Tried out Butler's Easy for the first time on a Wednesday evening after work during their happy hour (everyday until 7p, all day Sunday). Parking is free out front but limited and shared with other businesses. Upon entering, we were met with a relatively small interior and a low-lit, lowkey vibe. Out of all the drinks in their happy hour menu, we were most interested in the $6 sangrias, which they offer red vs white and dry vs sweet. I opted for a red-sweet, my gal pal opted for a red-dry, and we shared a third glass of red-sweet. Although not pictured due to how excited we were to try our drinks, they were served in wine glasses that were pretty full, with lots of ice, and citrus slices infused. We enjoyed our red sangrias, as the sweet one wasn't too sweet and the dry one wasn't too dry. I've never had a sangria before, but it tasted a bit diluted, but my friend loves sangrias and enjoyed her drink so maybe that's how they're supposed to be. Unbeknownst to us, we visited on a trivia night, and by 7:15pm, the place was packed with groups of friends/adult families down to play. The theme of the trivia that night was well-known songs (and the artists who made the songs). My gal pal and I wanted more quiet time to ourselves to chat, so we escaped to the back patio outside with a few tables and outdoor cushioned benches to chat for the rest of our time here. Overall, we enjoyed our time here, especially given the cheap happy hour options. I'm interested in coming back on a weekend to try the Day Drink Club special too (see attached photo). Side notes: - 2 gender neutral, individual bathrooms in the back before going outside to the patio - when I tried to order the spinach artichoke dip on the menu, I was told Butler's Easy is limited on food and instead defers customers to order at the nearby food truck or BYOF, duly noted in case I want to drink in public but also save money on food!!! - many FREE events throughout the week, didn't take a picture on the back wall but check out their eventbrite for more info: https://www.eventbrite.com/o/butlers-easy-bar-and-lounge-30060708222 - the menus on their website are NOT updated, for example our sangrias were $6.24 vs the website says they would've been $5

Butlers Easy is my favorite bar of all time! They truly take their time with each and every customer. If you go here, you will feel right at home without a doubt. Craft cocktails, snacks, and a great happy hour. They have events, food trucks, and things like trivia nights all the time! I've never felt more welcomed at a bar. This has been my go to spot since I moved to the area. They have a great menu! If that's not your jam, they will make you whatever you desire! I love butlers easy with my whole heart! Please try it out if you haven't!!!!

We came on a Monday not knowing it was open mic comedy night. We ordered the meat and cheese tray, which actually was great. The drinks were over the top and were definitely the quality we would expect from a high end cocktail bar downtown. The bartender, Becca, truly was amazing. Her drinks were great and she was doing everything herself. She was great. We will definitely come again, probably not on open mic night but we will for sure come back.

Great spot to grab an elevated drink. Bartender was friendly and made a great drink. Very chill environment.

Had some really amazing drinks here and was super impressed with the bartender! Everything was perfectly crafted. This is also a cute spot with enough room for groups to come and hang out. They also have a little patio in the back. Everyone was super friendly and we even ended up chatting with a group of girls. I would definitely go back!

Dear friend was transitioning and closing one chapter and starting a new so we went to lament and celebrate. Butlers Easy was absolutely the perfect choice with the right amount of light space comfort and style to relax and drink (literally) it ALL in! Enjoyed many offerings from their happy hour menu as we discussed life and the things that matter most as you reflect. Pumped to come back and bring our wives and maybe even another time and place to enjoy cigars out on their patio.

We came down to Butler's Easy on a Saturday night, and it did not disappoint! They have a really cool Day Drink Club, which is such a fun concept. We tried the margaritas and tequila old fashioneds, and both were on point. We also went with a dealer's choice cocktail, asked for something not sweet, and it was absolutely perfect--exactly what we were hoping for. The vibe is great for cocktails, and the prices are super reasonable. The only food we noticed on the menu was a pretzel, so this is definitely more of a spot for drinks than a full meal. If you're looking for a relaxed place with great cocktails and a good atmosphere, this is a solid choice.

What a gem! Went on a whim and had such a great time. Sat at the cozy bar and enjoyed beautiful and top notch crafted cocktails and great conversations. It's very quant and full of diversity. The live music was a special treat. My only negative was it's so far from where I live. But it's that special that I will make the drive again.

The space is warm, moody, and inviting--like a lighthearted Western brought to life--with candlelight and rich wooden accents creating an atmosphere that begs you to settle in and stay awhile. The drink menu was eclectic and thoughtfully curated, offering both trendy and classic cocktails alongside an impressive selection of spirits, beer, and wine. The bartenders were knowledgeable enough to suggest excellent off-menu creations and kept the drinks--including the water--flowing with effortless style and hospitality. The wedge salad was crisp and bright, elevated by thoughtful ingredients like jalapeño bacon and balsamic onions. The crab dip was a standout: packed generously with crab and complemented by just the right amount of cheese, finely chopped red onions, and crispy breadcrumbs. We ended the evening with St. George Absinthe, an absolute gem of an offering. Jake, Brad, and Stormy were kind, attentive, and full of great recommendations without ever feeling pushy or intrusive. We were able to truly enjoy each other's company while feeling genuinely cared for by the staff. Parking in the garage next door was graciously validated at the host stand. But, if you're looking for a really cool bar, KWSC is for you. I stopped by on a week day evening around 8:30 p.m. Located in Roosevelt Row, while there isn't parking, I found free parking on the street a few minutes away on foot. Ambiance (4.5/5): My type of spot. Dimly lit with a speakeasy vibe. There are eight or so seats at the bar, and the rest of your seating options consist of comfortable chairs and sofas. You'll see a lot of photos of people's bums on the walls lol. This is indeed part of the appeal. For free, if you would like, they will take a polaroid of your butt and memorialize you eternally on the walls. While I didn't do that, if that's up your alley, go for it. Service (2/5): This is the main area of improvement. After being seated, I was greeted promptly and got my first cocktail promptly. From there, things fell apart. I had to grab the bartender's attention to order my second drink and to close out. It was a week day and they weren't busy. And there were two bartenders. A lack of attentiveness. When I closed out, I noticed that the cocktails were both $2 more expensive than what was listed on the menu. When I inquired, I was told that the menus were outdated... umm what? If you're not going to re-print your menus, give people a heads-up when they arrive. I understand that most people won't notice, but this is deception. Food (N/A): I was on a liquid diet. If you're trying to eat here, all they have is snacks. The menu doesn't specify but I'm thinking it's probably chips or somethign like that. Drinks (4/5): A lengthy, and interesting, cocktail list. Similar to a speakeasy, you're going to see creativity and an interesting blend of flavors here. The most popular drink is Fuck Nazis. We're seeing a theme here. KWSC is an interesting spot. For various dollar amounts, you can get funny things outside of the polaroids of your bum. My first cocktail was great. My second one, a tiki drink, not so much. The menu said that there would be some flame action happening. It didn't. Just another example of the service falling short. If the service were better, Killer Whale Sex Club would easily be a five-star experience.

The atmosphere was unique, the bartenders were genuinely engaging, and there was a real sense of community that made every visit memorable. It became my go-to spot to bring friends from out of town and every single person I brought absolutely loved it! Back then, the cocktails felt intentional and creative, not just rushed out for volume. The staff remembered regulars, conversations flowed naturally, and the whole place had this warm, eclectic energy that made you want to stay for hours. Even on busy nights, it somehow still felt personal. Unfortunately, over the last couple of years, the vibe has changed quite a bit. The drinks just aren't as consistently good as they used to be, especially considering the prices now. Service feels far more transactional and impersonal, and the atmosphere that once made this place stand out has faded into something much more generic. It feels less like a neighborhood gem and more like a stop on a nightlife circuit.
