles for our dish. You can choose from rice or egg noodles. The sizes were huge so you can definitely share or just save some soup for the next day! The lady at the checkout was super sweet and helpful. You can order pickup or delivery and the food is ready so fast. Definitely recommend for a hearty meal!

We were looking to eat some noodles that would make our day in this chilly weather. We saw that Burp Bowl Cafe was offering some Chinese-style noodles so we decided to give it a try. The restaurant was pretty small and it seemed like more of a take-out place rather than sit-in. The waiter was pretty friendly and took our orders very quickly. It only took about 5 minutes for our food to come out and we were shocked at how piping hot it was too. They used plastic utensils that were almost sort of collected from other restaurants? Pretty interesting. I tried the beef rice noodle soup (mild spicy) but it was too spicy for me. I think it had some mala in it because my lips/tongue started feeling numb by the end of the meal. There are generous portions of beef and bok choy with the dish. The noodles were very bouncy and smooth, so I wasn't sure if I was chewing my noodles. The next morning, I had a crazy stomachache and so did my partner who dined with me at this restaurant. I didn't eat breakfast or lunch the day prior, so it was definitely the food here that got me into this situation. Not sure what it was, but I am highly contemplating if I will be coming back. Food: 2/5 Service: 3/5 Ambiance: 3/5

Stopped by today at Burp Bowl Cafe, today is opening day! Check out the menu. It is very small spot with very small tables, more of a takeout or delivery spot. Not to eat in.

The service was amazing and the lady at the front desk was so welcoming and kind. However, the noodles in the beef noodles were extremely mushy and unpleasant to eat. The wontons in the soup were the same and the meat in the wontons was not good and have some smell into it. I hope they improve.

I'm ordering this every Friday from now on. Burp bowl is authentic and affordable, service is friendly and fast, and I do crave a good bowl of noodles...all the time. It's the a very small store with some seating, but I just take it to go.

Stumbled upon this place as we were getting to know the area. The menu is small but more than enough. The dishes offered were very authentic. We had beef noodle soups, intestine noodle soup and the wonton noodles soup. All were so flavorful and delishious. I can't wait to go back for a mid day snack. Oh and can't forget the great customer service 10/10.

Asian language receipt for WRONG ORDER

Bad news for GrubHub and Burp Bowl. The entire process gave me indigestion. Perhaps the restaurant has the right name. I ordered from GrubHub for delivery. It was completely wrong. None of the items I ordered were included. Called the restaurant and language was problematic. The little bit of conversation we had, the woman told me I would receive another delivery. That never arrived. 45 minutes later I called back and she told me to come there and pick it up myself. Then she hung up on me. I called back 10 more times and she kept hanging up and not answering. Finally, someone answered who spoke English and told me I should just cancel the order and get a refund on my own and then re-order and they would resend. I am not ordering from there again or ever! Horrible customer service. Awful experience. I have no idea if the food is good or not. Based on how I was treated, I wouldn't expect the food to be worth eating. But

Yummy! Great for satisfying your cravings for Chinese noodle soup. Rice noodles are bouncy and light. Lots of Chinese people ordering which is a good sign

The restaurant itself is clean and well lit--a great place to stop by for a good, hearty meal. We ordered the Lanzhou Beef Noodle and Pork Hamburger. I really enjoyed both dishes. The noodles were cooked perfectly, and the beef was delicious. I will say that I wish the broth had more flavor, but it did feel light and clean. The pork hamburger came with a good amount of meat, which I appreciated. It was super juicy and flavorful. The service was quick and attentive, and I felt that the prices were reasonable. All in all, super great meal!

The restaurant is near my friend's place. The place was exactly what we were looking for... Inexpensive, cozy and comfortable atmosphere! The place was a little busy, and didn't take reservations, but we were seated immediately. Amazing service and delicious food! The food was fresh and came out fast. Portions are generous, so you definitely won't leave hungry. My favorite dish was the Signature Lanzhou Beef Noodle Soup, which was delicious and flavorful, and also gluten free, dairy free and soy free. Others had something else I had no interest in to remember the name. Their menu has many options to offer, including gluten free, soy free, and dairy free options. We would come back again and highly recommend you check out this place if you are in Murray Hill Manhattan. My only complaint was that I noticed a male staff member leave the restroom without flushing the toilet, which took away from an otherwise positive dining experience.

The beef soup is clear and light and the noodles have a delightful texture, with a slight chew and good bounce. There's a good portion of braised beef as well. Tender but a bit fatty for my taste, but given the portion it's not going to kill you. Lamb burger ended up as overkill and will be consumed as leftovers but a quick sampling let me know that it's gamey and fatty with strong notes of cumin. Not a bad thing, but something to note for people that might not generally enjoy lamb or cumin. Black pepper beef rice bowl was solid too. Spice wise, you can calibrate accordingly but I'd recommended at least their regular spice level. Decent amount of tenderized but still chewy beef. Both dishes came with a salad of celery, carrot, cucumber, peanuts and seaweed strips in a light sauce. Couldn't quite figure out the sauce but it was lightly tart and refreshing. Space is clean and modern. Neutral wood, well lit. Service is friendly enough. If you dine in, you order at the kiosk and they'll deliver to your table. We had leftovers that they graciously packed up. Solid choice. I hope they stick around as they do bring a different cuisine to the area.

They should have kept the door locked instead of having customers wait outside in 90 degree heat and humidity. I came back to a line but was seated right away. I ordered the Classic Tonkotsu with the chashu rice ball lunch set. The presentation was beautiful, and I liked the fortune card. The bartender/server was friendly, attentive, and provided great service. Unfortunately, the ramen wasn't for me. The broth, ramen, and egg was extremely salty and oily to the point where all I could taste was salt. The chashu was extremely salty. I should have picked some off. The tonkotsu...I couldn't finish it, and it didn't sit well with my stomach. I didn't say anything at the time because I thought maybe it was just me, but after reading more reviews, I realized others had a similar experience. I do want to come back and try a different dish, like the cold noodles or a bun I saw another customer enjoying. For now, it's 2 stars. I'll come back one more time and give a new update.
