Okay. Seriously the most pleasant staff I've encountered in a bar setting. This beautiful cocktail lounge is such a hidden gem. Drinks were wonderful and affordable; which is crazy nowadays! From the first time I walked into this place, I felt like I was home. Live music is some guy that won American Idol or something, and holy shit. I sat there and drank for three hours because of him. This is a hidden gem in Phoenix. It may be in an unassuming strip mall in the middle of Phoenix but the cocktails and wine are worthy of any speakeasy. They have an excellent craft cocktail menu. Stopped by to check out this place on a Sunday afternoon. Rosemary was our bartender, and she not only made some delicious cocktails (Pisco Sour and Vieux Carre), she was attentive and nice to chat with. The inside is cozy and cute. They sell cigars (from Embargo right down the road) if you want to take one on the patio. The only reason I didn't give a full 5 stars was the lack of a happy hour and because the patio had no atmosphere. Just tables, an outdoor sofa and TV. The Bartenders, Rosemary, Arel, Hayden and Seth are the most welcoming and generous servers i have had the pleasure of getting to know. As a regular, this is the home away from home. Ive never come here and have had a single complaint, from the drinks, to the servers, to the other patrons, it all is a very welcoming bar. Not to mention the events they have and host monthly, such as their Wine Club, their Trivia and Their live Music. Hosting amazing artists such as Wade Cota and Ashton Von Charles who both provide beautiful and lively music to help boost the mood and the atmosphere. If you are a Smoker, they have a wonderful back patio that makes you feel even more at home with its wonderful seating and plenty of ashtrays to go all-round. They have paired with local business to provide a wonderful cigar menu that is filled with wonderful blends and wraps from all around. I am so excited Butler's Easy opened up in the Sunnyslope neighborhood! This part of the neighborhood really needs a more upscale cocktail lounge. I'm not knocking Rumrunners bc I love it, but this place has a totally different vibe. It was quiet when we arrived bc it was early on a Saturday afternoon. We were given the soft opening menu that had a nice variety of beers on tap, wines, and cocktails. They also offer a variety of canned beers. We ordered Palomas to start followed by a Moscow mule and caipirosca. All of the drinks were amazing and amazingly priced at $7 each! The atmosphere is modern lounge and the service was great. During the day it's pretty casual but I could see going here for date night in the near future! read more

I really enjoyed this place. My friends and I attended a MLK Social Mixer hosted by GPUL and it was a great time! The dj was great, I loved the music he played, and the atmosphere was just chill and good vibes. Overall, it was a wonderful experience! But, I will tell you, the purple drink in this pic, is a no-go. I don't remember the name of the drink, I just know it was a martini and one of the ingredients is elderberry. It was so bitter and tasted like NyQuil, I couldn't bear to drink it. I thought it was awful ! If you're like me, someone that enjoys fruity, sweet drinks, you'll mostly likely hate this drink lol So, if you see the martini with elderberry in it on the menu, STAY AWAY. I didn't even finish the drink! What you see in the pic is how I left it... My friends felt bad, so they bought me some green tea shots to try to make up for it. Now let me tell you, those were amazeballs!!! I HIGHLY recommend the green tea shots! But, you gotta be careful with it those, 'cause they taste so good you'll just keep drinking and drinking and before you know it, they done creeped up on you and now you're drunk lol (speaking from personal experience ). Being unkind, inconvenienced and overall judgmental is the wrong attitude for the service industry.
