Another great brunch spot in Spring Branch! Buzz and Bites has such a fun and inviting vibe to it, and has such a great menu that provides options but isn't overwhelming. As far as food goes, Buzz and Bites is awesome. They're Mediterranean Toast and Roasted Ham Pesto very so delicious, using ingredients that tasted natural and wholesome. At first, we thought the ratios for the pastries were off, but they ended up being just the right amount of chocolate and mixed berry jam. They area I feel like they could use some improvement is with their coffee. The Iced Mocha tasted very watered down, and only had small hints of mocha. The Dirty Chai seemed very diluted as well, and we couldn't really taste the chai. All in all a great experience, nobody is perfect. The croissant, egg, avocado and bacon breakfast sandwich was shear perfection. I took the first bite and the scrambled eggs were hot. Right off the flattop hot. They were so soft and tender like I've never had before. The croissants was tender inside and crispy on the outside. The avocado was ripe and the bacon was cooked as crisp as I hoped for. Look no further, but I think I found my favorite coffee shop in the spring branch area! I love how they have a special drink menu here! So they tend to spice it up every month or so with something new. I highly recommend getting their cloud ube latte - it's not too sweet and the ube is very milky! My second favorite here has to be the raspberry açaí lemonade. The strawberry and raspberry purée is the best combo ever! I also had the strawberry shake, which almost tasted like strawberry shortcake, but in a drink form! It's a bit on the sweeter side, so it's great if you have major sweet tooth! This place is really cute, and I think it's worth trying if you need a change of scenery. I ordered the Vietnamese iced coffee (pictured below), which was decent but not the best I've had. My friend ordered the pistachio latte, which I think had an interesting flavor that I think a broad audience could get behind and is probably what I'd recommend you try. They also have various pastries and foods you can order. The interior is bright and clean with limited seating. The bathrooms are clean, and the employees were kind. If you're looking to study for several hours, I'd bring some print material because there is limited wall plug access. Additionally, the cafe closes at 6 PM, so it's not the best choice for late risers like myself. Cute little place, great atmosphere! There wasn't a wait, we were seated immediately. The food was yummy but the service was AWFUL. We were given water when we sat and we ordered drinks. They brought our drinks when they brought our food but no silverware. When we stopped and asked someone because our waitress had not come back by, they brought three for a table of five people. My husband had to get up and go ask for more. Never saw our sever again. We finished our food and waited quite awhile before being able to ask someone for our check. When I saw John mention a place twice, that's all the signal we need to rush to Buzz N Bites for brunch with Baby this weekend. Baby meets a new girlfriend, a small poodle named Sophie, but he is playing hard-to-get when Sophie tries to initiate play with him. The diversity of the people at this place brings a smile to my face. We made friends with a family seated next to us on the patio who is from Oaxaca and El Salvador. John's recommendation of The Classic Croissant is spot on, made with simple ingredients of Scrambled Eggs, Tomato, and Swiss Cheese. He was not exaggerating about the fluffiness of the Scrambled Eggs, with melted Swiss Cheese folded inside, it's like biting into a pillowy cloud of savory egginess. Being the Burger sluts that we are, we had to try their new burger menu. The staff recommends The Hive, as the closest to a traditional Cheeseburger which I prefer, consists of Avocado, Arugula, Cheddar Cheese, Tomato, homemade Butter, Dijonnaise, on a Brioche Bun. The Beef Patty is ordinary but nicely seasoned, cooked medium-well. I find Arugula is a good balance to the sweetness of other ingredients. The Tater-tots that accompany are as crispy as they can get and still maintain moisture inside. A totally formidable burger that satisfies our craving. The Iced Buzz Lavander Latte, made less sweet, is strong enough as an Espresso beverage with a hint of Lavander. We're so content with our meal, and Baby is happy to meet new friends, some called him "thick". With satisfying food and beverages, a nice patio for pets, and a generally good vibe, we can see this place easily included in our regular rotation. I tried buzz and bites over the weekend and over the weekend and overall had a pleasant experience. The restaurant is smaller than I anticipated (end of a shopping strip) so there isn't a whole ton of seating. I definitely wouldn't recommend for a party bigger than 4 and get there early. There is some outdoor seating and a putt putt area. The menu has a lot of great options for brunch, I got the Vietnamese iced coffee which was very good and strong, I was wired after that, lol. While the coffee is still great and creative (I got the Cloudy Ube), the pastry was a bit of a letdown and didn't satisfy my croissant cravings. What a nice and chill coffee place that lives in the Spring Branch side of town! I heard about this place as I was scrolling through my TikTok, and I wanted to give it a try. Before I went, I was hoping that there would be (in my mind), 3 essential things for a coffee shop: 1. Good selection of drinks/beverages 2. Good Wi-fi for all users 3. Plenty of seating (with some power plugs lying around?) Buzz N Bites does provide all of these things, so this definitely satisfies my essentials for an excellent coffee shop. They have a great menu that serves a variety of drinks, my favorites are the Cold Brew and the Strawberry Lemonade. Wi-fi is speedy and can take care of a lot of users at one time! I connected when the coffee shop was pretty full, and I had no problems connecting or the massive lag of people logged on at the same time. There is plenty of seating, from outdoors by the front, to the side porch/patio, and sufficient seating inside with high tables and regular tables. Love this place! The raspberry açaí lemonade (pictured on the left) is the best thing to have on a hot summer day! The ice pandan cloud latte (minus the strawberry purée) (pictured on the left) was not what I hoped it to be. I didn't taste any pandan and it was not as sweet as I would like it to be. Idk, the main thing is, I ordered a bacon avocado croissant and the avocado came back with A LOT of the rind still on it. I had ordered it to go, so I didn't find out till I got home. Now it's a soggy egg, and bacon croissant. I also got a salted caramel macchiato. It was ok...if I had paid half the price that I did. Overpriced for subpar food. The wait is maybe 10-12 minutes, not too bad, but again, the rinds, the coffee. If they had not rushed it maybe it would've been right. I wouldn't call it a brunch place, it is more like a Cafe where serves light food or a quick bite. As much as I wanted to be basic and try the avocado toast and French toast, but I decided to try something different. I ordered two panini sandwiches, tuna melt and the toasted ham pesto. Both sandwiches are delightful, they are good at the first bite, but will grow on you the more bites you take, i seriously can't decide which one I like more. It looks small when you first enter, but with the outdoor seating and good sized restroom area, they actually have a decent size shop. The first item on their "favorites" menu is the Buzz Lavender Latte a.k.a. Honey Lavender Latte. They also have various other pastries like muffins and cinnamon rolls but I opted for their chocolate croissant. Both were excellent and the croissant is made with good quality chocolate and served on a cheese block. The latte is a great drink thats not overly sweet.
