The crew boss had a bad attitude, their attention to detail was mediocre at best, and they even forgot to move one of the most important pieces in the move, which I had to contract for later separately with a different provider. Horrific experience during an extremely vulnerable and stressful time (moving unexpectedly as a single mom who works full time). The mover they sent (random contracted peopled???) verbally hit on me numerous times and then casually approached me and TOUCHED me. Literally massaged my shoulders after all my things were loaded into the truck. Behaved as though they were casual friends being paid in pizza and beer rather than professionals. Guilted me for not having a group of people there helping lift/move. I had to call a male friend to meet me at drop off location because I was so uncomfortable & the mover asked if it was my brother ..... I brought this up to the business the same day, and they never followed up with me as promised. Attached photo is the sticker on the truck they moved me in. So you'll probably be okay hiring this company if you're male but otherwise, cannot recommend. Oh also they had given me a 1-3pm window, showed up at 3:30 and told it would be an 8 hour job.... because they obviously didn't want to do it? It took what seemed like an hour wasted just to disassemble my child's bed (which wasn't thus reassembled) and the whole process was drawn out, long & extremely uncomfortable. Ultimately I think the move was done in 5 hours (I lugged boxes/furniture the entire time too) - but it was infuriating to be treated like I was inconveniencing people I was paying. The only reason why this is not a five star is that there might have been a miscommunication with the company on start time. We started an 1.5 hr later than scheduled start time - idk if there was a misunderstanding on the booking/scheduling side of the company or what. But when that was taken care of, they called me when they were arriving and when they got here, they were very efficient and really took care of our items. Moved my 2 bedroom to a 1 bedroom. Him and his partner also built my bed frame and just great. This second time was a smaller haul but Ryan was my mover. I said Ryan, you do the moving as well. The movers were scheduled to arrive between 8:00 and 9:00 AM, and they showed up at 9:05 -- close enough that it still felt punctual and organized. What can I say about BZ Moving. Needed to find a moving company for to relocate, I found BZ Moving on Yelp. Based on the reviews, I decided to go with them. I contacted them and Ryan contacted me back within a couple of minutes. He gave me a quote and in my personal opinion, it was very reasonable. So when the day came, Sergi arrived, looked to see what items needed to be moved and immediately started working away. The speed and agility that he was displaying was remarkable and wrapping the items in plastic wrap and covers was expected. Haden (2nd mover) arrived to assist Sergi and both were moving my items quickly and accurately. Once the items were loaded into the truck, it was time to go to the new location. When we arrived, they were quick and were really ingenintive in my personal opinion. I saw that they awhile they were carrying the long sofa and the dinner table, they did not have to disassemble anything. Sergi and Haden were able to fit the items through the front door with no damage. After everything was moved in, I asked Sergi if you could assist me move my Turtle Tank inside. He was more than willing and was very gracious. At the end, i paid them in Cash (Recommended) and tipped them separately for their hard work and service they did for me. Was pressured into leaving 5 star review on the spot while holding my newborn after running out with my newborn to get cash. After hassling with writing a review one handed, having to allow camera access so I could post a photo, and needing to create and sign into yelp, he then decided to hassle me on the amount tipped even though I tipped well over 20% of the sub total ($115/hour with 3 hour minimum). Dan informed me that most other clients tip higher and asked for more. All this was after already spending an additional $25 on drinks that they requested in the middle of the job (which funnily enough was about the amount he was asking for in extra tip). On top of everything, the job itself was incredibly simple, just moving items that we had already staged in our garage to another garage. No heavy furniture, couches, beds, or TVs. Total job time was well under the 3 hour minimum that we paid for. Needless to say, we will not be using them again. read more

We hired BZ Movers for a move in December 2025. Unfortunately, our experience during and after the move fell far below what was promised. We were quoted $170 per hour for four movers to relocate us from a four-bedroom, three-story home to a four-bedroom, two-story home. Ryan, who coordinated the move, and the movers themselves were courteous and respectful. However, the execution of the move was extremely inefficient. The movers repeatedly repacked items that were already packed, duplicated work, and took significantly longer than necessary. At one point during the move, we explicitly asked the movers not to touch my wife's clothing and not to place them into a separate box. They agreed to this request but proceeded to do the opposite. They handled and packed her clothing anyway, including her undergarments. This was not only a failure to follow our instructions but also a clear violation of her privacy. The move ended up taking over 14 hours. Several items were moved to the new house that were not supposed to be taken, while many other items were left behind at our previous home. Additionally, our piano was scratched, and the frame of our crib was bent beyond repair. The crib alone cost $400 and had to be discarded. We had clearly separated trash bags set aside to be thrown away, yet those were also loaded and moved. Overall, this was a very frustrating experience. The movers took their time, repacked items unnecessarily, and the final cost exceeded $2,400 for a move of only six miles. What has been most disappointing is the lack of follow-up. Initially, Ryan appeared willing to work with us toward a resolution. On the day of the move, he applied a $200 discount for the extended time and offered an additional $200 for damages. However, this does not come close to covering the damage to the crib or addressing the inefficiency that unnecessarily prolonged the move. Ryan stated he would follow up, but since then, he has not returned our calls or responded to our messages. I am writing this as a frustrated customer seeking a resolution. I am open to amending or removing this review if Ryan and BZ Movers reengage in communication so we can come to a fair conclusion. read more
