It is hard to believe that I have been eating here regularly since the location opened over 20 years ago. Wow does time flyby!! Of course the staff has changed over the years, but there is always plenty of parking, and the food has been consistently good. My go to meats are Al Pastor, carnitas, and carne asada. Growing up I lived near a Burrito Factory and they were really good. However I feel the quality has gone down a lot compared to other taquerias. I ordered an al pastor regular burrito and ordered it with onions, al pastor, rice, refried beans and added cheese and toasted. It was a decent size but when I bit into it, it was basically a bean burrito. Very few pieces of al pastor, one piece of onion, and un-melted cheese at the bottom. This place has gotten progressively worse over the years. I went and ordered a plate of flautas with rice and beans and one regular burrito. It was over $30 for two items. The flautas were not even stuffed all the way. They have gotten smaller and size and don't even stuff them. They have no chips and salsa for free. Every Mexican restaurant should have free chips and salsa. It's just like bread that comes for free with a meal. I went here because we had a gift card and won't be going back. Burrito Factory never disappoints. The food is fabulous and I find myself coming back again and again. Why? Because it's so delicious! Oscar, the manager, is always warm and friendly as he takes your order or makes suggestions about meals or combination platters. They've got really good food here I go during my lunch break at work and they always bring out my food pretty quickly. They've got kind workers, and my favorite thing to get off the menu is the machaca con huevo breakfast burrito and a large horchata. The horchata here is super tasty, one day I went and they didn't have any and it made me pretty bummed out but I got the Jamaica and it tasted real good too. Can't go wrong with burrito factory especially for the price. All I can say is if you have a problem with the customer service at this location, maybe you should check your attitude at the door. These people are lovely, gracious, and accommodating. I just had the most amazing shrimp burrito of my life. That says a lot because I'm 58! (and I've been to Ecuador) This is the 1st restaurant I've eaten at where they actually cut the shrimp into appropriate, bite-size pieces. Brilliant and yet so simple. The lovely lady on the cash register who took my order was very helpful talking me through what I truly wanted. She got me! Love this place. It's my local burrito go to place. I usually get the regular chile verde burrito cuz it's got the right amount of kick and flavor. Needed a quick dinner on Thursday night so I popped into Burrito Factory. Easy to get to location and plenty of parking. Dining area is small so not ideal for large groups to eat in but good for smaller groups of 2 or 3 to enjoy a meal. Salsa bar is good. They have the basics (green, red, cilantro, limes, pickled veg, orange sauce and onions). Service was good. Very efficient and quick. Although it's called the burrito factory, they have many more options. The nachos looked good as did the enchiladas. I opted for the basic Super Burrito with chicken. Good size, filling was evenly distributed and the beans were YUMMY. I can totally see why my daughter gets their bean burritos. Nom Nom. I got my order to go so it was about 15/20 minutes before I finally sat on the couch to eat and even then, it was still warm and delicious. If I were in that part of town again and hungry, I'd totally stop in. The only reason I didn't give this another star was I felt it was a tad pricey for the size. These aren't Giant burritos by any means. But other than that, good basic burritos and well worth the try if you're looking for a quick unpretentious belly filler. read more

I've ordered from here a few times for work lunches. They have big portions especially the burritos, the shredded chicken and pork are pretty decent but nothing too special. i've had the tacos with al pastor and wouldn't recommend the meat it was super oily and salty. I've heard good things about the carne asada so I might try that next time. I do like that they give you a lot of salsa and chips! Was going to get Chipotle but decided to stop by and try this instead for once. Ordered a carne asada super burrito. The burrito was lacking in flavor and it seemed to have a stingy amount of meat. The portion size was just ok, considering it was mostly rice and beans. However, what saved my meal was the SERRANO SALSA VERDE! That is one of the best sauces I've had. I actually tried all 4: the red chile salsa, salsa verde, serrano salsa verde, and the chipotle sauce. I would say the ranking is 1. serrano salsa verde 2. red chile salsa 3. salsa verde 4. chipotle sauce. The chipotle sauce I have no idea what I would eat it with since it's very rich and creamy, seems like overkill for Mexican food. Will stick with serrano salsa verde and the red chile salsa only next time! Will probably come back just to eat the serrano salsa verde but might order tacos instead next time. I have been going to this location for over 20 years because they are close to where I have lived, the food is so fresh & yummy, customer service has always been so awesome, and the prices cannot be beaten either! They cook with vegetable oils rather than lard, offer whole wheat tortillas as I prefer, and have the best free salsas to-go as well. I try to stick with veggie burritos and other items unless meats are organic and/or grass-fed only, but years ago I loved the tastes of their Chili Colorado (sometimes a little fatty) and CA Chicken Burritos. I tried another location on Almaden Expy over a couple of years ago, but they would sometimes get my call-in orders wrong and were not good about correcting their mistakes (very busy with poor customer service), so I cannot speak for other locations. read more

It really has been awhile for me since I have been to this location. My wife usually gets take-out for the Ohana (Family in Hawaiian) and does the pickup. Since my wife was craving for Burrito Factory after we did some shopping we quickly drove here. To my surprise on this sunny Memorial Day, it was packed with many hungry customers and was great to see many people here. Staff is friendly & very attentive to order taking and servicing of the tables inside and outside. I am not sure if they still have free WI-FI here as my phone didn't pick up their router unless they have changed the password. I didn't bother to ask either. However the free chips are back and is a welcome sign since my last review. There are new decor on the wall as the last time I was here they had framed poster prints (luckily someone took a pic to show what it was like in the past). They now they have wall decor of hearts with wings and a large heart that looks very Catholic like. Or someone's next tattoo idea As usual my wife and I order our Fajita and Enchilada Platters. To my surprise the fajitas are now served on a separate grill plate while the rest of the items like the rice, beans etc are served in small bowls. Food is always good and very satisfying. Maybe I was starving or craving mexican but mmm... it was worth it and shall return again... and again ... oh and again.. hehe I ordered the super burrito... i asked for no beans since im not a fan of them ... and had them use the spinach tortilla ... my choice of protein was chicken fajita which came with sauteed peppers and onions ... the super comes with rice.. sour cream.. guac.. beans ... and pico. Ordered a bean rice and cheese burrito from here 4 times. Burrito tasted OK and I like their orange sauce, but they managed to screw up a simple BRC burrito 2 out of 4 times. Once with wrong type of beans and no rice, another time they got the beans right and forgot the rice again.
