The quality of my entire experience at this restaurant was viscously disappointing. I waited 30 minutes for a table, and after sitting and ordering we waited for another hour for our food. Good food and attentive service. The veggie scramble was terrific with fresh ingredients. The eggs Benedict was decent and the stuffed French toast was good. My son says the Benedict at Egg and I is better. The sourdough toast was more like white bread than sourdough and, interestingly, no jam or jelly. Our server and other servers kept our water glasses full and served the food while it was hot. They were pleasant. Food seemed to take a little while, but that's okay if it comes out hot and tasty, which it did. Prices were not inexpensive (about $10 per entree), but quality was good. We used to love this place but...last time wasn't too great but this time was straight up terrible. At one point, the entire section was full...we had all been sitting there 20+ minutes (after waiting 20 minutes to be seated) and not one table had their food. NOT ONE .TABLE. This is probably my faovrite breakfast place in all of Greeley. I didn't even know about it until my dad had taken me to it for my birthday [since the time I was born was in the morning] the servers are very nice and care about your opinion. Service pet friendly and amazing real syrup. I wish I had their syrup in my home. Their pancakes well baked and fluffy. Table wait is never too long. The warm atmosphere is just amazingly calming. We just took my aunt and uncle here the other day and they loved it as well! The Cabo Wabo was my favorite thing to eat before I turned pescatarian. Now? The strawberry banana waffles are my go-to. Add a little whipped cream on top, and it's eeeeven better. Their coffee is so smooth I could drink it black, and I'm really picky about drinking black coffee. It's really disappointing that in a town of blue collar workers there isn't a good diner. Greeley could use a good diner with consistent food. The servers were attentive and very apologetic when things went wrong with our orders. Chicken fried steak was the only thing we ate. The hash browns were old and dried out, the pancakes came out with fruit in them, we didn't ask for fruit in them. The eggs were overdone, coffee was awful tasting. Manager wouldn't even come out of the back to talk to us when we asked to speak with them. This happened both times we visited. read more

It's super close to my house, it's always clean, the French Toast is amazing, they make REALLY good gravy (which is really hard to find), the food is always hot and freshly made, and they have breakfast margaritas! Instead of all the traditional breakfast places, like IHOP, VI, Egg & I, I googled "Greeley breakfast" and found a new breakfast/lunch place called Butters. This place is a breakfast/lunch eatery. Below is my simple review .... - the environment is neat, clean , and modern. They have traditional seating with a lot of earth tones and big, bold signage. There is a bigger meeting room with a nice long table to accommodate larger groups. - The menu has an interesting spin on a lot of traditional breakfast dishes (see photos). They also have a lunch menu. I like the menu. - The wait staff is friendly and attentive. - Unfortunately their espresso machine wasn't working today. - I had the stuffed hash browns with chorizo. My dish tasted good with lots of flavor. However, my dish was a bit warmer then room temperature. I was thinking this would be a hot dish. - Overall, I'm glad to help support local establishments. I'll come again and try a different dish to see how much I like this place or not. read more

We tried this place for the first time after reading different reviews. The pancakes had a great flavor. The berry waffle was delicious and didn't even need syrup, it was so good on its own. My mother in law and I were so excited to try a new place and the menu looks amazing!! We were sadly disappointed. We waited over 30 mins to get our coffee, when I finally grabbed another server to ask, and an hour after putting out order in we were informed that they were out of grilled chicken for the California Dreamin Sandwich. An hour?! We got our food 90mins after we were sat. Our server was Carmelita and she appeared to have been overworked and preoccupied. The place wasn't Busy, but looked as if it had just finished a morning rush. We were there at 11:30AM. First thing that came to mind when I walked into this restaurant, "Wow it's pretty nice in here." Who knew that the impressive scenery would be the only thing I would see for the next 40 minutes. After reading the reviews of this place I decided to take a chance and try the Greeley location. We were there early at 7:30am with only a few patrons in the restaurant. Our order was taken and realizing there was only one waitress, I expected to have slower service. That being said, after waiting an hour and having 4 other tables in our section get their food before us I had lost the generous amount of patience I had when I had walked in. They did comp one of the items, but no real effort was made prior to waiting so long for our food. The reason it got 2 stars instead of 0-1 is the food, the butters Benedict was awesome and the Hollandaise sauce was outstanding, my fiance had the Cap'n Crunch apple french toast and loved hers as well. Oh, we were not the only table that had this issue, apparently they "lost" our ticket and never made our food. Other guests had had this happen as well and ended up walking out. Bottom line, as a new business you have a small window to get these things worked out or the place will have a bad reputation and will fail. This is unacceptable to be over a month open and having so many issues with taking care of the customers. read more

Butters Restaurant, is still a semi-recent Breakfast/Lunch restaurant. The following is how I rated my most recent experience (June, 24th2018, 9:45AM). Seating and other amenities: Indoor & outdoor seating & Free WiFi Location and Parking: Located in a corner near a Wells Fargo bank branch with plenty of parking. Presentation: 4 of 5 Stars - Ordered a staple dish that is popular and highly recommended on their menu. "Protein Diet" Service: The service from the time I walked in the door till the bill was paid 0 of 5 stars - The server was very aloof, knowledge of the menu was average, Food runners brought our dishes to our table as expected, The dishes arrived 30-35 minutes after we placed our order. Salt/pepper (a basic offering) was not on the table. The Server did not check on us after our food was delivered to ask if we needed any refills, napkins, and had to get up and locate a second employee to fetch our bill. Cleanliness of store 2 of 5 stars - The floors and tables were not as clean as someone would expect. The windowsills and fans were filled with dust and thus we decided to eat on their patio after observing this indoors. Staff 3 of 5 stars - No initial greetings were offered upon our arrival, No name-tags were noticeable. Uniforms were not consistent throughout. Food tasting 2 of 5 stars - The dish was unseasoned, bland, and overall not a dish I would recommend in the future. My overall rating and experience was "Poor" - I have attended this restaurant 4 times since their grand opening and my experience each visit was practically the same each time. Food was mediocre to okay, although the service could have been much better. The few servers on duty were simply overwhelmed by the number of patrons needing served - this loosely akin to a trip for groceries to a Walmart establishment packed with patrons, and eager buyers sharing only several open, out of 25 to 30 available (but closed), checkout lanes. Our experience began with a call, hours in advance, to reserve a table for a relatively small group of eight. When we arrived we had to wait for about 25 minutes. Once we were finally seated it was several minutes before we were greeted by our server, and another 15 minutes before we were served our beverages..... you get the idea, hurry up and wait, and wait, and wait. After our food was finally served, someone from our table had to go fetch silverware and napkins in order to get started. To top it off, Butters will not accept valid Colorado identification as proof of legal age to legally be served alcoholic beverages. Members of our party who have recently turned 21 were refused service for beverages based on an incorrect interpretation of Colorado law. Butters management insisted that Colorado drivers licenses printed vertically rather than horizontally are not acceptable forms of identification, this, even though the IDs are unexpired and valid, issued by the State of Colorado, and meet all state criteria regarding proper identification. A bit of research on Colorado law after our visit to Butters did not uncover any information that was consistent with Butters' interpretation. Nothing was found in Colorado's regulations by the Liquor & Tobacco Enforcement Division, or the Colorado revised statutes on valid identification that mention anything about horizontal versus vertically-printed ID cards. (Regulation 47-912 and Colorado revised statute C.R.S. 42-2-302 and 42-2-303). ....and that's okay, its Butters' loss of revenue. Needless to say, our experience at Butters was not a good one, and I doubt that any Yelp review or education on the law will change Butters for the "better". That was first and last visit to Butters for me. read more

My husband and I have come here many times. LOVE the remodel that was done with the entry way. The majority of the time it isn't too busy. We went in yesterday for a New Year's Day brunch and the place was slammed. We were sat right away in the bar area. Our server, Kianalou, was absolutely amazing. He was very attentive and friendly. With being so busy, the food took a much longer time than we are used to. Not sure how long it really was, but Kianalou came over several times to update us and make sure we were okay. There were servers and hosts running all around the place to keep things moving the best they could given the unexpected rush of people hungry for brunch. As we waited for food, we watched several tables be very rude to other servers, who handled it so well. We didn't catch the other servers name who had her table be very rude, but we commend your professionalism with how you handled the given situation. Breakfast for 2 took over 40 minutes, hash browns tasted more burnt than being burnt off a campfire .. Cooks replaced it with browns that tasted worse.
