Egg drop seaweed soup blazing hot (temperature). Pretty good Soup dumplings pretty good meat a bit overworked making it a bit chewy. Pricey at $2 a piece. Pork chive dumplings good except the dumpling wrappers are very thick, not thin like we are more familiar with. Vegetarian dumplings very good except again wrappers are thick Everything arrived piping hot. Service was a little slow but they were clearly a bit understaffed, but dealing well and very nice waitstaff, well versed in the menu offering great suggestions, we did offer our feedback on the thickness of the the wrappers. So far, the best dim sum we've had in Dallas. But beware - while the prices are similar to other restaurants, portions are much smaller. All of the steamed dumplings were very good. The siu mai and har gow both of the quality you would expect in a high end dumpling house. Notable are the seafood siu mai and the shrimp dumpling with cilantro. For fried items, the crispy shrimp ball was excellent. Crispy and tender, not overcooked and rubbery as is more common. The pan fried dumplings were tasty but were not well browned and lacked the crispy exterior you would expect. Be advised that portions for most dishes are two pieces so expect to order more than you might at other restaurants. As a result, we spent about double what we would ordinarily spend on dim sum in Dallas but the quality and variety make it well worth the extra cost. read more

Food was good but vibe was weird. It felt like they were trying to be fancy by serving dim sum in presentation in fancy spoons but honestly, I rather have the dim sum steamer and more food. Cost the same as a regular dim sum place. I didn't like the cooked hot food served on a bed of lettuce because it was sticky. I didn't want to eat lettuce with dumplings. Stumbled on this place while craving soup dumplings one day. You don't have much by means of customer service; you scan a qr and order straight from your phone and then your food is delivered by a robot, which seem to be only halfway working. It looked like there were a total of three people working when we were there, all very busy and hard to flag down for things we needed. This is the worst place I have ever eaten. The appetizer was almost all fat & I was overcharged. I ordered from the menu they gave me then when the bill came I was charged more than it was listed on the menu. I was told the prices have increased & the menu prices were not correct. Hands down the best dim sum restaurant in the DFW area! It is compulsory for us to try all dim sum restaurants, and Bushi Bushi did not disappoint. Every dish we tried was beautifully presented and has delicate flavors. Very authentic! Found out about this place from Facebook and never have been more pleased! It doesn't look like much from the outside, but this may be my NEW favorite place ^.^ It's a cute interior for just being opened. Service was attentive and fast! Thank you to the owners (I assume) who took care of us and others. We ordered the beef udon, veggie dumpling, hargar, beef HK, chicken dumping, and shrimp shumai. I loved how the texture on the chicken dumpling was chewy yet soft at the same time! Ask for chopsticks, chili oil, and soy sauce - they'll gladly give it to you! Not a place for traditional dim sum if you want good dim sum. This place is overpriced and very limited in items. They are missing the best and traditional dishes like chicken feet, beef tripes etc . So I wouldn't recommend dim sum here with family or friends on that usual Sunday or any particular day. The quality of the items We ordered are pretty good grades but once again they don't have that traditional dim sum menu like you would expect in Chinatown or any big Chinese dim sum restaurant. It is not often you can find a relatively authentic Cantonese place. This is one of them in Dallas. I met up with one of my friends here for a working lunch. The place is fairly big and it is well decorated. Parking is not too busy outside. From what I can tell, their dim sum may not be all freshly made daily, but I also didn't feel they are not fresh. Quality is solid. I was pleasantly surprised by their dry fried beef flat noodles and their water spinach. We ordered the traditional dim sum dishes too, all not too bad. Service was fast. read more

Bushi Bushi has the best dumplings and authentic Chinese dishes south of Plano! The ambience is clean, service attentive, and a nice selection of wines. Our favorite dishes are the Singapore noodles, pork soup dumplings, garlic eggplant, and mapo tofu. Unlike most Chinese restaurants, we do not find their food to be overly oily. They have in the past had fresh, pulled noodles. However, recently they told us that their noodle chef is no longer with them. read more

I've been wanting to try this place for a while now and finally got to go for lunch with a few friends from work. It did not disappoint. We tried multiple varieties of dumplings as well as fried rice and crab rangoon. While I didn't have any, a friend got the orange chicken and really enjoyed that, too. We were excited to see this place go in where our old beloved Cafe Brazil used to be. Service was good, food came out via robot tray (so fun) and everything was really good. It's a little Americanized for dim sum, some of my faves are absent from the menu, but everything we got was delicious and the added bonus was the beef chow fun (called something else here) that's often hard to find in Dallas. Price - 2 pieces of har gow for $5? I don't think so. 5 pieces of soup dumplings for $10? This is highway robbery! Soup dumplings - the XLBs was actually really good! The skin was thin, and the soup was plentiful. It was a bit sweeter than I like, but that's just personal preference. Har gow - It was ok, but for $5, I'd have expected a bit more. Half Peking duck - gosh was I disappointed. The skin was extremely crispy which was great and the crepes were so thin. But why wasn't the skin removed from the meat? Worse yet, we had pieces of duck with skin, meat AND BONES attached. That's not how you serve Peking duck! I was underwhelmed and unimpressed. There is no cart service here. You can a barcode and order through your phone then a robot brings you your food. The only time you interact with your server is when they bring out your drink and when they rush to your table to unload the food off the robot. The food is more expensive at this place than my usual dim sum spot which is odd since the other place employs way more humans. In otherwords, you're paying more for the priveldge of being served by a robot and having less human interaction. Also, there was something smeared inside my water cup so when the waitress came out to unload the robot, I asked her for another water and showed her my cup. Before she even took the cup she said, "oh it's on the outside of the cup." So I held onto the cup and wiped it in front of her and said, "no, it's on the inside. see?" She relectantly took it to the back. I bet the robot wouldn't have argued. read more

Went back for another visit today, and things have changed a little! You now order through the website (which I prefer!). We ordered har gow, siu mai, wonton in hot chili oil and crispy shrimp dumplings. The har gow and siu mai are served 4 to an order, and the crispy shrimp dumplings are 2 to the order. Everything was hot and good. The wonton in hot chili oil is different than other places I've been before, with a lot more 5 spice seasoning in it, so I wouldn't recommend it, if you're expecting something more traditional. The four plates cost us about $40 with tip, which is a departure from our last visit. Still, hits the dim sum spot when you don't want to wait 2 hours at Kirin Court on weekend afternoons. read more

I hate that I didn't take photos. I was too hungry. They allow you to order from your phone which I really like. Ordered soup dumpling, sesame chicken, spicy dumplings, and crab Rangoon. You place all your orders through your phone which made it very convenient. We did not have to wait on a waiter to come take our order or to add things. We got the veggie dumplings, chicken celery dumplings, shrimp and leak dumplings, shrimp basil dumplings, chicken shumai and Chicken fried rice. Food came out in a timely manner nice and hot. loved the very modern setting of it. they have a QR code for the menu and you add everything you want online and they will bring it to your table. you can continue adding to your order as you go, and staff is attentive and clears tables quickly. it's nice if you don't want to be interrupted a lot, especially since dim sum is small plates and things get finished off quickly, but I still miss the human interaction every once in a while. everything was VERY good. This is the only Chinese restaurant in Addison area worth visiting. I didn't enjoy the dumplings too much - I don't like the five spice flavoring.
