I was on the west side of Delray and it was lunchtime so I decided to stop in here and have lunch. They have some nice lunch specials which include your soup and beverage my salmon shrimp burger was really good and the soup was different. It was it a Thai chili, which I thought it was gonna be like a chili, but it wasn't. It was actually pretty tasty. I always get a pretty good meal here and it's a nice atmosphere. I had a business lunch and Burt & Max's was a good choice. very nice lunch menu. Started with the Blackened Edamame with a togarashi-hoisin glaze, very good with a nice spiciness. I chose the 6 Oz Special Blend Burger with lettuce, tomato, red onion, pickle chips, and challah bun. Comes with a choice of soup, house salad, French fries, or sweet potato fries. Just had lunch there after church. We sat at the bar. The food wasn't even close to good. We ordered the Prime Burger and a BBQ chicken salad. The burger was maybe 5oz if that, and was 19 dollars. Super bland and a small portion. The chicken on the salad wasn't cooked all the way through. The fries were ordered weren't correct so they brought out new truffle fries that were not even luke warm. Bartender cleared our plates with half of the chicken still on the salad and never asked why we didn't eat it. 80 dollar lunch and my wife and I left hungry. We won't be back again. The food was cooked below average to say the least. No manager on the floor or visible in sight throughout our meal. read more

I'm giving one star because I don't see an option to do none at all. My husband and I just went on a date together this evening and we sat there for over two hours, watching all the tables around us that came after we got there -getting their checks before our food was even brought to our table. I had to go up to the front desk to let them know that we had been sitting there for a long time waiting while others after us are done eating and now paying. Seconds later, they brought our food out. It tasted like it had been sitting in the kitchen for the amount of time we sat waiting for it. Fries were cold. Mashed potatoes cold. I'm really not sure why it's so packed in there. We went for the first time tonight thinking it would be a great experience. The food is definitely subpar. The manager came over to our table and offered us a dessert since we had to wait so long for food and she apologized. We ordered a hot brownie with ice cream. Waited for a long time for that, regretting putting the rest in. Finally can out and the ice cream was completely melted -looked like a bowl of soup. We didn't want to wait a half an hour for our check so we walked up to the front desk and paid them there. We will never go back again. read more

Mariah was our server and she was the most knowledgeable and helpful server that I have ever had in any restaurant. She knew exactly how to modify a menu item so that it could be vegan. She knew her stuff! She was at our table readily throughout the meal to help us and cater to our every needs. Back to Florida for our usual trip We asked for Joey as we normally do but when he came to our table he was dressed up and after a nice hug to us, he informed us he was managing but we were in good hands with Julie and he would be back to check on us. An overall okay experience. We had the sweetest server. I appreciated her courtesy and knowledge of the menu. My husband and I came here for brunch on a Sunday. The brunch menu only had a handful of options but you were still able to order off of the regular menu if you preferred. We started with the French onion soup dumplings which were pretty good. I thought they were a little over priced for the amount of food. We then split the Fried Chicken & Waffles. The waffles were the best I've ever had. The fried chicken was cooked perfectly and served with a nice hot sauce. I would rate this a 10/10! Drink special included $6 mimosas . HOWEVER, at this marvelous place I was extremely surprised on the amazing service and delicious food. we had Eight for Mother's day dinner and each of us had a delectable meal. My wife and I took the parents out and we had such a great meal I was ready to go back today! My wife had the shrimp and salmon burger and I had the steak bowl. both were cooked to perfection and came out hot. and everyone else at the table enjoyed each of their meals. Ohhhh yes!! This place must be good look at all these people waiting to get in! ( that was my thought as I walked up to the hostess stand) anddd boy was I right! The wait for two on a Friday night around 7ish was 45minutes for inside and over an hour for outside. Yup that's serious; so hubs and I decided to head to the bar! Perfect! Two empty social distancing seats. We were greeted by Paige and the crew! ( her, Joe and the other guy: can't recall his name- (sorry) were absolutely amazing, attentive, friendly, and funny! We had a blast at the bar and the food was unbelievable. We ordered the mouth watering cooked to perfection brick oven wings!!!!!!! Holy Heck they were good, we also go the one of a kind mushroom pizza and the lobster and shrimp burger! Everything was great and to top it off the margaritas Paige whipped up were the icing on the cake. We loved this place and would definitely return sooner than later!
